13/03/2026: A wonderful experience at Café Charmant! We had lunch in a warm and inviting atmosphere. I chose the chicken paupiette, which was perfectly cooked: expertly prepared, with flavorful vegetables and a beautifully balanced jus. My sister opted for an absolutely delicious vegetarian croque-monsieur, generous and bursting with flavor. We finished on a delightful sweet note with a chocolate fondant accompanied by a pecan financier: a true treat for the taste buds. As a pastry chef in a luxury establishment myself, I am particularly attuned to the quality of desserts and the work of the kitchen team. Here, you can feel the genuine expertise, precision, and above all, a great deal of passion. A big thank you to the entire team: kitchen, service, and pastry. I highly recommend this place!

08/03/2026: A truly wonderful evening. The setting is lovely, the service friendly, and the food generous and excellent. The portions are substantial, the carpaccio is hand-carved, and the Milanese-style veal cutlet is incredibly tender. The salmon lasagna is superb, and the pizzas are generously topped. A fantastic place!

13/04/2026: Absolutely avoid this place. I've never had such a bad meal in Lyon. Even small Indian snack bars are far better. The meat clearly tasted like it had been there a day, and the plate was full of bones and thick layers of fat… unacceptable, especially considering the prices. I love Indian food, but this was nothing like what you'd expect: the dish was frankly disgusting. As a result, my stomach still hurts, even though I usually have a strong stomach. In short, steer clear if you don't want to be disappointed.

13/04/2026: A pleasant setting and a beautiful establishment, true to the spirit of Bocuse brasseries. The cuisine is good, very traditional, and well-executed. The service improved during the meal, although it could sometimes seem a little rushed and lack a touch of warmth. The atmosphere was a bit noisy this Sunday lunchtime, but still perfectly bearable. Overall, a good experience.
