12/09/2026: As a loyal customer for several years, I was disappointed today with the grilled octopus dish, which didn't justify the price (€23) due to the small portion size. There was no side dish (pasta or rice), just grilled octopus with smoked provolone and apples so crushed they were barely noticeable. Luckily, I wasn't very hungry. However, the taste was delicious.

The fish was excellent, cooked to absolute perfection. 👌 Homemade cuisine, including homemade desserts, using high-quality ingredients and meticulous preparation. I also thoroughly enjoyed the pleasant, slightly shaded terrace in the beautiful village of Poleymieux-au-Mont-d’Or. Excellent value for money for a truly wonderful experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return! Thanks again to the chef and Emma. 🍽️

25/07/2026: Beautifully crafted and delicious dishes that are out of the ordinary. Cocktails in the same vein, not to mention some lovely wines. A place where it's pleasant to take your time and savor the moment, simply like a true epicurean. Beautiful and delightful moments.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner's niece, a veritable ray of sunshine, whose kindness instantly brought a smile to your face. Then came the journey… A journey on the plate, first and foremost, with dishes of exceptional quality, prepared with finesse, passion, and care. Each bite was a discovery. And subsequently, we discovered much more than just a restaurant… Thanks to the owner, a true enthusiast, we traveled through history. What a joy to connect with someone who shares their knowledge with such passion and generosity. We left with our taste buds tingling, our heads brimming with wonderful discoveries, and our hearts filled with the joy of a truly beautiful encounter. There are restaurants we appreciate… and then there are those we never forget. Le Rose Indien is undoubtedly one of those places. A magnificent experience, a culinary and cultural journey, and an encounter that will stay with us forever. 05/09/2026: It's been a long time since I've experienced this kind of atmosphere, the kind only those over 50 can truly appreciate: a warm, friendly, and welcoming place. I initially just stopped for a beer after a two-hour motorcycle ride in the sun. Located right in the heart of Lyon, I discovered a welcoming owner who made me want to stay and eat. And the tagine, couscous, and many other dishes were all equally delicious. I don't just recommend it; I highly recommend it. A little touch of humor describes the owner: he calls it "Au Bon Beurre" (The Good Butter), which says it all for someone from North Africa. Steph
