24/03/2026: I come here from time to time. The service is always excellent, especially from the lady who usually greets me. The place is clean and comfortable. The portion of fries is generous and super crispy. I particularly like the pizzas, but I've also tried the hamburgers, which I enjoyed as well. I recommend it.

22/02/2026: Hello, When I placed my order on February 21, 2026, I found a black foreign object in the meat, which is completely unacceptable and dangerous to my health. I vomited all evening and I intend to see a doctor. I took photos and a video as evidence. I will publish them to warn other consumers because this is very serious; it almost looks like a baby mouse, especially since the black area was sometimes hard and sometimes soft, and in a chicken that was supposed to be white, it's blatant. I expect a refund and compensation from you; otherwise, I will forward the case to the relevant authorities (hygiene, consumer protection). I hope to resolve this amicably, but without a prompt response from you, I will take the necessary steps. Sincerely.

09/07/2025: This is the best restaurant in Belleville. In fact I don't think I have ever visited a better one anywhere. Yes, there are more sophisticated, more expensive, more polished places here. But nothing this good. The food is simple, honest, wonderfully cooked, and very reasonably priced. The team, front and back of house, are friendly and welcoming. The clientele is principally local, and loyal.

11/03/2026: A very bad experience. I ordered a burger with a well-done patty and no salad. My order arrived with pink (bloody) meat and salad everywhere. The fries were bland; they tasted like they were a week old and had just been reheated. To make matters worse, the prices are higher than at other restaurants in the area. Paying more for such poor service is unacceptable. I do not recommend it and I will not be returning.

11/03/2026: Poor hygiene and poor service attitude when I ate my pho ， I found a ladybug inside the soupe， I am sure about it！ cause I saw the dots on the bug， so I asked the boss change ， the man looks doesn't seem very willing to remake for me！ but ， finally, he remake! But!!! He told my friend it is not a ladybug in French! Hahha. Funny!!! 😮😮😮😮 I never wanna go for eating anymore!!!! and also still now the boss dont admit it is a bug！ so funny！ my friends said when his father is the boss ，the service is worst than now . fine！ it is my fault that I find the place for eat！ 🤮🤮🤮

07/03/2026: A lovely dining room, well-spaced tables, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers a limited selection, but everything is excellent. The hummus amuse-bouche is very light, the snails in their casserole are perfectly buttery and cooked to perfection. The beef cheek is divine, and even the accompanying mashed potatoes are delicious. The desserts are equally impressive: the rice pudding and the revisited lemon tart are perfect—a pleasant surprise. Only the wines (local, of course) seemed a little weak (we tasted three different ones). Let's just say we've had better in Beaujolais, especially since they were served a bit too chilled. But overall, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a wonderful time. The €42 set menu (starter/main/dessert) is easily worth it. We skipped the cheese course, which was only €4 more, but that would have been too much. We highly recommend it.

22/02/2026: Excellent restaurant with delicious traditional French dishes. The menu is short but offers a variety of options (including vegetarian) to satisfy all tastes. The service is also very friendly.

12/12/2025: An absolutely adorable cocktail bar!! Thursday nights are pure bliss. So friendly, such a great atmosphere, the servers/waitresses/mixologists are absolute sweethearts (big shout-out to Yannis and the others!), so elegant, always smiling, always ready with a joke—we adore them, literally!! Thank you and long live this magical place, quite simply my favorite spot in Lyon 🥰

30/01/2026: A return visit today to this establishment that I've enjoyed for several years. The food is flavorful and delicious. A great menu with something for everyone. The place is well-run by the very welcoming owner and her team. Affordable prices for generous portions and simple but delicious glasses of wine. A friendly restaurant that has become my second home. 05/04/2026: Passing through the area for a fishing trip, we stopped at the Relais du Vieux Moulin… and frankly, we weren't disappointed! The setting is fantastic, peaceful, surrounded by nature, perfect after a great day by the water. The welcome was incredibly warm; we immediately felt at ease. And the food was simply delicious: generous portions, quality ingredients, exactly what you need to recharge! Special mention for the meat, a real treat! 👌 A great place to keep in mind when you're in the area. I'll definitely be back after my next fishing trip! 🎣

17/03/2026: It pains me to give 4 stars because the pasta is exquisite and they also offer takeout. However, the waitress was cold and didn't exactly seem welcome. In short, takeout is still the best option!

09/03/2026: Excellent vegetable noodles 🍜, despite the pork which, honestly, we didn't really like… No complaints, I recommend it, it's a great find. The quantity-quality-price ratio is really reasonable, even surreal considering the generous portions… 😋 However, there's no particular atmosphere: the place is rather noisy because there's only one dining room (and also because it was a Saturday night, hence the wait).

14/03/2026: We had been wanting to discover Le Petit Meunier for some time, and we chose this magnificent setting to celebrate our civil partnership. What a wonderful experience! Located just 20-25 minutes from Lyon, the restaurant offers a timeless escape. The place is superb: a modern and refined decor that has retained its soul by incorporating the famous mill inside, giving the room a truly unique character. We opted for the Prestige package, and it was an absolute delight from beginning to end. A huge thank you to chefs Laurence and Jérôme Gagneux, as well as the entire team in the dining room and kitchen, for their warm welcome. We were particularly touched by the attention paid to our event, with the complimentary glasses of champagne offered to celebrate our union. An exceptional address that we wholeheartedly recommend for special occasions!

13/03/2026: We came to celebrate a special occasion with my sweetheart, and we absolutely loved our time at this restaurant, which we know very well. A truly unique restaurant in Messimy! The new interior design beautifully showcases the iconic windmill that has made the place famous. It strikes a perfect balance between elegance and modernity, without compromising the restaurant's inherent charm: the exposed windmill and the beams running through it. The food was flawless. Two Prestige menus at €62, including a pre-starter, starter, after-dinner ice cream, main course, and dessert: not a single misstep, and even a thoughtful touch for the occasion we were celebrating. A huge congratulations to chefs Jérôme and Laurence Gagneux, as well as their entire team, both in the kitchen and the dining room, for their impeccable service. We had a truly delightful experience at this restaurant and we can't wait to return when the weather is warmer and the outdoor seating is ready. Congratulations again and thank you (special mention to the person who made the salted caramel for the dessert. My mouth is still watering!).
