02/07/2025: I must admit that this is not my best culinary experience. Strange couscous with uncooked merguez. A very unusual taste!!!

10/04/2025: While passing through Caluire, I discovered this good restaurant thanks to the Google Maps review. The couscous is super good. First time in this restaurant, but frankly I don't regret it. I will not fail to return there on occasion. Since this review it's the 3rd time and still just as satisfied.

19/12/2024: Waiters who flirt heavily with customers are no longer possible. Extremely poor quality beer for an excessive price, (meteor beer). The place pretends to be Pseudo punk but place run by dubious people, who think of making money without real value. I don't recommend it if you're looking for an alternative bar in Lyon.

08/12/2025: Tonight they refused to serve tea. If you don't order anything, the toilet is inaccessible. I've never seen anything like it! Shame on this shopkeeper. Hot chocolate was €3.80, not a drop of milk! There were two of us! I was barely allowed to sit down. I come from Franche-Comté; I'll remember the hospitality of Lyon.

25/09/2024: A real favorite, as much for the restaurant as for the owner and her employees. The dishes are excellent, served quickly, plentifully and hot! a real treat! The boss is a dynamic, pleasant, smiling person who listens to her customers. I recommend ++++++ and congratulations for your professionalism and good humor.

19/09/2024: Disappointing, high price for a strawberry in water (where was the strawberry?) Plus an error in the change! Although 0.10 cents but still!!!

07/07/2025: A big thank you to Loïse for her exceptional service at Café de la République. She was smiling, attentive, and very professional. It's rare to come across such a warm and efficient waitress. We will be happy to come back.

02/07/2025: I ordered a virgin strawberry mojito with no added sugar. The waitress explained to me that they didn't add any sugar (even though cane sugar was listed in the ingredients). She explained that the "strawberry cream" used for the cocktail was already very sweet (even though it was supposed to be puree) and that's why they didn't add any sugar. The result: half a centimeter of refined sugar deposits at the bottom of my glass and a cocktail that was way too sweet... I must have run into a lazy waitress who didn't want to indicate the "sugar-free" option.

01/09/2024: All you can eat buffet. Little choice of meat, however, in quantity and average quality. Can meet the expectations of customers looking for an original dinner. Rather disappointing when we have already tested other Korean barbecues.
