29/03/2026: The service was too slow; we arrived at 8:30 PM and didn't eat until around 10:15 PM! There wasn't enough atmosphere before the DJ came on to get us dancing! Some music to get us in the mood before hitting the dance floor would be great 👍 because boredom sets in very quickly!

29/03/2026: Hello. I won't be becoming a "L'Addict" (a play on words, roughly translating to "The Addict"). As for the restaurant... the risotto was barely lukewarm, and "soft" was only in name, probably taken out of the freezer too late. Some of the fries were undercooked. Regarding the service, the waitress was a bit rude and not really attentive to the customer! Apart from taking the menus, she never once came to ask if everything was alright or even to anticipate the water service. (A bit like a fast food restaurant) where you know the service is nonexistent. Regarding the music (supposedly 80s/90s), I mostly heard 2000s remixes for over an hour (we must be jet-lagged?!). And the most important thing is yet to come... You manage sharp or breakable items before the music starts, fine! But when the customer is on the dance floor and the outside world arrives, it's up to the customer to constantly police the area, risking a fight, to keep their seat! ...1 time, 2 times, 5 times... far too many times... So managing the equipment is good, but you should also manage the people.

11/03/2026: A very good experience at Restaurant de la Gare. The staff is truly attentive and very responsive to customers. You can tell they do everything to ensure a pleasant experience and excellent service. The service is impeccable, and the dishes are brought with great care. The presentation is clean, and you can see that the meals are prepared with care and quality ingredients. Everything was delicious and well-cooked. The restaurant has a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, making for a very enjoyable experience. You feel comfortable and welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of its cuisine, the friendliness of the staff, and the attention to detail in the service. A place to discover and return to without hesitation.

15/03/2026: A single menu, which is a real shame... it was good but no children's menus offered... €30 menu for children and adults... too expensive.

15/04/2026: We ate next to people we didn't know. Cooking on a heated table with a show: flambéed dishes, knife fighting. The chef has a peculiar sense of humor 🤣.

04/03/2026: I do not recommend this restaurant after our visit. The dining area is very cramped: the upstairs has low ceilings, poor ventilation, is extremely noisy, and quickly becomes stuffy. The children's table was placed right next to the restroom door, which is neither pleasant nor appropriate. The stairs leading upstairs are steep and slippery, truly dangerous for young children. As for the food, it was decent but uninspired, far from compensating for the overall discomfort. Nothing truly memorable or that would make us want to return. The service was the most disappointing aspect. The staff was clearly unfriendly: the cook refused to heat our baby's food, citing the lack of a microwave and time. The waiter made a mistake with our aperitif order, and his attitude was not particularly pleasant throughout the meal. For a family outing, we expected a minimum of attention and consideration, which was not the case. In short, between the unsuitable setting, the heat, the noise, the mediocre quality of the food, and the unwelcoming service, our experience was disappointing from beginning to end. I do not recommend this establishment.

22/02/2026: A wonderful Valentine's Day experience, a very good homemade meal. We discovered them during the Fête de la Musique and were immediately won over.

03/12/2025: Always a good time, a pirate's hideout just the way I like them. The service is very pleasant and they show rugby matches on a retro TV.

28/11/2025: The indoor temperature was a bit chilly. Several dishes were unavailable, as was one of the draft beers on the menu. Prices were slightly higher than elsewhere, and the dish (quenelle) was decent but nothing special. They also didn't serve the standard 50cl pint of beer (each glass was a few centiliters smaller). Overall, a mixed impression...

The welcome is friendly, the service attentive without being intrusive, and you immediately sense the passion for local produce. On the plate, it's a true delight: fresh ingredients, generous and flavorful dishes, perfectly executed. Special mention goes to the Lyonnais specialties, prepared with precision and great taste. Every bite exudes tradition and expertise. All this is accompanied by a fine selection of wines, ideal for enhancing the meal. The value for money is excellent considering the quality offered. A must-visit to discover (or rediscover) Lyonnais cuisine in all its splendor. We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere is friendly, and the owner's (and chef's, of course) passion truly shines through in the food, thanks to a wide variety of fresh, homemade dishes. The quality cuisine is a welcome change from the usual potato gratin, fries, or green beans! A restaurant like no other.

28/02/2026: You booked a group table for lunch because you're a bit pressed for time. You arrive right at noon to avoid the rush, and then you realize your group is watching the waitresses take orders from tables that arrived after you. You wait 45 minutes for them to even bother taking your order, and another 20 minutes to actually be served. Avoid this place... And yes, it was definitely your place...
