01/05/2026: Joyce provided excellent service! It was very good and the service was pleasant and quick.

27/04/2026: The waffle was very good, as was the whipped cream. However, I was disappointed by the chocolate, which was store-bought, though of good quality. It was such a generous portion! The decor of the dining room is far inferior to that of the other two Lyon locations. And it was extremely noisy, as everyone was crammed into one section of the room. I asked to change tables; my second seat was a bit quieter.

12/05/2026: Very disappointed.... The waiter wasn't very friendly. We ordered a €20 burger. The steak wasn't rare. There were two lettuce leaves and way too much sauce. The fries were good. A 30cl beer cost over €4... Frankly, this restaurant isn't welcoming, and the food was very disappointing. After a 20-minute wait, no one came to show us the dessert menu. Perhaps it's optional... Very disappointing...

31/05/2026: From Oven to Street. At Les Artistes on Rue du Mail, the baker lifts a run of baguettes from the oven with a long-handled peel, turns towards the window, and tips them neatly end-on into the yellow basket below. The action is fast and exact, but the room gives it weight: stacked crates, metal shelving, ducting and the old brick arch hold the bakery in plain, hard use. From the pavement, you are close enough to catch the hand-off from oven to basket, with the glass turning that last hot transfer into part of the street scene. In Croix-Rousse, that closeness fits the quarter. Craft and commerce still sit near the pavement here, so the photo catches bread at the point it leaves the oven and enters the morning outside.

23/05/2026: Fantastic experience, from the welcome to the selection of products! I've been a regular for many years and I never get tired of it. I highly recommend this place :) Special mention for the traditional seeded bread, the cheese bread, the flan, and the filled choux pastries.

22/11/2025: Passing through quickly and completely frozen from the descent of the Col de Malval, I received a warm welcome, both literally and figuratively. A really lovely and friendly place 😁

Magalie and her assistant Mégane are wonderful people, always available, attentive, and incredibly kind. Thank you again for making our events magnificent and unforgettable.

26/05/2026: We discovered this place thanks to The Fork, and we weren't disappointed at all! The meal was delicious, we really loved it! Finally, maki and sushi with rice that wasn't dry and wasn't oversized compared to the amount of fish. Everything was just right for us ✨️ The waitresses were friendly and the atmosphere was calm enough to feel comfortable. We'll definitely be back :)

12/05/2026: After several visits to Yoki, I'm never disappointed. I haven't tried the entire menu yet (it would take a lifetime!), but from what little I've tasted, everything has been delicious, well-seasoned, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The selection is varied, there's something for everyone, and the staff is incredibly friendly with very fast service. The restaurant itself is very elegant and clean. My favorite set menus? The M11 and the C7, with the coconut pearls for dessert!

25/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! I ordered a complete takeaway meal (starter, main course, dessert) and everything was excellent. Generous, well-balanced, homemade dishes bursting with flavor. You can taste the quality and care put into every preparation. The value for money is truly impeccable, nothing to complain about. The owners are also very friendly and welcoming. I will gladly return, this time to enjoy their lovely shaded terrace in a charming little village. I highly recommend it!

20/05/2026: Great restaurant with a beautiful view, located near the church and the village square. Excellent value for money for two people. The welcome was very pleasant and the food was excellent. The dishes were homemade, and the portions were generous without being too full.

07/06/2026: I agree with some of the comments that highlight the lack of flavor in the drinks; indeed, the homemade iced tea and the Purple latte were bland. The waitress, however, was very nice.

08/04/2026: The brunch was good, but really overpriced for what it was, mainly because of the quantity. We left hungry after a €26 brunch. All the portions were tiny, the drinks and the dessert... everything was miniature.

29/03/2026: Simply awful! And I say this mainly because of the service. We arrived and were immediately extremely rude. They didn't tell us we needed to sit down, that we should order at the counter, they didn't offer us a menu, and they scolded us when we tried to read a menu that was stuck to the wall. They don't offer any savory options outside of brunch hours, I think, since I couldn't read the menu. Honestly, I recommend you go somewhere else. There are places in Lyon with much better service and less overrated. Unless you like bad service and a mediocre menu.
