13/07/2026: After reading the reviews here, I wasn't sure I wanted to go, but I finally went to try it with friends tonight, and it was honestly pretty good. The restaurant is beautiful and clean, we were well served, the food was good (a little limited) but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The meats were delicious, and the cocktails (non-alcoholic) were great too. Special mention to all the pleasant waiters and waitresses who brought us our meats very quickly despite the number of customers, and to Imen or Ines (if we remember correctly) who seated us in the best spot under the air conditioning (it was too hot). I'm giving it one less star because of the air conditioning issue, otherwise it was great.

13/07/2026: This is my third visit to this restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience remains the same. The decor is tasteful, and thankfully, the food is good and well-prepared. But what a shame about the service... Every time I go, I get the distinct impression that I'm bothering the waitresses. No smiles, not a single warm word, an icy tone that almost makes you want to turn right around and leave immediately. Ladies, the definition of "hospitality" is to receive people with kindness and courtesy, not to make them feel like they're intruding. Once is one thing, but by the third visit, it's no longer just a bad day, it's become a habit. If you're only coming for the food, you'll be satisfied. If you're hoping for a pleasant and welcoming experience, look elsewhere.

11/07/2026: The best in their field! Our safety is guaranteed, thanks to a truly caring and dedicated team. A great atmosphere is guaranteed, top-notch DJs cater to all tastes, and the bar service is fast and efficient. The security team is fair and competent; the negative reviews surely come from shady characters because they are wonderful with both women and men. The comments mentioning racism are completely false! I am North African, and all my friends are North African! They don't care about our background and help us immediately with any problem. As a woman, you immediately feel safe at Loft Club. I've tried absolutely every nightclub in Lyon and the surrounding area, and I can assure you that Loft Club is by far the best, objectively speaking. Look no further if you're hesitating between several nightclubs. Kisses 😘

16/07/2026: The service is pleasant and friendly, but it's bad. No one asks for an aperitif or coffee, and the bread is taken from other tables, so you end up with a piece that everyone else has touched. I ordered an entrecôte with Saint Marcellin sauce, but I got a steak with a sweet sauce and not a single bit of cheese. The meat was poor quality, and to top it off, the dish was cold: a complete disaster! It's a shame because the fries could have been good if they'd been hot. Would I recommend it? NO. PS: The Black Sheriff is 3 years old, not 12… At €10 for 5cl (like Madkaud), it's a real rip-off.

15/06/2026: The true essence of a workers' cafeteria. Since I had to travel to another area, I left the city center early in the morning to arrive right at opening time. The woman in charge of pastries smiled and kindly explained everything from the restaurant's history and style to menu recommendations. I came here because I wanted to visit a place frequented only by real locals, without any foreigners. Since I live far away, I don't know when my next visit will be, but I will definitely plan a trip to Lyon just to come here. Every dish was straightforward yet truly delicious. The portions were very generous; it was difficult for two people to finish two appetizers and two main courses so early in the morning, but they were so good that we somehow managed to eat it all. Even then, what other people ordered looked incredibly appetizing. It seemed like those were the main dishes of the day. It seemed like there weren't many lunch options available at such an early hour, but I have absolutely no complaints. The mini baba and digestifs made for a perfect finish. I hope they stay in business for a long time. It's the best! 😍

26/05/2026: We discovered this place thanks to The Fork, and we weren't disappointed at all! The meal was delicious, we really loved it! Finally, maki and sushi with rice that wasn't dry and wasn't oversized compared to the amount of fish. Everything was just right for us ✨️ The waitresses were friendly and the atmosphere was calm enough to feel comfortable. We'll definitely be back :)

12/05/2026: After several visits to Yoki, I'm never disappointed. I haven't tried the entire menu yet (it would take a lifetime!), but from what little I've tasted, everything has been delicious, well-seasoned, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The selection is varied, there's something for everyone, and the staff is incredibly friendly with very fast service. The restaurant itself is very elegant and clean. My favorite set menus? The M11 and the C7, with the coconut pearls for dessert!

04/06/2026: This is what matcha looks like according to this café. A large glass of milk with vanilla syrup and maybe 1 gram of pastry-grade matcha, all sold for €7 under the name "vanilla cloud matcha." I can't comment on the other drinks and pastries, but it's a disgrace in 2026 to sell this as matcha, especially at a price higher than what you'd pay at a café specializing in quality Japanese matcha. They might as well not offer matcha at all if it's going to be of such terrible quality.

19/05/2026: Worth a try. If you read the reviews, you'll see that the place has a unique sense of humor and a meal that's part of a show. It's definitely not something to take lightly… If you enjoy "H"-style humor (for those who get the reference), you're in the right place! So, you need to be fairly open-minded and take the time to enjoy the experience. Even if you're not entirely comfortable with it, just communicate and let the very friendly chef know. Personally, I really enjoyed everything, especially the meal, although for the price, the portions could have been more generous…
