30/11/2025: We organized a family birthday celebration with about twenty people. We received a wonderful welcome. The food and wines were exquisite and of excellent quality. I highly recommend it.

27/11/2025: The wait and service were far from commensurate with the price. It took an hour between arrival and being served. The dishes were tasty but not filling.

12/12/2025: A magnificent shop, very festive and beautifully decorated, the fresh produce is top-notch!! I highly recommend it to everyone for a successful holiday season.

18/03/2026: Yesterday I went there and encountered a rushed and disrespectful waiter, drunk and unwilling to repeat anything. I didn't even dare ask for extras, even though the service is usually quite pleasant.

15/03/2026: I didn't know the place, but the pagoda aspect attracted me. The staff is very friendly, seemingly a family business. The service was a bit slow, the spring rolls were good, but the caramel pork wasn't actually caramel, or perhaps all the other spring rolls I ate weren't?

20/03/2025: Given the price of €15/16 per pizza, I was expecting something incredible. So here we are, ordering two pizzas to take away. Arriving at home we open the boxes and the surprise, already very small pizzas, much smaller than the pizza box (I remember the price between 15/16€). Very thin crust pizzas ok when the topping is generous but this is not the case because it is non-existent. Tiny pizza that dries very quickly, few toppings. Just see the photos Edit in response: actually when we looked at the photos we said to ourselves that we had been fooled by the size of the pizzas which were clearly not 28cm. But that doesn't solve the problem of lack of filling either. When we eat pizzas we never manage to finish them, here we finished them without any problem because they were small

29/03/2026: A warm welcome and helpful advice. A beautiful shop where quality products are showcased. The sausages for cooking are elegantly displayed in the window; everything is there to inspire and make you want to savor them.

24/11/2025: A perfect neighborhood restaurant in the middle of a residential no-man's-land, in the heart of Lyon's 8th arrondissement medical district, near the Natecia Clinic and the funeral home district! A great little neighborhood restaurant, just the way we like them, with regulars at the bar and a bartender who creates a lively atmosphere: darts are on the agenda. A warm welcome and atmosphere, and good, simple, homemade food: a set menu and a glass of wine 🍷 all for under €25. Thank you to La Maison du Petit Régal for the comfort and this welcome meal on a rainy day, an hour before attending a funeral. Highly recommended!

17/01/2026: We arrived as a couple, and the waiter just looked at us without saying a word. Neither did we 😂 After ten seconds, I finally blurted out, "Can we eat?" He pointed to a table. We sat down, but the table was sticky. I gestured to him to ask if we could move, but no luck. So we took another table next door… also sticky. Anyway, I ordered. I chose a pig's stomach soup. Five minutes later, he brought me a large bowl of tripe soup, explaining that they were out of stomach. The soup was very good, piping hot, and very spicy—perfect for a 2°C (36°F) day. In short: terrible service, good food but ridiculously expensive, with a simple bowl of rice costing €4.

14/01/2026: Excellent experience at Chez Riz 🥢😊. The dishes are flavorful, well-balanced, and generous, featuring authentic Chinese recipes 🍜🔥. The Peking duck and stir-fried noodles are definitely worth trying 😋. Fast service, discreet and efficient staff 👍. Simple yet friendly atmosphere, perfect for a lunch or dinner without any unpleasant surprises. A reliable address in Lyon 👌

03/03/2026: This restaurant is a real gem! A very warm welcome, quick service, and a beautiful, tastefully decorated dining room. The icing on the cake was the delicious meal 😋. We will definitely be back!

15/02/2026: Mixed feelings about our Valentine's Day evening aboard the Hermès II (Bateaux Lyonnais) The cruise was unfortunately canceled at the last minute due to safety concerns related to bad weather. It's obviously a shame for an evening like this, even though we were assured of a refund. The boat is pleasant, nicely decorated with pink lighting, a few (fabric) rose petals, and small (also fabric) bouquets on the tables, adding a romantic touch. The welcome and service were warm and attentive throughout the evening. However, the Valentine's Day meal was a disappointment. The amuse-bouche was uninspired. The velouté served as a starter lacked flavor; several tables even asked for salt and pepper. The vol-au-vent was quite good (one to share). The main course—John Dory fillet, Beaujolais sauce velouté, sweet potato mousseline, and baby spinach—was decent, but not memorable, with little garnish. The dessert was rather disappointing and failed to provide a memorable ending to the meal. Another major drawback was the wine. We opted for the drinks package, but the quality fell far short of our expectations, and we both experienced heartburn. In short, the atmosphere and service were acceptable, but the food won't be remembered fondly.

13/02/2026: A terrible experience. We booked a cruise for my birthday, which was cancelled at the last minute because the boat wasn't running. Already very disappointing. We decided to give it another try for Valentine's Day... and again, the boat didn't sail and simply remained docked. No compensation whatsoever, despite the two disappointments. You book a cruise to go sailing, not to stay put! For the price paid, this is truly unacceptable. I do not recommend it!

18/02/2026: Friendly and quick service. It's a bit like a canteen, but the food is good and welcoming.
