03/08/2026: I've lived in the neighborhood for two years and discovered L'Enjoy Bar completely by chance. Since then, I haven't left: I watched every match of the 2026 World Cup there. The welcome is exceptional, the owner is incredibly friendly and always in a good mood. The cocktail prices are really reasonable, which isn't so common in this kind of place. The clientele is super pleasant and welcoming; you immediately feel at ease. And then there's the setting… the bar is perfectly located facing the Rhône, with a magnificent view. I 100% recommend it to anyone who wants to have a drink in a friendly atmosphere overlooking the river. A real gem!

15/07/2026: No complaints about the atmosphere or the friendliness of the staff. However, regarding the food, I ordered a vegetarian platter. What justifies €20 for this platter? Half a carrot, half a cucumber, a teaspoon of hummus, and a spoonful of tzatziki? Clearly, this is taking advantage of your customers. Extremely disappointed.

The waitress who took our order was utterly appalling to us from beginning to end, for no apparent reason. This is the first time we've ever encountered such unpleasant and unprofessional behavior and tone. I'm still shocked. We won't be returning.

27/08/2026: I normally don't like to leave negative reviews, however this can be an exception with the food we were served. I ordered the Tuna which had obviously been seared on each side but was served unpleasantly cold. The pepper sauce for the steak was also cold and the steak was very tough. The Bacon cheeseburger also had no bacon which was disappointing. Overall staff were good and friendly despite a language barrier, but the food can be one to forget unfortunately.

21/08/2026: Rather disappointed by the food; the grilled falafels were tasteless, as was the sauce... A shame for such a well-known establishment, but we'll give it another try anyway... it just wasn't our day!

05/08/2026: A very bad experience. After spending the afternoon in the nearby park, we decided to stop for a drink. Upon arrival, we saw the "Open" sign on the door. We sat down on the terrace, assuming the restaurant was open for business. After waiting for about ten minutes, without any staff member coming to greet us, we saw several people inside. We tried to enter, but the first door was closed. So we went through the second entrance. The staff were eating and simply informed us that the restaurant was closed for a break. There was no apology for the wait, no explanation for the "Open" sign, and a particularly cold welcome. A simple apology or a kind word would have been enough to avoid this bad impression. Unfortunately, we left feeling like we were bothering them rather than being valued customers.

20/06/2026: Very nice atmosphere and lovely terrace in a quiet neighborhood. I really enjoyed the food, which was very fresh and flavorful. The service was also really good. Super friendly and very helpful. I will definitely come back on my next visit to Lyon. Thanks to the team at Café Thomas.

19/09/2026: The food is very good, but the service from one of the waitresses leaves much to be desired; not a smile. We ordered a plate of fries to share and then asked for a glass of water. We're still waiting for the water after asking several times.
