The meal was excellent, refined, and thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. The show itself was simply magnificent: superb costumes, each scene unique, varied, and sophisticated, with themes and styles to suit every taste. There wasn't a single dull moment. And beyond the quality of the dinner and the show, we were struck by the professionalism of the entire team, their kindness, attentiveness, and thoughtfulness, even before the show began. A must-try! We will definitely be back!

I am of two minds on this restaurant: This was not a Philly cheesesteak - it resembled one, mostly - the ingredients at the most abstract form are the same. However, it is not the same. But, dear reader, do not take this as a negative - I am going to say something that will have me banished from Pudge's, Pat's, and Geno's: this is better. To someone who has never eaten a cheesesteak before, this will surpass what is served in Philadelphia if the two sandwiches are put on a table side by side and one has no other reference or history, and it will be obvious that the ingredients (meat, cheese, bread - a simple trio) are notably better in the sandwich from Philly Soul. To someone who grew up on these sandwiches, I would probably still gravitate towards the Amoroso roll and possibly even the highly controversial "cheese steak hoagie" that I can get from Pudge's, even with the better quality and taste of the sandwich in Lyon. They are not the same sandwich, but if you're looking for a great, fast, somewhat unhealthy lunch in Lyon this would be a top choice.

The one assigned to us doesn't have one, and according to reception, it's only in the superior rooms. Since we needed it for a medication issue, it was enough to know; and all means all. We're in a double room, for two; we've never had one small towel and one large towel. Let's move on to the bathroom fixtures: look at the photos. Conclusion: Stay away from this hotel and be wary of going there. I've attached photographic documentation of the above.

The portions were generous, flavorful, and carefully prepared. Special mention goes to the chicken: perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and, most importantly, not dry, which is often a weak point in this type of dish. The side dishes were also excellent, with well-balanced flavors. A minor drawback was the sweet potato fries, which were unavailable during my visit. Apparently, they had been out of stock for several days. This is a bit of a shame, as they are often a popular side dish, and sweet potatoes are generally quite easy to find. As for the ambiance, the terrace is perfect for enjoying the nice weather, which is very pleasant. However, it has limited seating and opens directly onto the street. Inside, the space is adequate, but it was quite warm during my visit, with noticeable cooking smells. Air conditioning or better ventilation would significantly improve customer comfort. The service also deserves a mention. The woman single-handedly manages the kitchen, reception, service, and payments. Despite this heavy workload, she remains cheerful and does her best to satisfy customers. This can sometimes lead to a slight wait, but it's understandable. 06/05/2026: Great hotel in a quiet part of Lyon, 5 minutes walk to a major train station. The only issue was the lack of a restaurant on site, which is good to have after a long day of sightseeing. Thankfully, there are nearby restaurants.
