28/04/2026: A place I frequent for lunch: Le Lafayette, often with my family, and it's always a pleasure to return. The restaurant is quite small, so I recommend making a reservation. It has a very convivial atmosphere, somewhat reminiscent of a traditional Lyonnais bistro. The service is relaxed, sometimes a little informal, but always warm—you really feel at home. And when the owner is in the mood, he even sings along to French classics, which adds to the charm of the place 🎶 As for the food, it's difficult for me to judge the entire menu… because I always order the same thing 😄: the rare flank steak with shallot sauce, served on a large board with fries and salad. And it's incredible. The cooking is perfectly executed, the meat is tender, the sauce delicious… a real treat every time. It's generous, flavorful, and very well prepared. For meat lovers, it's definitely a place to know. My companions tried other dishes and were always very satisfied as well: you can taste the homemade quality, the fresh ingredients, and the food prepared to order. In short, an authentic, friendly, and generous place that I recommend without hesitation—and where I will continue to return with pleasure. ✨

26/05/2026: Nice place with a good atmosphere and friendly staff, but quite expensive for what it is. We ordered pasta (carbonara and ragù), which wasn't very good and was also very expensive (€19 per dish). As for the antipasti, the patatas bravas and the egg mayonnaise were very good, but again, expensive.

26/05/2026: Don’t think, just come. The service, food, and atmosphere are all top notch. The waiters and chef are all very attentive and the vibe is a little eclectic mixed with just the right amount of punk and charm. You won’t be disappointed!

Here's why I highly recommend this snack bar: Impeccable hygiene: The counter and preparation area are always clean and well-organized, which immediately inspires confidence. Quality of the products: The meat is flavorful, the portions are generous, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. And I mustn't forget to mention the Gruyère sauce—it's simply divine! A warm welcome: The team is always smiling, efficient, and very professional. You truly feel welcome every time you visit. Excellent value for money: For €10 to €20, you leave with a full stomach and a smile. Whether you eat in, take away, or order delivery, it's a sure bet in Saint-Fons! So don't hesitate, treat yourself.

19/04/2026: If there's one place in Old Lyon where time seems to have stood still, it's here. The decor is authentic, reminiscent of an old film. However, the quirky owner creates a lively atmosphere and serves drinks until the early hours. A superb spot for making great (and friendly) acquaintances over a drink. P.S.: I didn't eat there.

04/12/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and what a lucky break it was! We received a very warm welcome, and the food was excellent. Plus, they offer gluten-free options without any problems – pure bliss! We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Lyon.

05/12/2025: Being quite demanding, I was satisfied from start to finish with this pizzeria. The ingredients are high-quality and well-prepared, and the crust is good, crispy, and thin. An essential detail for me: the pizza is topped with mozzarella, not Gruyère. The Brazilian waitress is fantastic—funny and always smiling. As for the owner, you can tell he loves his job; he even takes the time to chat with his customers. You can feel his passion, and as an added bonus, the desserts are homemade. The tiramisu is exceptional. A great find; I'll be back! 😉

02/12/2025: I followed the reviews that promised an ideal place to work, and I wasted my time. There was only one power outlet in the entire café (already in use, of course), pop and rock music blasting, and exorbitant prices for a hard brownie and a bitter, bland matcha. It was my first and last time there. The staff were friendly, though.

27/11/2025: It's a shame. The place is welcoming, but the music is far too loud. I call that noise pollution! I asked them to turn the music down, but it seemed "impossible." A flimsy explanation. I won't be back.

15/05/2026: Fantastic welcome! And the only restaurant in the area that can accommodate a wheelchair user!!! Well done, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Delicious food. Perfect risotto and salmon.
