05/12/2025: Dinner was good. Breakfast was poor (no eggs, no cold cuts). Room was outdated.

10/10/2025: The rooms are quite worn out. The air conditioning doesn't work. The bathroom isn't really clean either. The hotel service is very poor. The staff is very unfriendly. If you have a complaint, they can only speak French, even though they used to speak English. The hotel smells musty. Unfortunately, we paid in advance. If I had said I'd pay tomorrow, I wouldn't have. We booked through Expedia and filed a complaint, but it's been going on for three weeks, so I'm definitely not happy with Expedia either. They need to do one thing with this hotel, and that's close it. You wouldn't want to be found dead in this hotel. If you're looking for a hotel, don't choose this one; please look elsewhere. This hotel doesn't deserve any more guests. And as you can see in the hotel's comment below, if I expect anything... We're renovating. It's a shame I don't have any photos. But whoever checks the rooms regularly does this person with their eyes closed. The air conditioning will be checked once a year because several guests are complaining about it. It didn't work. We tried to find a solution on the spot, but they were unwilling to do anything, and management was impossible to reach. It was just a disgusting room. Ugh. The inspectors should definitely visit. So, if you're looking for a hotel, please look elsewhere. You'll regret this hotel. Don't be tempted by the pool because it's freezing. And great, if they ask for payment, say you'll do it in the morning because then you'll have seen how terrible the hotel is, and you can refuse to pay. And the sad thing is, Expedia doesn't do anything about this complaint either. They say they'll get back to you, but you never hear anything back. We contacted them three times, and it's now been three months and we haven't heard anything.

19/11/2025: Avoid at all costs! The name of the place says it all: it's like the backstage of chaos there 😂. There are aggressive people who respect nothing, but apparently they're the "favorite customers," the "regulars" 🤔... anyway, it's a VIP atmosphere, like a Village Improbable Party. The bouncer is playing cowboy at the entrance... except he doesn't scare anyone, poor guy 🤠. The place is like a high school prom, but less organized. The DJ is useless; at one point, there's a technical problem, no sound for over 5 minutes... we were all in muted ASMR disco mode 🤣

07/09/2025: A security guard who thinks he's a thug Getting turned away two weekends in a row because you're not used to it, even though you've been back here plenty of times before. Shuts the door in your face so you don't have to argue, even though he has no reason to refuse us entry. Question yourself.

22/01/2026: I arrived with my family last weekend; there were seven of us at the table, and we had ordered, but that didn't prevent relatively quick and friendly service. Nothing was forgotten on our end. I highly recommend it!

04/01/2025: A mixed experience. The condition and cleanliness of the premises were acceptable, and the meal was generally satisfactory for the buffet price. However, several negative points marred the experience: dishes (such as spring rolls and samosas) were often empty and required waiting to be refilled. Furthermore, a waitress was quite intrusive, returning several times to move our children or question us about our family's arrival, despite our explanations. Finally, regarding a bottle of wine that was unavailable, we were offered a more expensive alternative without any gesture of goodwill. A few improvements in service would be appreciated.

24/01/2026: I ordered from McDonald's and was extremely disappointed. When I opened my soda, I discovered an insect inside the cup (see photo). This is simply unacceptable and disgusting. Hygiene standards are clearly not being followed. This poses a serious food safety issue and completely destroys any trust in the establishment. When you order food, you expect it to be clean and safe, at the very least. I am deeply shocked and disgusted by this experience. I expect a refund and, above all, serious measures to prevent this from happening again.

24/01/2026: I never, or rather very rarely, go to McDonald's. Today I received a very warm welcome. I'll be back 🤪

24/06/2025: I ordered only one, but two came. I thought it was a salad and an appetizer, but it was the waiter's mistake. I ate it, thinking it was a freebie. I ate it, so it can't be helped, but when they asked me if I wanted two, I said one, but they brought two and charged me for them. I'll never go there again. It's the worst.

17/01/2026: Extremely disappointing. We ate here recently and the experience was far from satisfactory. The service was slow and unfriendly. As for the food, the tortellini were barely cooked, frankly poorly executed—much better at home. Considering the prices, especially in a shopping center like La Part-Dieu where there are so many options, the value for money is poor. I do not recommend it.

15/01/2026: This Paul is getting worse and worse. The worst customer experience among the stores in Part-Dieu. The cashiers are completely clueless and clearly untrained or unsupported. Nine times out of ten, they mess up the order (takes one item out of three prepared by their colleague, gets the combo order wrong, corrects it by adding more, then the price is wrong because it's not the combo order that's applied, then you ask for it to be corrected and it's still wrong). Just this morning, I ordered a sandwich, drink, and dessert combo plus a brioche: she only took the sandwich and drink. I asked for the dessert and brioche to be added, and the total price was ridiculous. I asked for it to be corrected and paid the bill. She moved on to the next order without giving me a receipt. I asked for the receipt, and suddenly it was no longer available because she had moved on to another order. I'm fed up, I won't be going back there.

07/02/2026: During my visit to the McDonald’s Confluence on February 7, 2026, at 8:30 p.m., I observed several breaches of food safety procedures. In the kitchen, several crew members were not wearing hairnets. One crew member who came in from the counter had her hair partially tied back, without a hairnet. However, according to McDonald’s procedures, hairnets are mandatory at all production stations (kitchen, fry station, beverage station). Furthermore, a transition from the counter to the kitchen was made without any visible handwashing, despite the prior handling of non-food items. Having worked at McDonald’s, I am familiar with these procedures and their importance. They were not followed during this visit.

25/01/2026: We arrive, the floor is sticky...that sets the tone... The meal was served cold, and the best part? We see the staff having fun throwing fries at each other, which fall...and then they put them back in our order!! Next time I'm going across the street to the competition!

01/07/2025: Jolivet Bakery offers a good selection of breads and pastries, using fresh ingredients and excellent craftsmanship. The bread is nice and crisp, and the pastries are decent, although some could be lighter or more original. The service is friendly, but sometimes a little slow when it's busy. The location is pleasant, but could be a little warmer to make the experience more welcoming. Overall, a reliable bakery where you can find quality classics, even if you're not yet a firm favorite. Perfect for a quick stop or an everyday purchase.

15/08/2025: Run away, the welcome is horrible, the food is terrible since the owner stopped cooking. It's not a restaurant, but a country bar with all the local drunks yelling and laughing (after a while at the counter). Besides, the counter and the restaurant are in the same room; it's dirty and old, never painted. At one time, the food was good there, the terrace was welcoming. It's well and truly over, the owners don't care, are too old, and seem unwilling to close!

06/12/2025: Another takeaway order pickup with a box of 20 nuggets missing!! When it's time to pay, there are plenty of people around, but they can't even check the order… 15€ down the drain, bravo!

04/12/2025: Order C209 02, when you order a double burger, you don't want to end up with a single! Especially since it's full price!!

17/09/2024: Huge choice in this large Carrefour, a godsend. The shelves are always full and other world cultures are rather well represented with quite a few choices (Italy, Maghreb, Asia...). The checkouts are unfortunately rather slow with a huge number of people. The waiting time is extended whether in automatic or normal checkouts, which remains completely normal!

30/12/2023: 16€ pour 2 crêpes réchauffées et un chocolat chaud à l’eau. J’ai demandé un verre d’eau au moins 5 fois, je n’en ai jamais vu la couleur. Les serveurs ne sont pas aimables.

29/12/2023: Très déçus par le service expéditif et très froid: pas de serviettes, couverts remis à la main, serveuse très pressée..nous ne recommandons pas du tout!

03/09/2024: Arriving at 5:30 p.m. we are still in front of the terminal.. no one has yet taken the order yet no car behind us and only one in front of us. The best we complain about the wait and the hostess behind the microphone tells us to leave and doesn't want to take our order and asks her colleagues to call the municipal police so that we can leave the drive! Because we supposedly insulted her by complaining about the manager!! Amazing, I've never seen that and yet I've had a lot of McDonald's so back to the McDonald's in L'Arbresle too bad

02/09/2024: What a scandal this McDonald's.... at 12 p.m., 15 minutes parker to wait for an order which arrives with cold products!!! You're asking for sauces that don't exist in the bag!!! Bravo incompetents!!!!!
