What the law says Article L541-15-7 of the Environmental Code stipulates that commercial restaurants and establishments serving drinks for on-premises consumption must provide customers, upon request, with reusable or recyclable containers for taking home uneaten food or drinks. 2. Exceptions and limitations While the obligation is clear, there are some nuances: All-you-can-eat buffets: The law is less clear here, as the business model relies on on-premises consumption. Restaurants often prohibit taking home leftovers to prevent abuse, but they must remain vigilant about food waste. Hygiene: Restaurants can disclaim responsibility for food storage once the food has left the premises (for example, if the cold chain is broken). Beverages: This requirement also applies to beverages, except for those in returnable containers.

17/02/2026: It's always a real pleasure to return to this hotel with my family. The staff is excellent and very pleasant, and the rooms are always spotless. I absolutely loved this exceptional and spacious room with its magnificent sea view! A true escape! The hotel is very well located. I recommend having breakfast with this panoramic view, which you won't find in other hotels in Dieppe. I'm already thinking about our next visit to recharge. Thank you.

Breakfast overlooking the sea is incredibly charming, and the selection is varied, offering both sweet and savory options. 11/01/2026: Keep walking! This isn't a place of dignified service, it's a place of disdain... Imagine our surprise when the waitress came to lecture us aggressively, not even letting us get a word in edgewise, because we had dared to move the table 30cm to position the chair so that my wife and I could sit side-by-side. The restaurant was practically empty (just one other couple nearby), and this small adjustment didn't disrupt the restaurant's operations in the slightest. The words she hurled at us were extremely inappropriate: "You moved the table without our permission, that's unacceptable! You're not at home here, you're in our house! The customer isn't always right, you're being insolent, etc..." We were stunned by this barrage of insults directed at us for moving a table a few centimeters for greater comfort, without causing any disruption since there were no other customers around. Since we were clearly not welcome, we left without finishing our beers, so taken aback were we, but we didn't forget to pay: €15 for two 33cl beers... even in Paris it's cheaper. We rarely take the time to leave a negative review, but this is unprecedented. So yes, you're in your own establishment, but that doesn't excuse you from respecting your customers, without whom your restaurant would be empty, as it is today.

10/11/2025: A small, friendly neighborhood bar. Background music makes it easy to dance later in the evening. They have good cocktails and you can order tapas from "La Fée Gourmande" across the street.

01/12/2025: We ordered through Uber Eats. Once the order and payment were complete, I immediately noticed an error in the restaurant's address. I didn't have the option to cancel or modify the order through the app. So I called the restaurant. The person I spoke to told me it wouldn't be possible to cancel because they had too many orders and it would take too long to go to the kitchen and search using my name. Then the manager took the phone and tried to explain why my order couldn't be canceled. I confess I didn't understand any of the explanations. It was impossible to communicate with this person, who was clearly more frustrated by the situation than I was. We regret having experienced this ridiculous and unprofessional behavior.

10/03/2026: Reservation made for two people on March 7th at 8 PM. Friendly welcome, quick service. Ideal location near our hotel and facing the port. I ordered fries and mussels with Camembert cheese. Around 11 PM, I experienced severe stomach pains followed by diarrhea. After a difficult night, on Sunday morning I vomited three times, and had body aches and a headache. We had to leave our hotel earlier than planned to return to Paris. Four days later, I'm barely recovered. The doctor diagnosed food poisoning. A romantic weekend that turned into a nightmare.

Reaching the last window, no one downstairs was preparing my order, then a crew member came and asked for my order number because "I just got back on duty," and then parked me after 10 minutes… finally served at 9:10 PM. You shouldn't be hungry. It's a shame that when I got home I ended up with a double cheeseburger instead of a triple. Very disappointed.
