10/06/2026: Hello, Following our visit to Le Pinocchio restaurant in Lillebonne, we wanted to share our experience. Initially, we were curious to try this establishment, especially given the crowds we regularly saw outside. So, we decided to take the plunge and have lunch there. The welcome was warm and the setting pleasant. However, we were disappointed in several ways. When the restaurant is full, the acoustics are very poor: there's a lot of echo, and the conversations of the other diners become particularly loud, to the point that it was difficult to hear each other at our table. As for the food, we weren't convinced by the value for money. I ordered a warm goat cheese salad consisting of a few pieces of tomato, undressed green salad, and three small cheese toasts, the cheese on which was stingy and the toasts cold and hard. We also ordered mojitos that seemed to be made with mojito syrup, which was disappointing. Finally, the mozzarella Bolognese escalope lacked flavor and didn't particularly impress us, especially considering the price. Looking at the final bill, we felt that the quality and quantity of the food served did not justify the prices. It is therefore with regret that we left this experience disappointed.

Since Caroline started preparing her delicious dishes and cakes with carefully selected, high-quality ingredients, the weekend has become even more special. I love it! It's best to reserve a table to be sure of getting a spot, and kudos for supporting local producers – a true testament to human values.

18/05/2026: It's okay. An improvement for the tables for two would be welcome. We were seated between two and four people, separated by a small partition at table level. It's really not ideal. The food is decent. The service is good, friendly, and pleasant, but cleaning the neighbor's table with a spray cleaner on that small table without warning is very poor.

20/02/2026: First lunch at this well-regarded café-brasserie; I know this place and have stopped by for coffee from time to time. With the chef absent, the owner offered a simple set menu: a grilled steak with fries and ratatouille – simple but good, just like homemade. The staff was friendly and efficient, with little waiting between courses. We'll wait for the chef's return to try the full menu.

Degrading and passive-aggressive, I would have punched him if it weren't for the HUGE bouncer standing there. Anyway, if you go, be prepared not to be intimidated 🙄

Incredible terrace, fantastic staff, all services in one place, whether you want to enjoy an aperitif in the sun or savor a delicious daily special. 08/06/2026: We came on Sunday evening, June 7th, a family of three plus a baby. We received a warm welcome and chose our seats inside the restaurant. My husband and daughter ordered the skate wing with capers, while I chose the mussels marinière. Everything was delicious and generous. My mussels were piping hot throughout the casserole dish, though I found the bay leaf a bit too strong for my taste. The children's meal with nuggets (likely homemade) and fries delighted my 18-month-old daughter. Perhaps a simpler dessert like yogurt or applesauce would be a good idea for very young children, as babies should avoid desserts with uncooked eggs. The wine was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

26/05/2026: Not having found how to post a review for the restaurant, I'm posting it on the hotel's page. A beautiful house, tastefully and charmingly decorated, we dined in the veranda enjoying a superb sea view—an unforgettable moment. The menu is extensive but not overwhelming; the ingredients are seasonal, locally sourced, and fresh. There are a few original touches and flavors, traditional dishes, a vegetarian option, and a children's menu. There's something for everyone. The service is attentive, the dishes are tasty, well-presented, and well-portioned, except perhaps for the set menu/dish of the day, which, despite the €4 supplement, doesn't quite reach the quality of the other dishes on the menu, which are only slightly more expensive and better presented. Aside from this minor point, our dinner was delightful, and the evening was a great success. Reservations are highly recommended.
