28/08/2026: First time here and an excellent lunch. We'll definitely be back!

30/06/2026: What a delightful surprise this hidden gem was in a small Norman village! Thanks to a TV report, no less, we sought out this famous address, which I, despite being from the area, had never heard of. A very warm welcome, perfectly cooked meat and fries, and a refreshing strawberry ice cream dessert that came at the end of the heatwave. Reasonable value for money, comfortable terrace with plenty of space between tables. See you very soon!

07/06/2026: Convenient location, right across from the station exit. Approximately a 20-minute walk to popular attractions or a bus stop. Comfortable rooms.

17/06/2026: Good basic B&B with air-conditioning, good WiFi, and tasty breakfast included. Has a bar that also serves pizza in the evening. Other restaurants and a Carrefour nearby. Only concern was a lack of tea and coffee but found out later this was an extra cost option. Very pleased and will definitely consider chain for future French visits.

04/06/2026: I've booked at this B&B several times and honestly, I've never had any problems. The rooms are very nice and clean (they just need a small bin in the room because the one in the bathroom isn't big enough), the staff are always very kind and welcoming. The hotel is well located. No problems at all 🤗

04/10/2026: There were two of us and we appreciated the welcome, the service and the food with a great view of the sea.

03/10/2026: The wait was interminable, an hour before we were served. We waited for our beer, which they forgot about, and the meal wasn't great: the white fries weren't homemade at all, and the prawns were overcooked. The hamburger wasn't homemade either.

04/03/2026: The place is still as welcoming and intimate as ever. I don't know if it was a one-off problem in the kitchen, but 3 hours for a 5-course dinner, excluding aperitifs, slightly diminishes the enjoyment of the meal.

06/08/2026: We went there to eat with friends; the crepes were very good and there was a good selection. The back patio is very pleasant for enjoying the sun. I highly recommend it.

05/08/2026: The owner is super friendly. The small terrace at the back is lovely, and the salted caramel crepe is absolutely delicious!

01/11/2026: A very bad evening experience. The waiter spent his time loudly and aggressively flirting with two young women at an adjacent table from the counter. His mother, the head chef, came out of the kitchen to promote her son, also from the counter, very loudly and without regard for the rest of the dining room. Avoid this restaurant for its disrespectful atmosphere and poor decor.

28/10/2026: I visit here atleast once a week, I feel the same as home food with restaurant touch . The food is prepared according to your requirements as I like a bit spicier Staff is so friendly that you can feel home I would suggest people to go here and try Most probably I have tried all the chicken dish *Lamb dishes are remaining to try 😂*

17/08/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs!!! The waitress was haughty and unpleasant, completely failing to greet customers, despite this being a fundamental aspect of the job. This kind of behavior is all the more regrettable in a restaurant where a warm welcome and quality service should be integral to the experience. We can understand a busy schedule or a few mistakes, but that in no way excuses such an unprofessional attitude towards customers. We left with a very bad impression and don't plan on returning.

16/10/2026: This restaurant is a little gem, offering excellent value for money. The food is delicious, the service is quick, and the waitress is incredibly kind. This is our third time at Calypso, and it certainly won't be our last. Until next time!

15/10/2026: Unfriendly service – patronizing right from the start! The food was mediocre! Cold cappuccino! Arrogant waitress – in a touristy seaside resort – sorry my French isn't perfect – we were treated like little children! We eat out every day all over the world – I've rarely encountered such bad, arrogant service! The food was average and overpriced! The oysters were fresh, but not consistently Category 3! The waitress actually spoke good English – which isn't a requirement… we manage somehow in every country… but she insisted on lecturing us in French! We didn't leave a tip – there are better and much friendlier restaurants on the street! If you find "tourists" (well-paying guests) annoying, just put a sign outside saying "For French only" 😉… Perhaps you'll visit us in Berlin sometime – let's see how Madame feels in a restaurant when someone approaches her like that… We didn't feel comfortable – what a shame! Terrible service for such a small amount of food! Salmon with bread - unimaginative Oysters (6 pieces, not category 3) Mussels Saffron scallops (very little) 2 x 2 house wines 2 cold cappuccinos 126 Euros 🥴🙄🙈🤣 Outrageous and then unfriendly too 👎
