Incredible terrace, fantastic staff, all services in one place, whether you want to enjoy an aperitif in the sun or savor a delicious daily special. 18/03/2026: I'm Corentin. Just a visitor in Rouen After my business meeting. A friendly welcome, they didn't refuse the drinks I ordered that afternoon at this bar. The younger waiter was very nice. Where I naturally wanted to tip them near the Game Boy, paying by card. Looking for a hotel nearby. They were able to guide me and give me some information. Perfect. I found the hotel. Except that when I came back to their bar, I was a little hungry, and they were kind enough to let me in again. But... but... after paying for my cover charge plus the beer, unfortunately, they refused to serve me again. I found that unacceptable. Besides, I wasn't drunk at all. In fact, almost everyone was drunk that summer, I'd say about 50 or 60% of the clientele. They tell me, "Oh, but it's for your safety." Blah blah blah. Seriously, I can tell you there's a bar called "The Bar of Yesteryear." They're the complete opposite of you. My colleagues and I. Or me, as a loner. I can buy several pints right up until closing time. They still agree to serve me. And that's that. Whereas you. I'm from another city. You judge the person you meet negatively. Well done. And frankly, their ridiculous safety measures are a joke. Everyone was drinking alcohol. By Friday, everyone was drunk. And of course, they didn't give a damn about their safety. It's not because I'm from another city. They absolutely had to judge me and, above all, refuse me entry. Besides, I'd been walking a lot, and I was sobering up. Generally speaking, they don't have the right to let someone in, especially if they're not walking straight or if they've had a lot of alcohol. But this time they frustrated me. I could speak normally, I wasn't stuttering, I was walking, I was standing still. Their judgment was regrettable and unacceptable. Life is so imperfect sometimes that it's truly baffling. I simply wanted to have an unforgettable Friday in Rouen. And unfortunately, they must have spread the word around Place Jeanne d'Arc to get me refused entry to all the bars, even though I wasn't drunk at all. 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤 I find this really very unfortunate. I thought the people of Rouen were very welcoming. Well, not at all. On top of that, I'm going to have to leave another review on TripAdvisor about one of the bars that refused me service even though I was a cheerful, smiling early riser. It's truly unacceptable. And all I wanted was a coffee. Well, where I live, I can assure you that even in the morning, bars will serve you beer. Serves you right. No matter what you order, they'll serve you. No matter who you are. They'll serve you. Anyway, I'll still come back to Rouen. But it will be for something else. They have absolutely no idea who they're dealing with.

20/04/2026: Lunch on April 19th with my family (3 children). This restaurant is a regular stop on our holiday trips to Normandy. The welcome was very pleasant, and the service was friendly. The dishes were served quickly and efficiently. Things went downhill when it came time to pay the bill with the manager, who has already been mentioned in other reviews… I have a large family card, and every time I go to a Buffalo Grill, two out of three children's meals are free… except this time, this gentleman removed one and informed me that there was still a maximum per bill. I told him that I had always received two free meals without question and that this was the first time I had been refused this offer. He contemptuously informed me of a supposed rule change effective January 1st, 2026, but without any proof. After checking the large family website, I showed him that this was false. After five minutes of negotiation, he finally refunded me for one children's meal. It's a shame to lie and make the customer experience unpleasant for €5.50… I'm still giving it 3 stars because the server was very pleasant and efficient. I'm posting proof of the offer; we'll come back to see if things change 😉

13/04/2026: Discovered this restaurant today. A very pleasant surprise. Plenty of vegetarian options. Delicious and inexpensive. Small terrace. Dogs not allowed inside.

20/02/2026: A magnificent, welcoming place with a very creative chef. Since Caroline started preparing her delicious dishes and cakes with carefully selected, high-quality ingredients, the weekend has become even more special. I love it! It's best to reserve a table to be sure of getting a spot, and kudos for supporting local producers – a true testament to human values.

30/11/2025: A pleasant, sunny place with excellent food and a very pleasant and professional waitress. However, it's very noisy and disruptive, especially when the owners are arguing. The owner, during the argument with her husband, is very vulgar, which spoils the relaxing atmosphere. She doesn't say goodbye, even though the owner does. The pool table is nice, but having it in the middle of the room isn't ideal.

22/03/2026: Every time I come, I'm treated poorly. This will be my last time here. Today we waited over 15 minutes for takeaway coffees even though there were barely 10 customers on the terrace and only 4 staff members... The girls preparing the coffee are unpleasant; you don't feel welcome. It's expensive and not great. That said, thank you to the very friendly, smiling waiter who was very apologetic and attentive.

22/03/2026: It was a Sunday, we wanted to have a drink and a pastry, but they kicked us out simply because we weren't having brunch. Their attitude was unacceptable.
