19/07/2026: Okay, we love your pizzas with our friends (we regularly order them for role-playing games like Stranger Things), the atmosphere is pretty pleasant (except for one time when the server was rather insistent about reminding us we were late), the service is usually on time (except once when one of our pizzas was swapped and we had to wait 15 minutes for it to be remade), and the pizzas are good value for money. (However, we've had stomach aches the next day several times, but I couldn't say if it's from the excitement of role-playing or the quality of the pizza ingredients). I still recommend it because, apart from these minor issues, we've rarely been disappointed!

20/06/2026: My favorite in the area. Good value for money, although I would have gladly paid more for real bacon and better cheese. Otherwise, the service was quick and excellent.

11/09/2026: Arrived at 7:20 pm and already closed, normally closing time is 7:30 pm, not customer-friendly.

11/08/2026: We had a delicious meal here and were served kindly by a sweet lady who spoke very good English, which was lovely! We had the set menu twice (without dessert); the flavors were good. It was really delicious; we recommend this restaurant. A very small downside: the garlic naan had practically no garlic in it :-)

08/05/2026: So yes!!!! I have a sweet tooth!!! And no, I don't eat lunch without bread!!!! It can ruin my meal, and despite what the waitress told me...with questionable tact...I should eat the rice as if it were bread...well, no... I remembered that a sausage rougail was a hearty, generous dish...at least in Reunion Island, but apparently not on this island...you'll find more pots and bowls on your plate than rougail...which is a shame because it's very well cooked...so if you're hungry like I was...go somewhere else...change islands.

20/01/2026: Unjustified price of €120 for a 4-star hotel. The room was large and clean, but ugly. Outdated furniture. Bathroom in need of repair... All-you-can-eat breakfast for €20. Given the limited selection, we opted for the express breakfast at €9.50, served by the staff: we received a miserable sliver of baguette, not even fresh (the only choice offered was one pastry or one piece of baguette), a ridiculously tiny Lilliputian coffee, one yogurt, jam, butter, and honey, all served in equally microscopic quantities. The gluten-free bread offered was industrially produced and vacuum-packed, so I took the very dense baguette instead... Since we didn't order the buffet, we were told to take a seat and had to wait 15 minutes to be served. We are used to traveling, whether in 2-star or 4-star hotels. This Novotel is far inferior to all the B&Bs we've stayed at, which are much cheaper and have very decent breakfasts. When we returned the keys, they didn't even ask if we were satisfied with the service. They simply don't care, because it's a forced sale, given their prime location near the Zénith concert hall. In short, don't waste your money, and avoid it, especially the breakfast, because even at €9.50, it's a rip-off. You'll get better for the same price at a B&B or other hotels right next door, which are just as well located. There's absolutely no added value compared to a 4-star hotel. Luckily, we avoided the exorbitant restaurant prices the day before; otherwise, it would have been a terrible stay.

21/12/2025: Excellent location and lovely surroundings. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the food is delicious. Breakfast is superb, always served with a smile and excellent service by Catherine and Marie-Laure. My husband and I always enjoy staying here for work when we come to Normandy.

26/08/2026: The restaurant has a traditional Italian vibe with an old pizza oven. I tried pepperoni it was amazing, and the owner is sooo kind. Highly recommend!

15/08/2026: The staff need to roll up their sleeves!! No motivation whatsoever, the wait was far too long for a fast food place. The fries were cold and undercooked. The menu was truly awful… The toilets were disgusting; we turned around and left!

21/05/2026: Second visit. Excellent food, in line with the prices. The service was a little slow, especially with the first course, but we weren't in a hurry.

21/05/2026: I loved almost everything about my stay at the Novotel Le Havre. The staff was welcoming and always ready to meet my needs. The room was clean and the room service was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was really good with a varied selection. My only issue was the room temperature, as there were no windows (I had a suite, with a door opening onto a balcony in the living area). It was 25°C in the room (I had a thermometer), much too hot to sleep. Around 19°C is recommended for a good night's sleep. I was informed that management doesn't turn on the air conditioning until the end of May. The staff, who unfortunately had no control over turning the air conditioning on, lent me a fan, which allowed me to cool the room when I was out by leaving the balcony door open, but I had to close it at night because of the noise from the street.

17/05/2026: Despite friendly staff, a good location, and comfortable bedding, we had a terrible night due to the stifling heat in the room. Contrary to what is stated on the hotel's information sheet, the air conditioning is completely unavailable (it was turned off because it wasn't hot enough outside, according to the receptionist), and the heat in the rooms is almost unbearable. Not what you'd expect from a 4-star Novotel in this respect.

26/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes are delicious, and the value for money is excellent. The staff is very pleasant, welcoming, and attentive. We will gladly return and recommend this establishment without hesitation!

21/09/2025: It was a wonderful experience with French cuisine. The dishes were delicious and very reasonably priced. The sauces, in particular, danced harmoniously in the mouth.

18/09/2025: Brilliant place but get there for opening time otherwise you might not get a table. The service was excellent, the food brilliant as they only have a set menu but don't let that put you off going, you will not be disappointed. The only thing is that serve wine by the glass and not as most restaurants in a piche or caraf.
