12/03/2026: Here's our experience of an evening spent at Gruppi. The room is small with very busy and poorly laid-out decor. As a result, once we'd contorted ourselves to find a seat, we were stuck at tables that were too small and cramped by the table legs. There was no drinks menu, so no prices were displayed! As for the "food," it's hard to imagine anything worse: messy presentation, (industrial) sauce sold as an extra, and gargantuan portions that were difficult to finish, leaving no room for dessert. We won't be going back.

06/02/2026: After our seaside getaway, we headed to the Haut-Var region, and what a wonderful place it was! The rooms were spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with high-quality bedding. The Provençal decor adds a lot of charm and contributes to the hotel's warm atmosphere.

20/12/2025: The restaurant at La Bastide du Calalou is a true success. Refined cuisine with Provençal flavors, fresh and local produce, and beautifully presented dishes. An excellent restaurant to discover during a stay in the Verdon.

21/11/2025: I stopped by for a light lunch and received a very warm welcome and generous portions. Everything was delicious (leek risotto with scallops and a gourmet coffee with artisanal products), and the owners were very friendly. I highly recommend it.

No surprise, they still love it just as much, and even I, who's not easy to please, found it excellent.... The service is always top-notch and very friendly, but a special mention to the chef. 25/02/2026: A perfect moment! My wife and I received a very warm welcome for lunch. The food is authentic and generous: the homemade cordon bleu and fries were excellent, and the andouillette sausage was a real treat, a pleasure I hadn't missed in a long time. All this for a very reasonable price (€44 for two, including aperitifs and coffee). A big thank you for the warm welcome; we will definitely be back!
