23/08/2026: The Pipo Pizza truck in La Garde Freinet has been closed for several weeks. There is no information about a reopening date or whether it will close permanently. There is no information on the answering machine. It's a shame because the takeaway pizzas were excellent.

13/07/2026: A bit of a disappointment. The whisky was served in a cognac glass with no snacks or accompaniments! The round table was too small for two people, too complicated. The service was average and lacked experience. The escalope was overcooked and dry, the pasta was medium-cooked, and the so-called tomato sauce was nonexistent. We asked for mustard and received two small sticks. The pizza was nothing special, and the duck was underwhelming. For a new opening, it's barely adequate for tourists; as a local, I don't think I'll be going back. What a shame. (Photo showing the beginning and end of the meal)

13/09/2026: A meeting was arranged here at lunchtime; I had no choice, otherwise I would have vetoed it. I said I'd already eaten and ordered a coffee. I couldn't help but casually wander around, checking the hygiene of the counter (and behind it, the toilets, the dining area... nothing's changed 😯). I used to work here for Ms. Olivar C. a few years ago, a nightmare, like what's happening upstairs in the kitchen? The floor above the toilets, on the left. I preferred to leave back then, disgusted by the rats and cockroaches everywhere in the storage areas. Plus the 19-year-old hostesses and the boss who runs this place... well, I wondered what I was still doing here 🤦‍♀️

23/08/2026: We came last night with my wife and a friend. The beginning of the evening went very well: Ivan, the first waiter who took care of us, was absolutely perfect—welcoming, professional, and very pleasant. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined at the end of the evening by the intervention of a second waiter, who asked us to get up and leave the establishment in a particularly unpleasant and disrespectful tone. It's a shame to spoil Ivan's remarkable work with such a lack of manners. We won't be returning.

29/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very good pizzeria, ideally located opposite the port. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The pizzas are excellent, with a light and flavorful crust. A real treat! I highly recommend this place; we had a wonderful time as a family.

11/09/2026: i ordered the porc wonton soup, and there are some things that look like little prawns inside?? a lot too! i checked the ingredients list and they are not listed, i am incredibly disgusted as i don’t know what they are and i already ate a big part of the meal. do not order i guess.

25/05/2026: A very pleasant weekend, perfect golf course, spacious room, large indoor pool, but the spa and jacuzzi area is very small (maximum 2 people). Another drawback was the noise caused by people leaving a wedding reception in a nearby hall, talking and laughing loudly without any regard for whether they were disturbing the sleep of guests in the rooms above the hotel terrace. Indeed, no employee did anything to stop it.

25/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at the Hotel La Frégate. Everything was perfect for a relaxing stay: a warm welcome, a pleasant setting, and an excellent breakfast. We also enjoyed a couples massage with Christine and Laura, who were exceptional, professional, attentive, and incredibly gentle. Thank you to the entire team for your hospitality; we will return with great pleasure and without hesitation.

08/09/2026: I tried the apple turnover and apple tart, and they were really not good... Okay, it's gluten-free, probably organic, with carefully selected ingredients... but the pastry of the turnover is really bad. It's neither flaky nor delicious, and the pastry is a bit sticky. This is a bit of a problem with concepts that stray from traditional bakeries.

08/09/2026: Absolutely loved it! Excellent place! Passing through the area with my partner and our little one, we stopped for a bite to eat. You are welcomed with exceptional kindness. We met two genuinely kind, gentle, and above all, understanding people. Our little one, quite tired from his day, was rather restless. After ordering, we asked if it was possible to get takeout instead of eating in, explaining the situation. This was absolutely no problem at all, and thank you so much for that.

14/08/2026: A newly opened restaurant that's definitely worth a visit! 🍽️ The dishes are simple, but oh my goodness... they're delicious! The ingredients are top-notch, fresh, and high-quality, including a market gardener who works directly with the restaurant. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the expertise behind every plate. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. Unpretentious, generous, and truly flavorful cuisine. A wonderful discovery, and definitely a place we can't wait to return to! Congratulations on the opening, and long live this great restaurant! 👏

07/09/2026: The saleswoman was really unfriendly, and the ice cream had no vanilla flavor at all, more like it tasted like it came from the freezer.

28/09/2026: On Saturday, September 26th, around 3 p.m., we went to McDonald's for a quick bite. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. When we went to pay at the register, a young employee dropped the tray she was preparing. To lighten the mood, we simply told her, "That's done." She then made fun of my husband, which we found completely inappropriate. About twenty minutes later, our order was still being prepared. The ice creams had been made well before the rest of the meal and were completely melted. While putting them in the bag, the employee spilled some on herself. So I politely asked her if it would be possible to replace the ice creams. She threw them in the trash, smeared it all over the wall, then went to the back of the restaurant laughing before coming back into the dining area. In the end, she didn't even finish our order. I had to ask another employee to take care of our orders. When we arrived, a cake was missing, and the bag was so full of ice cream it was about to burst. What also disappointed me was that no one apologized for the situation. The employee even had the nerve to tell me she should have finished her shift an hour ago, when I simply explained that her behavior was unprofessional and that she needed to do her job properly. The manager was present and witnessed the situation without intervening, which is even more disappointing. I'm really not one to complain, but this was a particularly disappointing experience. I even regret not asking for a refund. This McDonald's left a very bad taste in our mouths, both because of the employee's behavior and the manager's lack of response.
