30/07/2024: We arrived with 12 people. Fast service despite the number of orders. Rare for a snack where there are only two of them. The quantity is really great. The quality of the products is truly excellent. The value for money is really there. I highly recommend anyone passing through the area to stop for a little treat. 01/09/2024: A great time, very attentive staff and super available for the children. really much sympathy. Difficult to choose because the menu is so tempting. In any case, we all had a great time. The toilets are very clean, but a little high for children (disabled toilet). Fast, efficient, so good and super accessible!!! 12/09/2024: New management of reservations, now when the restaurant is empty, you will be stuck 5cm from another table. You're having dinner with complete strangers.....ridiculous.

26/09/2024: Second experience in this restaurant and the last. A month ago the dish served was cold and poorly cooked…. This can happen in the middle of the summer, no excuses from management. Today, 09/26/24, I ordered a red martini, it was served to me extremely diluted, pink in color and tasteless. I let the waiter know….I’m still waiting for his response. Obviously I believe that this establishment takes tourists for pigeons to be plucked! It’s a shame the town of Sanary deserves much better!

15/09/2024: I have wanted to visit here for a very long time, but I was massively disappointed! The beach is gorgeous, not special.....a beach with sand and clear waters. The hut we rented for €159 was a nice touch but wasn't needed if you only wanted sunbeds. Drinks were expensive! Eating at Club 55 was the worst meal I've EVER had! Mcdonalds, I feel, was better than this! We ordered mussels and chips and courgette fritters. We did not get the mussels at first. My fritters and chips came to the table. The chips were dark brown, burnt and cold. The fritters were soggy and cold. We asked about our mussels and they said ok. We asked again and they said ok again. The 3rd time we asked, the waitress told us we never ordered them. The mussels arrived, and they were tiny! It felt we were on a service lunch, where they wanted to cram you all in and get you out! We left very disappointed and felt the staff were talking about us! The best part of my day was being on the beach with my husband. Would not return to club 55, but there are more beach clubs we would try next time! Not worth the hype!

08/09/2024: Le Club 55 is a must if you never been, but food quality during the last two years has been disappointing, which is a pity. Als some infrastructure needs a renewal , like the tents in the restaurant area. I really hope the owners have the view and resources to improve what is needed to keep this classic place up and running for many many years.

24/08/2024: One star is already way too generous. A den of thugs, the music groups are extremely bad and politically oriented, which makes the situation embarrassing and oppressive. Go your way. Go to Luma.

08/09/2024: All in all a disappointing experience! 1. No one likes to be ripped off, no matter how much money you might have. Having a photographer going through, disturbing us during lunch to take a photo, might be a cute idea if they do it for their social media or hand out the photos as a nice memory to the guests. But later on trying to sell a digital copy of said photo for 50€ to us is beyond ridiculous. Same applies to their valet parking trick for which they charge 20€. First you pay 15€ to get into the parking lot anyway. It is a big self parking lot. Following the signs to get to Bagatelle, there was a guy waving at us, making it seem like we have to give him the car. That was the valet of Bagatelle who then parked the car a meter further. It wasn’t a busy day so the whole lot was empty anyway - also straight at the entrance. We could have done the parking ourselves. Picking up the car he just gave us the key, didn’t drive it to the entrance - which also wasn’t really necessary as it was parked close by. But charging 20€ for that is ridiculous. 2. There was no vibe when we were there on a Monday for the 12.30pm seating. If you want music and a vibe make sure to go for the second seating and go on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. It was a bit disappointing. 3. There is no proper temperature control. It was very difficult to enjoy the lunch because of the heat. Bagatelle is shielded off by some sand dune. Because of that you don’t have any sea view. You might as well be sitting in a courtyard in St Tropez town. Because of the dune and building surrounding the restaurant space there is no air flow. It was extremely stuffy. There are no ceiling fans. There is no water mist system - like they have at the Dior Cafe for instance. Of course no outdoor AC either. Why they don’t even provide cheap paper fans remains another question. That said, the food was great- of course expensive, but great. And the staff was friendly and forthcoming. That’s why they get the two remaining stars ⭐️ Won’t return.

06/09/2024: To start off, we had a reservation at 1:30 PM. We were running a little late because we were driving from Cannes. When we arrive, the host and the front told us sorry but we cannot sit you at any tables. We are all full we can only sit you at lounge area. We told her we did not want to sit at the lounge area that we wanted to sit in a regular table. We asked her are you sure that there’s no tables available. She got very nasty with us and told us we are disrespectful for coming late and that was rude of us to come 45 minutes late to their establishment. And that she should not sit us because we are late. She was very, very nasty. I honestly could not believe it. Finally, we asked to speak to a manager, and the manager sat us at a table that she “didn’t have”. Very nasty host. We ended up sitting down, on a Thursday The food was good and drinks were good. Our service was very good. The waitress was very nice. You see pictures of the atmosphere online as fun and loud but you have to make sure you go at a certain time. You have to go around 4 PM if you want loud music and a fun environment.

08/09/2024: 6 years ago I left this review: Fair value for money, fast and efficient service. Passage on 08/07/24: I have the impression that the quality has dropped a little and the prices have increased a little. In short, I still had a pleasant time but the products seemed of lower quality to me. No doubt the effect of inflation or a fortuitous war 😅🥳

16/08/2024: Steak tartare has almost no seasoning. Lots of minced meat with a little chives. And the frozen fries…. Fairly fast service but the quality of the food for the fairly high price really leaves something to be desired.
