19/05/2026: We had a drink on the terrace this afternoon. The waiter was incredibly unpleasant, grumbling and swearing under his breath in front of the customers! He should change careers immediately! These businesses are resting on their laurels in a beautiful location and don't make any effort to work because they have a guaranteed clientele! Absolutely no respect for the customer! Go have a drink somewhere else without hesitation!

16/05/2026: I don't usually write negative reviews, but this is a disaster! The service was appalling, the coffee absolutely disgusting, and this restaurant is exploiting the magnificent view of Bormes-les-Mimosas to charge exorbitant prices considering the poor quality of their food. I beg you, avoid this place; don't give a single penny to this malicious and unprofessional team!

09/02/2026: As a regular customer, until yesterday I was showing my children around to enjoy shopping in peace and quiet and having a decent hot meal. On the first floor, to get to the second floor, someone called out to me, "Madam, where are you going?" as if I didn't know where I was going (I'm Black) with three mixed-race children. I told him I was going to the restaurant, and he said there were no seats available. "A security guard told me there were no seats," he said. It's ridiculous! Is this the restaurant reception to tell me that? I insisted and went in anyway. Once there, they immediately told me there were no seats without even checking. I insisted and stayed. A French couple (white, also without a reservation) arrived, which is strange because there was space for them. I stayed and insisted that we would also separate and eat separately from them. Strangely, a reservation was cancelled after a manager came to scrutinize us and speak to me before finally giving his approval for us to stay. It was 2:30 PM, and we waited an hour for our food. The children only ate a piece of bread and drank water. No ice was offered to chill my white wine. I was told there was only one person in the kitchen after 2 PM, so the wait would be long. The restaurant emptied out at 3:30 PM, and the food finally arrived. My dish was lukewarm, almost cold, and the children's fries were cold and dry. I didn't say anything, paid my bill, and we left, still hungry. My children ended up nibbling on their meat without touching the fries. I find it disrespectful of the employee who greets customers and the management to discriminate based on the type of clientele and the service process. Serving leftover cold fries mixed with a few hot ones is unacceptable. I will return, and always with my children, as others do, and I will make a reservation under a different name to avoid being seated at the back. You didn't scare me away and you weren't going to stop me from coming back. When I come with my white partner, we've never been subjected to this kind of treatment from the first floor, let alone made to wait to be served. I wouldn't wish this kind of treatment (discrimination) on anyone.

08/07/2026: I came to collect a Mondial Relay parcel, the locker is empty.

16/06/2026: I went to have coffee with my mother-in-law and my wife. They took our order, we paid, and then made us wait at least 10 minutes for three coffees. The worst part is that she takes coffee cups right in front of me, washes them by hand at the tap, gives them a quick rinse, and then serves us the coffee. When we ask for sugar, she tells me they don't have any more. The woman with the curly hair and glasses is very unpleasant. If she's fed up, she should change jobs altogether. It's the customers who bring back other people's cups to the bar; it's kind of her, but sorry, it's not her. I'm really disgusted with this place. Go somewhere else, it's better. I advise you, but everyone does what they want. Have a good day everyone.

10/09/2026: The ice cream is average, but it's definitely not as cold as the waitresses. Avoid it; there are other ice cream shops right next door.

22/07/2026: I've been ordering from Larry's La Valette for four years. After asking the owner if it would be possible to have a delivery a few minutes later than their usual delivery time for a "relatively" large order (8 to 10 pizzas maximum) one evening, I was told it was possible, provided I gave them a few days' notice and was flexible with the delivery time, which I agreed to. Three days before the event, I went to the restaurant to pay in advance and arrange everything. I was greeted by the other owner, who categorically refused the order, leaving me without a solution despite having received prior approval. There's a complete lack of consideration, and the quality is inconsistent. I used to recommend this establishment, but I no longer do.

14/09/2026: The welcome, the service, the food—everything delighted us. High-quality products. Beautifully presented dishes at a very attractive price. Thank you, we had a wonderful time.

26/08/2026: WARNING, very high risk of food poisoning... rodent feces found under the tables in the main room. Since we were with small children, we politely said we would leave (before even ordering or ordering the mains) when a young man and an elderly lady rudely attacked us verbally and with violent and intimidating attitudes without any mercy in front of the frightened children, almost trying to physically restrain us, so much so that, frightened, we took the opportunity to leave the place amidst shouting and throwing objects. Be very careful!

30/08/2026: Unpleasant staff. Overcooked, dry, and burnt pizzas. 1 star because it's impossible to give 0.

16/08/2026: It's a disgrace. This has happened several times now, even with very few customers, and the wait has been unbearable... There was only one person at the till serving customers at a 6-meter-long counter. My complaint was completely ignored. This morning it was even worse... 10 customers and only one person serving them. And I made a mistake, it's actually a 12-meter counter with the cakes and sandwiches opposite... not 6 meters...

27/02/2026: No taste, no feeling. Broken toilet flush, impossible to flush, no hygiene whatsoever. A restaurant to definitely avoid!

10/09/2026: Where to begin, the worst part, I think: The waiter drinks from every glass of white wine he puts on his tray. At first, he drank through a straw, but as time went on, he ended up drinking directly from the glasses. We went there for a drink and witnessed this horror of a waiter, a bald man. I'm giving it one star because you can't give zero. There's so much more to say, but run away!!

04/09/2026: Be aware that the waiters don't have menus and charge prices by eye... 16 euros for two small beers is a bit much....

23/08/2026: We were just stopping by with friends before heading to the Verdon Gorge. We won't be back. The café terrace was dirty, the tables weren't swept, and most importantly, never use their toilets. The place is filthy with a terrible smell. We'll go to a different café next time we're in the area.

23/08/2026: After visiting this beautiful Provençal market, my friends and I sat down for a drink. We went to the restroom, and it was absolutely horrific. Traces of old urine everywhere, filth, and cobwebs. The smell was awful; we had to cover our noses with tissues to avoid breathing it in. This doesn't bode well for the kitchen, which, by the way, looks very cluttered. The owner came out of the restroom without washing his hands and went behind the bar to serve customers, so he was handling the glasses quite a bit... I don't understand why, with all the similar complaints, he hasn't done anything about it.

27/08/2026: We had a wonderful meal. Homemade food. The John Dory was melt-in-your-mouth tender, a delight. Homemade potatoes, good and very generous hamburger meat. The homemade tiramisu was excellent.

26/08/2026: I asked for my 4-year-old son to use the restroom. The owner, I suppose, asked me for €1. I don't think that's very nice for a child. Avoid this place.

19/04/2026: Tourist trap... a real shame because the location is nice. After 11 am, they stopped serving coffee... I settled for a so-called "naturally brewed iced tea" which was attractively served in a tea press with a few tea leaves to create the illusion, but when you looked at the bottom, it was simply syrup, all for €5.50. The smoothie, meanwhile, had no taste, certainly not made with ripe strawberries. Moreover, the music was very loud for 11 am 😑 The only consolation: the waiter was smiling and friendly.

12/01/2026: I really enjoyed it. There was a waiter there too, I think his name was Akram. I don't remember if he still works there, but he was really nice.

02/09/2026: We sat inside for a coffee. Orders are taken at the table, and they tell you to stay seated. We waited, but no one ever came. They set up tables but don't have the staff to handle the demand. Avoid this place.

02/09/2026: Chaotic! We waited at least 30 minutes before getting our menus (we saw two tables leave without being served). A young, inexperienced waiter was the only one serving. My milkshake was poorly made (the ice cream scoop was floating in the milk). A shame, because the ingredients were good quality.
