03/10/2026: Discovered this place. Despite the gloomy weather, the atmosphere was very pleasant. The meal was delicious, the goujonette salad, the frogs' legs, the chicken... Everything was excellent. A special mention for the young waitress who was very professional. We'll definitely be back soon! 😋

17/10/2026: I came to eat at this restaurant with my family today and we were very satisfied. I had beef with a sauce whose name I can't remember, my mother had shrimp curry, and we also had chicken spring rolls, either Thai or Vietnamese style, and they were delicious. The dishes and sauces were truly delicious, all delicately infused with either ginger or lemongrass—it was really very good. For dessert, I had a scoop of coconut ice cream, which was delicious with a little piece of caramel. I just want to come back; it was very good.

16/06/2026: Great stay in a quiet and relaxing area. Nice and secluded parking, rooms were large and comfortable. The pool was amazing to relax by. The only issue was we stayed a Sunday and Monday evening and the restaurant is closed and it was extremely limited to find other dining options. We would have liked to try the restaurant, maybe next time! The management spoke English and was very kind. He helped us and was always smiling! Breakfast was huge more than you can eat! Coffee was great and the river overlook is stunning. Great stay!

25/05/2026: They've become a disgrace to the profession. We were already poorly treated, and now they don't even work on Sundays and holidays... No deferral of charges or assistance for this kind of "professional" who's just following in their father's footsteps. Give work to people who are motivated and deserving; there are plenty of good places nearby.

15/10/2026: An excellent place and the pizzas are delicious!

13/10/2026: No experience whatsoever. After a 1.5-hour wait, no pizza arrived. The young waiter was rude and arrogant, deserving of being reprimanded by the manager, but there was no reaction.

02/10/2026: We came last night with colleagues, and the waiter with the butterfly tattoo on his neck was very helpful, smiling, and attentive! There were 12 of us, but the service was quick! Thank you very much for your hospitality.

16/09/2026: In the bistro category, offering excellent value for money, I give it 5 stars! They don't promise a grand evening, but good food and drinks. Plus, the restaurant has an impressive number of seats and is located right on the ViaRhôna cycle route. When we were there, the daily special was sold out, but no problem, they prepared four delicious dishes for us at the price of the daily special. At lunchtime, all the local artisans come here, which is a sign of both quality and value. No frills, just simple, good, and well-served. Thank you.

26/08/2026: A visit to Le Petit Brens was unfortunately a disappointing experience. The salad served had clearly not been properly sorted: many leaves were damaged, wilted, and some were frankly blackened. It's really unpleasant to find these kinds of leaves on your plate. A little sorting and care before serving would have been appreciated. It's a shame, because this kind of detail gives a bad overall impression of the meal. When you tell the waitress, I'll tell the kitchen, move along, nothing to see here.

23/07/2026: A fantastic find! A small, friendly brasserie with a warm atmosphere. The dishes are generous, well-prepared, and the service is pleasant. You feel right at home and have a wonderful time. I highly recommend Comptoir Auguste; I'll definitely be back!

29/08/2026: We've been to this restaurant twice in the last ten years, most recently three years ago. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined significantly. Our portion of Bresse chicken had considerably more bone than meat; while the chicken itself tasted good, the quality of the side dishes was rather average. There was no response to our complaint about the chicken, even though we clearly expressed our concerns in French. The price-performance ratio is therefore no longer acceptable. The excellent and friendly service and the wonderful ambiance with a direct view of the Brou Abbey can hardly compensate for the declining food quality. A real shame! Making a table reservation by email also failed. It only worked after a phone call. Incidentally, several new and supposedly quite good restaurants have opened on the same street in the last two to three years.

16/08/2026: The meal was very good, the portions generous. The welcome was warm and the service excellent. The only problem, and it's a significant one, is the lack of air conditioning; it's very hot and not comfortable for eating and relaxing.
