31/07/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! We had a fantastic time at La Ferme des Arcuires. The welcome was warm, familial, and filled with genuine kindness. We immediately felt at ease. The food was excellent, prepared with superb local ingredients. The specialty, Bresse poultry, was a real treat and fully deserved its reputation. Special mention also goes to the chocolate almond cake, absolutely delicious, which was the perfect ending to the meal. A huge thank you to the entire team for your hospitality and generosity. We will definitely be back!

02/06/2026: We had a magical stay at Domaine du Gouverneur, a place where everything seems to come together to offer a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in the heart of the Dombes region. Our escape began with a reserved tee time on the magnificent Breuil course, meticulously prepared for the Oval Green competition taking place the following day. The course was perfectly maintained. We are always captivated by the panoramic views of the Dombes ponds and the local flora and fauna. After this round, played in the sweltering heat, we enjoyed a relaxing moment on the clubhouse terrace, ideal for cooling off while taking in the view of the estate. We then discovered our superior room, spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Its generous size makes it an excellent choice for a stay of several days. The hotel staff were warm, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. The facilities are also of very high quality, including a lovely swimming pool, perfect for cooling off and enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings. As the sun set, we continued our experience at the estate's restaurant. We chose the Governor's Menu, and it was a truly wonderful discovery. The dishes, at once refined, generous, and beautifully presented, demonstrated genuine culinary mastery. A real treat from beginning to end. Finally, it was time to leave this magnificent estate surrounded by exceptional natural surroundings. Whether you're a golfer or simply looking for a peaceful place to recharge, Domaine du Gouverneur is a destination we recommend without hesitation. We will gladly return. 🌅🏌️‍♂️🍽️🏨

01/06/2026: Our first time at Domaine du Gouverneur made us want to return. Excellent value for money, from the food and activities to the rooms. A wonderful welcome; thank you and well done to Carla who accompanied and guided us throughout our stay, which was far too short! I highly recommend it.

07/08/2026: I ordered from this pizzeria with my father. We found the pizzas rather sparsely topped for the price, so we weren't convinced by the value for money. Furthermore, after placing our order by phone, we were given a different pizza than the one we had ordered, and we were charged for this more expensive pizza. Unfortunately, we didn't think to check at the time and only realized it too late. Based on this experience, I don't recommend this establishment. There are much better options elsewhere.

24/07/2026: The receptionist was extremely unpleasant and jaded; I can hardly describe her. She'd be better off in the back kitchen or in some other job that doesn't involve any interaction with people. The kebab meat was full of fat and inedible. I will never return.

13/07/2026: A very nice, clean place with lovely decor and plenty of space between the tables, allowing for better privacy. The staff is friendly, and the sandwiches and tacos are good. The homemade fries are a nice touch. The tiramisu was excellent! I highly recommend it!

23/06/2026: I booked the room through Booking.com. Small but clean room, poor ventilation in high temperatures. No drinks available when the restaurant is closed. Breakfast is self-service and basic: coffee, tea, juice, water, toast, and various pre-packaged jams. So, not a buffet in the traditional sense. Okay for the price, if you don't have high expectations based on the reviews, hence only 3 stars from me.

31/05/2026: A warm welcome, comfortable room, and excellent dinner. As for the much-maligned breakfast, the concept is perfect: available at any time without disturbing anyone. Bread, butter, honey, jam, coffee, and milk are all provided. It's obviously not the breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon only available from 8 a.m. on weekends, but it has the merit of being comprehensive.
