23/09/2026: Very disappointed with this restaurant. Given the good reviews, I expected a good establishment, and considering the menus and prices, a semi-gastronomic one, but no... Regarding the food, we ordered a starter to share, which arrived at the same time as my starter from the set menu, even though we had asked for it to come after. The shrimp were mediocre, clearly frozen. For the main course, a half-cooked andouillette sausage with frozen fries for a €39 set menu was disappointing. The "café gourmand" (a small coffee with a selection of small desserts) was an extra €2, which increased the bill, and the quality wasn't there. As for the service, there were many mistakes from the start: during the aperitif, then with the starters, and finally, at dessert, they offered us fries. In short, it needs a complete overhaul; the service was a disaster. I won't be returning. Very disappointed. In addition to the exorbitant bill, the meal wasn't worth the price. The only redeeming feature is the beautiful setting; there's nothing else to discover.

11/06/2026: The hotel is well located with parking, but I booked for 5 nights with breakfast included, as it advertised a tray service for early risers. Upon arrival, I was told no, no refund or gesture of goodwill, nothing.

19/10/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times, giving it a chance. But tonight, without any expectations, it was quite disappointing. The food was okay, although the fondue for four people was only one serving per person. Even though it was all-you-can-eat, we understood perfectly well that we had to stop serving ourselves. BUT THAT'S NOTHING COMPARED TO the service! It's shameful to welcome someone like that. The bartender/chef stared at us the whole time and laughed, with a nonchalant air, and gave us a dirty look when we asked for more fondue. The waiter... well... We understood perfectly well that we weren't welcome. Why? We felt like we were just a source of their business, given that there was nobody in the place.

08/10/2026: A fantastic experience at La Pataterie in Meximieux! A welcoming team, pleasant service, and a friendly atmosphere. The dishes are generous, beautifully presented, and truly delicious, with excellent value for money. A perfect place to spend quality time with family or friends. We received a very warm welcome and will gladly return! I highly recommend it 😊

30/06/2026: I ordered from their website to pick up my order at 8 pm. At 8 pm sharp, everything was ready, the order was complete, and the sushi was absolutely delicious. Very efficient and the staff was excellent.

28/06/2026: I'm giving it one star because I couldn't give it zero, but I arrived with my partner at 9:40 PM, and there was nothing left in the display case. Nothing in the store either. We'd just arrived and felt like we were bothering them. Kyky was cleaning and closing the kitchen. No greeting, no smile. We still grabbed a box of sushi that was lying around; we hope it's good.

10/09/2026: Overall, a very positive experience. The lady serving was very friendly, and most importantly, the pizza I ordered was delicious: thin crust, generous toppings, all for a reasonable price. I recommend it!

15/07/2026: Pizzas picked up on the road, fast service despite a busy evening, and excellent ingredients! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend it!

20/09/2026: We waited an hour for our pizzas, and they weren't served at the same time (there were five of us). There was absolutely no consideration for our four-year-old, who was served second to last. The knives were useless. The pizzas deserve no attention: the dough and the toppings are bland. You eat them because you're hungry, without any enjoyment.

26/06/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant today and had their daily lunch special. The service was very friendly, and despite the language barrier, they did their best to explain what the lunch menu included. There was a small appetizer buffet, a main course, cheese, and dessert—along with table water. The value for money was excellent, the food arrived quickly and was delicious. The service was top-notch. The other guests were locals. A very authentic experience! The parking lot is large. Highly recommended!

27/08/2026: A last-minute visit to the restaurant, Les Remparts, for lunch… The welcome and friendliness were based on humor throughout the service… A very pleasant and smiling person… so thank you! We ordered two Muraille menus (gazpacho, noodles, and crispy pork with vegetables)… We were quickly enveloped by a persistent smell of fish being served at the next table, accompanied by a multitude of bluebottle flies that lasted throughout the meal… The gazpacho had no taste… the dish was hot… the slices were too thin and had a spongy texture! It wasn't good! All that remained was the visually appealing presentation! Total disappointment! The noodles were lukewarm/sloppy with a watery texture and some very crispy vegetables (pre-cooked in water?)… the crispy pork, on the other hand, was delicious, thank goodness! For dessert, ice cream and warm crème brûlée… nothing we ate was fresh in any respect except for the beers! A real disappointment on a very hot day in the middle of August! We wondered if they had refrigerated rooms! Note: in many establishments, fans were running outside to ventilate and keep the flies away… perhaps something to consider!

20/08/2026: This restaurant is ideally located in the heart of a very pretty village. The cuisine is both colorful and very tasty, and the evening menu offers excellent value for money.

15/08/2026: Great experience, very good Indian food, very flavorful and slightly spicy. Generous portions. Lovely interior and the option to eat on the terrace. About fifteen parking spaces in front of the restaurant. Expect to pay around thirty euros per person.

22/07/2026: The food and naan were pretty standard, like any other Indian restaurant. However, the main reason I’m giving 3 stars is that they delivered an extra meal we hadn't ordered, and we had to pay for it. Secondly, €6 for a bottle of still water is far too expensive. Also, any Indian restaurant that I have visited includes rise as the base prise, here we’d to pay extra. We ended up paying €33 per person on average just for food and water, which is way too pricey for an average Indian restaurant.

07/09/2026: I opted to order à la carte rather than a set menu, figuring the portion would be a decent size. I ordered the Bresse chicken with cream sauce. On my plate, I found a ridiculously small leg accompanied by a few tiny pieces of vegetables and mini potato pancakes. Everything was tiny! The excuse I was given was that Bresse chicken is expensive…

06/04/2026: We regularly come to this gourmet restaurant for the Easter menu. Always top-notch. The welcome and service are always a pleasure, and the meal is always a guaranteed delight. Flavors and colors abound on the menu! A fine selection of wines at reasonable prices and expert advice from the sommelier. The cheese trolley is superb. For us, everything is perfect. The dining room has been discreetly renovated. The tables are well-spaced, and the shared dining experience is peaceful. A truly unmissable address for us.

15/03/2026: I came to eat with my partner, who surprised me by making a reservation, and we had an excellent meal. The wine was of very high quality and complemented the food perfectly. The service was impeccable, with smiling and attentive staff. A special mention goes to the young apprentice, who was very polite and cheerful and particularly pleasant throughout our meal. We wish her all the best for the future! A truly wonderful experience; we will gladly return!
