16/11/2025: We had a wonderful, friendly time at Christine's 😊 The dishes are delicious, made with local ingredients. The cocktails are excellent. As for the pizzas, in my opinion, they're the best—generously topped and reasonably priced. Currently, she's offering winter dishes like tartiflette, fondue, and raclette, as well as other daily specials that change regularly. She also hosts themed evenings, which are very interesting. You can eat there without hesitation; my daughter and I absolutely love it 😊

05/01/2026: Since the dog stayed home, we were still warmly welcomed, but once the food arrived, it was a huge disappointment... What a shame, because the establishment is very inviting and the name appealing... The owner's good humor quickly vanished... The waitress used my arm to grab the plate, and when the very meager cheese platter arrived, it was quickly taken away from us.

09/03/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs. It's deteriorated significantly in recent months, even though we used to come quite often. The hygiene is appalling from the very start of service (doesn't anyone check?), there's residue in the cups, sticky tables and floors, grease stains on the walls and windows, dust everywhere, stomach aches after eating the hamburgers, and the toilets are beyond words...

08/03/2026: A very bad experience at this McDonald's in Valserhône. The restaurant was dirty, the trays were filthy, and the inside smelled terrible. The staff's hygiene was also appalling: I saw one employee wipe his nose with his sleeve before serving and another handling a trash can while handing burgers to customers. Frankly, it's worrying for a restaurant.

30/01/2026: Disappointed by a meal that fell short of the menu's promise. While the starters seemed high-quality and generous, the stale bread foreshadowed the rest of the meal. The main course consisted of dry chicken breasts swimming in a generic sauce with crumbled morels, and a gratin dauphinois where the morels had become chanterelles. The desserts were generic and of questionable freshness. And the crepes were filled with Nutella that expired in May 2025. Disappointing and expensive for what was on the plate. Might as well eat at home.

10/09/2025: Not a very good experience. I went there as a stopover. I had a room in the attic; it was extremely hot and there was no air conditioning. When you open the skylight, you get the smell of cooking from the vents in the roof. Adequate-sized room, good bedding, spacious bathroom, but very poorly maintained and not very well cleaned. Poor hygiene. The meal was plentiful and good.

05/03/2026: Restaurant reviewed after a change of ownership, very enjoyable time spent at this trattoria: professional and warm welcome and service, and excellent cuisine. I will gladly return.

06/12/2025: Beautiful setting, friendly staff. Unfortunately, there were only four of us in the restaurant. They usually cater to groups. That evening, we paid 50 euros per person for the frog leg dish! We got a maximum of four frog legs per person, served on a single platter! I thought it was a joke! A wilted green salad and a pâté en croûte, supposedly homemade... an absolute disappointment! The owner was overwhelmed. Based on the reviews, I expected a different experience. The bill was very steep for an empty stomach.

29/01/2026: I was just served in a place where the hygiene was appalling, and when I mentioned it to the waitress, she said, "If you only knew how it was prepared behind the scenes!" Unacceptable. I will therefore be contacting the health department and reporting this as soon as possible.

25/01/2026: I've often been a customer and have always received a warm welcome and excellent products. But this time I tried Toogotogood's baskets. I was extremely disappointed to find stale chocolate croissants and mini brioches as hard as a rock. It really felt like they were just trying to collect €4 and get rid of the products. I'll try again to see if it was a one-off mistake or a recurring issue.

04/02/2026: Extremely disappointed!!! The Landes salad wasn't very Landes-style, more like a Finnish salad (a diet salad). The chicken in cream sauce: I got a sad, scrawny wing. The dauphinoise potatoes: a child's portion. The ice cream: well, we clearly have different definitions of "scoop"... The only positive thing about it was the cream sauce on the chicken!!!... PERSONALLY: VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Luckily, I'd just come from the pig festival 🐷 and had devoured three slices of strong cheese and a generous plate of kidneys/heart in a blood sauce with red wine... CONCLUSION: I WON'T BE GOING BACK THERE!!!!

12/02/2026: I've had lunch at this restaurant three times, and each time it was a real pleasure. The meals are simple but very good, well-prepared, and flavorful. You can tell the ingredients are high quality. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it!! 😊
