21/05/2026: For the amount of money, the service people were rude. The refrigerator did not work, and they only had paper cups.Not even glass or water. The entrance is super tricky and dangerous. The views are beautiful, but it cannot outweigh the treatment. We've received. Plus neither the pool or the jacuzzi was heated.

01/08/2026: Excellent value for money at this typical mountain restaurant. The €25 set menu features traditional dishes with very generous portions served in platters. Coffee is served with a small chocolate, biscuit, and complimentary liqueur. We'll definitely be back!

22/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! Since the change of ownership, we've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the attention to detail. The dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. The setting is truly ideal for a wonderful time, whether as a couple, with friends, or with family. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and very pleasant. A welcoming and friendly team, quality cuisine, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back... everything is there for a fantastic experience! We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return. A must-try! ❤️

23/08/2026: First time at this restaurant this summer, with my family. A very warm welcome, attentive service without being intrusive. The Neapolitan-style pizza was delicious, the linguine was perfectly cooked with homemade pesto, and the sardines were wonderful... In short, a great experience that we'll definitely repeat.

19/08/2026: The recent change of ownership since summer 2026 has had a fantastic impact: FAST service, decently good brasserie-style food, and a fairly reasonable price-to-quality ratio for a restaurant on the French Riviera. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always gives their all with a smile. Thank you to the person who greeted us (I confess I can't remember her name, a young woman with an Italian-sounding name: a truly wonderful person). It's great to see them offering such a warm welcome despite the sweltering temperatures. If you have a young child, the terrace overlooking the square is perfect for children to play on (a rare find in this area). And I also recommend this restaurant to people with dogs: they're very welcoming.

24/02/2026: I never leave reviews, but this time I think it's important to say that this restaurant is family-run, excellent, and the portions are huge. We also don't understand the negative reviews. It's a really great place.

10/01/2026: The pizzas were delicious! We ordered them by phone and they were ready as soon as we arrived. The price was reasonable for pizzas, the vegetarian one was generously topped with grilled vegetables, and the crust was perfect. I highly recommend this place!

20/08/2026: Absolutely horrible experience. Waitress treated us like we were insulting her by just existing and the bodyguard had the audacity to tell my friend to wear different shoes the next time. Unprofessional and rude. Cocktails were mediocre, tasted even worse after being treated like that. Absolutely not recommended.

17/08/2026: We arrived late in the evening of August 15th, after the fireworks, feeling like tourists (even though we're from the Alpes-Maritimes region), a little self-conscious in our beach gear 🙂, but we received a very warm welcome. With smiles and great friendliness, even though it was very crowded, we were simply asked to put our belongings aside, which seemed perfectly reasonable. We had a drink and a lovely time, so thank you!

31/10/2025: Very disappointed with the quality of the products, expensive and mediocre pizzas, what a shame, we came to have a good time as a family, it spoiled our enjoyment.

06/04/2026: Ignore the negative reviews (as we did) Freshly cooked delicious pizza expertly prepared and delivered piping hot and super tasty. Not frozen (as some idiot suggested) and no hour long wait (as someone else suggested) We waited 10 mins for ours… and the service was very polite. Recommend!!

22/06/2026: Food was terrible and somehow came out in 7 minutes, which is the only fast thing about this place except how quickly I regretted it. The guy running the floor is rude and has a real talent for making the food taste even worse than it already did. They rush you out like there’s a line wrapped around the block, meanwhile the reviews suck, the dining room’s empty, and the food lives down to every word of it

16/07/2026: The best wine bar, the benchmark in Old Nice. Established in 1947, Jean-Philippe Gazan, the owner and manager of La Cave de la Tour, is dedicated to preserving traditions. For connoisseurs and lovers of Niçois wines, they offer wines from Bellet and Saint-Jeannet, at the foot of the Baou. Even if you're welcomed in, you'll feel like you've entered paradise. "There are men and there are Niçois," proclaims the slogan above the entrance; it says it all. The best selection of rosés is available at the bar, particularly from the Estandon cooperative winery. They also offer local wines on tap, available to take away in bottles. Always excellent. Consider ordering small plates for an aperitif (especially the beautiful charcuterie board) and come for the annual World Championship of Stuffed Vegetables – it's a truly prestigious event! World Championship of Stuffed Vegetables from Nice Every year, in a festive atmosphere, around twenty amateur cooks compete before a jury of chefs for the title.

14/06/2026: Me and my friends wanted to watch a world cup game so we asked the guy if we could place a table outside even if it's far from the screen. He was incredibly rude to us and invited us to leave. We ended up standing to watch the game. 5 minutes later, a group of locals arrived so he placed a table for them right where we asked him to....

16/05/2026: Traditional bar near the Saint Martin canal. Outdoor seating, properly poured beer, and fair prices. The service was extremely friendly and kind to me and my wife. Seeing the comments here, I learned about the incident that occurred in 2015.
