10/09/2023: Been going to this bar for 5 years so disappointed closed. New people, new name,stay away absoloute arrogant, expensive ,so unfriendly not interested in the customer,so disappointed .

08/09/2024: The slowest most ridiculous expensive service. Paid €21.20 for 2 takeaway average coffees (no barista / specialty) and an orange juice. The pace of people is so slow, took them literally 15 mins to prepare that and they got it wrong! Crazy. Not the slightest effort to provide a decent service.

07/09/2024: Not great, for the first time!!! Room the room😨, not smiling, the unpleasant beep beep, the Batistas too much on their cell phones!! and too expensive for a poorly rendered service!! Damage

20/05/2024: It was with Bagelstein that I really discovered bagels a few years ago and it quickly became one of our favorite canteens. The bagels are made to order (some are already ready in the window) and the service is generally quick. The bagel not to be missed is the Christmas one! The recipes change from year to year but they are always delicious.

07/04/2024: Really very nice, beautiful decoration, friendly and welcoming staff, really good and well-filled bagel, the best being the albertine (composition of your choice) I recommend. Edit: the bagels are much less filling than before.

25/09/2024: Room 3/5: The room was nothing spectacular and it was kept clean, the first few days the air conditioning made the room quite humid so I was forced to turn it off. Service 4/5: Service was good even if not everyone in the structure was polite, although there was a young girl bar tending some nights, Chirine I think, that showed an amazing work ethic and that stayed late at the job even when her shift was done, just to help out. Location 5/5: The hotel is an 8 min walk form the city center.

12/07/2024: We wanted to try the Riviera restaurant in the recently renovated Hotel Carlton, for our wedding anniversary. What a very frustrating disappointment from start to finish! We knew it would be extremely expensive, but would not have minded at all and would have been quite happy to pay if the evening/food had been enjoyable. Far from it. Having been shown to our table on the terrace and given menus, we were thereafter totally ignored by all waiters. In the end I had to ask for the cocktail list, as we had been looking forward to a cocktail apéritif. No-one came to take the order until I finally managed to catch someone’s attention. Exactly the same thing to order the food and wine - I had to finally beckon someone. All this did nothing to make for a relaxing evening! My husband’s choice of main course (lamb) was not available, neither was his second choice (pork). After at least 20 minutes the cocktails arrived, and a couple of minutes later the starters, leaving no time to enjoy the cocktail… So the starters had to be sent back, one of them to be kept warm. The veal, which my husband was almost obliged to have, was badly sliced by a very pleasant waitress, but who was self-admittedly ‘new’ - as several other young waiters seemed to be. When one is paying those prices, totally professional service is expected, i.e. NOT from trainees or stagiaires! The girl slicing the veal was actually at a disadvantage because by that time it was dark and there was very little light on the tables. A huge slice of fat was on the plate - and the veal was definitely not rosé. A very good chocolate desert. And 2 coffees at 15€ each….! How dare they??!! That was definitely an UNexpected price. It’s almost laughable.. Uncomfortable metal chairs, with no back cushion. The ‘old’ Carlton was so much better!

26/08/2024: I recommend this place to eat sushi, it's a restaurant for eating homemade sushi and on Mondays it's all you can eat!

22/08/2024: I put one star because I can't give zero stars I always order delivery, and each time there is something missing in the delivery, for example wasabi or candied ginger, and when you call back you are told that it was you who said no..... and that's up to you. the same every time. the tempura shrimp are so burnt that they are inedible. I'm not talking to you about the abnormally long delivery times, they don't respect what they say on the phone I am disappointed by this situation and due to all these problems, the management never does a kindness when ordering again. I do not recommend be careful to repeat your order several times to be sure, and despite this I was fooled several times...

31/08/2024: When we read the reviews, we tell ourselves that either we don't like our appearance or we were unlucky that day. We are a well-traveled couple who are usually cheerful and polite. However that day, having decided to stop there to have a cocktail, we were first received by a first waiter, who refused to let us sit on a table in front, explained to us that these tables were intended for 4 people. So we did so by going to a table that he pointed out to us, further back. We had not yet had time to order when 2 young girls sat down at the same table which we were refused, and this same waiter smiled at them as he went to take their order. Then another waiter came to take our order and shortly after served us. We therefore consumed and paid as soon as served (at our request however). We had been consuming for about ten minutes, when to our surprise, this waiter came to clear our drinks, leaving us with an empty table. So we decided to leave, not knowing if it was to make us understand to consume again, or to suggest that we not stay. Regarding the 2 cocktails, one was very good and well prepared, but the other was quite tasteless, giving the impression of a glass of water with a fairly clear mixture of fruit juice.

09/08/2024: 1 hour wait for a daily special, we had to do table service. There wasn't even enough food for the table. No commercial gesture at the end, very disappointed.

07/08/2024: An amazing end to meaningful trip. Antoine is a wonderful host who leads by example in his hard work & attention to his patrons! Cannot recommend this more highly, if you can, you must visit this delish destination.

26/08/2024: We saw the menu at the edge of the terrace, the menu looked quite nice, and then they brought us the menu 🙄 and there we saw that half of the dishes were crossed out (unavailable).... We still stay but we shouldn't have, honestly I have rarely seen such a poorly polite and unfriendly server. Complicated to order it disappears every 2 minutes, we clearly have the impression of pissing it off. He finally brings us the dish and the nice plate of Charcuterie and the butter has been EXPIRED for more than 2 MONTHS! We had already been there a month ago and we had a Butter that was already EXPIRED by that much. We seriously wonder if the rest is fresh.... Conclusion : Extremely poor service Few dishes available Great general expectation WE WILL NOT RETURN Ps: avoid if you plan to chat, it's hard to hear with the music being too loud

11/06/2024: Very disappointed by the owner of this restaurant (who is not in the profession) sorely lacks professionalism, and respect towards the customers but also towards his staff. His relationships vary depending on his mood swings. We have been customers from Vietnam for over 15 years, and have noticed that the boss's attitude has changed since he retired and that he constantly comes to the restaurant as reinforcements due to lack of staff (and the desire to recruit). This gentleman should not be in the room, he is aggressive and very unpleasant. In addition, he does not know how to manage his stress and scares away his clients with his bad temper. If you want to eat Vietnamese food, go to his brother's at Nuit de Saïgon in Cap d'Ail! You will be better received and you will hardly feel the fat. The brother is always very friendly and is a professional, which makes a big difference in terms of relationships/customers.

16/09/2024: Excellent bar-restaurant with a beautiful view during the day and a charming atmosphere in the evening. The quality of the food and wine is excellent. To enjoy the sea and the beach you can book very comfortable sunbeds with soft mattresses on the pier or on the beach. Fast and attentive service, beautiful view.

11/09/2024: I give three stars for the welcome and the service even if it was a little slow. We take the time to admire the view. On the other hand, the culinary quality is clearly not there, which is a shame in such a pretty place. Considering the prices we expect a minimum of quality, cooked fries and tastier fish among other things. Congratulations to the welcoming and smiling team.

05/08/2024: What a great little spot. Staff were very attentive. Cocktail and champagne were just great. We sat in really comfy seats watching the world go by enjoying very tasty drinks. What more could you ask for.

03/09/2024: The salmon in the chirashi was really bad today, it had no taste and was very oily. The rest was good

03/09/2024: I ordered a take away from them of 30 pieces. After eating 20 of them I felt terrible in my stomach and had to go to the bathroom to vomit. I got food poisoning. From complaint.
