04/01/2025: Exceptional day in Nice at TNN. In the morning at 11 a.m. exchange with the public in front of the theater for the trial of "Alice in Wonderland" improvisation with an actor playing the prosecutor, a real lawyer, and an actress playing Alice, a show full of surprises. And in the afternoon at 3 p.m. a show for young and old on “the fables of the fountain” subtly put on.

13/10/2024: I was seated in a table near the entrance, with cold air on my back each time the door opened, and no way to change (the place was full, nothing to say). No table menu was available: the dishes were just written on the walls, forcing me to roam around the hall disturbing the other people. Cool and choreographic, but unpractical. Poor service: the waiter hurried me to order, while i was still trying to choose, in a mixed anglo-french difficult to understand, due also to the noise inside. Food: not bad, but nothing special. I don't say "i'll never return", but first i'll search for better places.

08/09/2024: For the second time in a few months, I had the pleasure of dining at La Cave. It was a truly enchanting experience both times. Rarely do you come across such quality. Pascal's warmth with his knowledge of wines and suggestions testify to a great and rich vision. The unprecedented, passionate cooking quality of la Cheffe Alison takes you completely to the exclusive level of this wonderful, extremely atmospheric restaurant. My sincere compliments.

10/10/2024: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Un incontournable ! Je suis toujours ravi de revenir à ce glacier. L’accueil est toujours chaleureux et attentionné, ce qui rend chaque visite encore plus agréable. Mention spéciale pour les crêpes Suzette, un pur délice à chaque fois, et les glaces, qui sont tout simplement exceptionnelles avec des saveurs authentiques et variées. Je recommande vivement à tous les gourmands !

23/09/2024: Les glaces sont excellentes et bien présentées mais le personnel se dispute, les noms d’oiseaux et les menaces fusent, c’est affligeant…. Nous voulions passer un bon moment en famille : c’est raté.

08/07/2025: The room is extremely small, the bed uncomfortable, the bathroom dirty, the shower drain blocked, the kitchen fan was loud all night long... we hardly slept a wink, and the €15 per person breakfast was a joke... once and never again!!

28/06/2025: The hotel is admittedly a little run-down, but it has its charm. Above all, it has a very friendly, young team who are attentive to their customers. A big thank you to the young woman who welcomed us and took care of our rooms, as well as the young man at the bar and restaurant, who, despite their young age, are extremely good at their jobs. Congratulations to you.

La hampe, aujourd’hui plat du jour, était excellente. Un public local, qui a l’air de venir fréquemment génère un trafic intense qui ne nuit pas au service

03/08/2024: Accueil, très aimable, le service est à la hauteur, la salle plaisante et bien climatisée .. Nous avions pris une assiette de charcuterie à partager, bien Servie et de bonne qualité . Ensuite, mon mari a pris un magret de canard, lui aussi très bien servi, et j’avais pris le poulpe grillé, très tendre et goûteux .. Bon choix de vin à des prix raisonnables. Bref, une expérience à refaire !

21/06/2024: On ne peut pas prétendre être un bar à vin et ne pas se comporter comme tel. Les verres sont déposés sur la table et on doit venir avec la bouteille nous servir. Ici c'est tout le contraire. On vous apporte les verres qui ont été préparés et remplis probablement au bar. Aucune visibilité sur la bouteille. Pire le vin rouge est sorti froid ce qui implique qu'il était au frigo. Inadmissible. Rien ne prouve qu'il ne s'agissait pas de cubi ou autre. Bref. Puis assiette de charcuterie conséquente. ... Ah non finalement 4 tranches de jambon cru posées sur une touffe de salade. Pour donner du volume Bref. Plus jamais.

27/05/2024: Quite a posh little bakery place with delightful cakes and nice coffee. Recommended if you want to grab something on the way to a station like Place Garibaldi or Nice Riquier.

16/08/2024: Après réservation de 3 adultes et 1 enfant nous avons apprécié notre soirée repas malgré une petite pluie protégés par de grands parasols Accueil sympa et soirée surprise barbecue que nous n'avons pas regretté Une bonne entrecôte frites des travers de porc avec sauce et un menu enfant sympa le tout avec un bon rosé Tout était parfait Bonne soirée Merci

12/05/2024: Le cadre extérieur et la terrasse ombragée sont très agréables. Petite carte mais néanmoins avec du choix. J’ai pris un tartare de saumon qui était insipide et sans saveur. Cela manquait clairement d’assaisonnement. Mon conjoint a pris un saumon sauce vierge qui était parfait. Le fondant au chocolat est très bon.

27/09/2024: Service was slow after they make you pay for your drinks up front. Got a Long Island iced tea and couldn’t taste any alcohol at all. After returning the drink and letting the server know there was no alcohol taste (in a drink that has 5 different types of alcohol), I waited another 5 minutes for them to bring back the exact same drink and rudely explain to me that you’re not supposed to taste the alcohol because it’s a cocktail??

26/09/2024: Not sure how this bar classifies as Australian? There is not even 1 Australian beer on tap available. And the food, also not Australian. The only thing Australian about it as was the cheap portraits of Australian animals, and the term “blokes” used on the doors to the bathroom. However the beer selection was good if you want euro beer

21/08/2024: Viste le recensioni positive, abbiamo deciso di cenare in questo locale. La prima alternativa che ci è stata posta era se cenare dentro o fuori. Fuori era praticamente in mezzo alla strada, dentro faceva un caldo da inferno dantesco, con un solo ventilatore a dare (cercare di dare) un po' di sollievo. Arriva il menù. Scarso e scritto nel solo francese... Evviva un po' di sano patriottismo... Ma così è troppo. La cameriera non sapeva nulla di ciò che il ristorante proponeva, perché era stata presa in prestito da un altro locale, e ce lo avrà ripetuto almeno venti volte, fino a poi sparire nella movida paesana. I piatti non erano un granché, una fetta di carne con patatine intrise del condimento di cottura della carne stessa, e una mousse di cioccolato con panna da bomboletta sparata sopra ... Al supermercato si poteva trovare di meglio. Il conto non caro, esagerato.
