16/09/2024: We stayed two nights at this hotel in August. Upon arrival, we noticed our room’s air conditioner was not functional. We spoke to reception and they came to check and confirmed it was on. We left for a couple of hours, leaving the air conditioner on full fan, hoping to cool the room. On our return, the room was even warmer so we asked to be moved to another room. The room we were moved to was a staff space and had no light, an unclean bathroom, a mouldy smell and holes in the plaster on the walls. But it did have a working air conditioner and by this time of afternoon, we were not able to find an affordable alternative hotel so we agreed to stay. We were told by the reception staff that we would discuss a refund in the morning with the manager. The next day when we asked to speak to the manager, we were told she had left for the day. We asked the receptionist to please call her to confirm our refund. Over the phone, she confirmed that we would be reimbursed for our stay the following day. As we went to check out the following morning, we were told that the manager doesn’t work on Mondays and as we had a plane to catch, we had to take the receptionists word that it would be sorted on Tuesday. It has now been three weeks and we have sent a dozen emails which go unanswered. The few times we have been able to have a phone call answered, we face the same excuse of the manager not being there. I am imploring the manager to please get in contact with me about this issue. In the meantime, if you’re considering staying here - I’d choose somewhere else.

12/09/2024: The setting is the strong point, very flowery, a beautiful lawn, magnificent trees, on the heights of Cannes. Very pretty building, very nice location. Comfortable swimming pool area out of sight. Absolute calm. What a disappointment regarding the room (considering the asking price!). Although nicely decorated, the model is strewn with a multitude of stains of all kinds, including very questionable splashes on the drapes. The insulation of the rooms also needs to be reviewed. The staff are really lovely, especially the 2 young women at reception. The bathroom cleaning is impeccable.

09/08/2024: 1 hour wait for a daily special, we had to do table service. There wasn't even enough food for the table. No commercial gesture at the end, very disappointed.

07/08/2024: An amazing end to meaningful trip. Antoine is a wonderful host who leads by example in his hard work & attention to his patrons! Cannot recommend this more highly, if you can, you must visit this delish destination.

10/08/2024: Nous n'avons pris qu'un plat ce midi car vu le temps qu'il a fallu pour être servis, nous n'avons pas pris le risque de prendre un dessert. Difficilement compréhensible alors qu'il y avait seulement quelques clients..

02/08/2024: Impeccably maintained course with magnificent views of the village of Biot. Excellent welcome!

12/08/2024: Relatively pleasant welcome with good explanations on how the bivouac works around the lodge. Pitches for tents are quite limited, be careful not to arrive too late. The outdoor solar shower is very pleasant, you can use the restaurant tables to cook yourself. However, the prices are quite high for a lodge which can be supplied very easily by road, the sandwiches are expensive, moderately good and very small...

06/08/2024: Good meal but overpriced (much more expensive than the refuges in the high mountains which are more difficult to supply)…

01/02/2024: Disaster ! We abandoned this place which was much better in 2023...

21/01/2024: Sea urchins bought for New Year's Eve... Totally empty... Inedible
