13/08/2026: The older woman serving was extremely unfriendly. I paid more than €6 for an ice cream cone, and since the terrace was almost empty—only two other tables were occupied—I sat down. After about 30 seconds, she came over and told me that I had ordered the ice cream “to go,” so I had to leave. I apologized and explained that I had not understood the distinction. I offered to pay whatever the difference was, but she rudely refused and told me to leave, saying, “It’s not about being a tourist. I used simple words: to go means don’t eat here.” She could have politely explained how it works and said, “It’s fine this time, but just so you know for the future…” Instead, despite the terrace being nearly empty, she chose to be unnecessarily rude and made me leave with my ice cream cone.

09/08/2026: The quality/price ratio is decent and the food is good. But the ice cream is divine! The Vallaurienne, the Lebanese, or the lime-basil are must-tries.

09/08/2026: Went there on a recommendation, left frustrated. I struggle to understand the reviews calling it the best restaurant in the Alpes-Maritimes (06)... Honestly, maybe we just caught them on a bad night, but neither the place nor the food was good. A roadside restaurant, not very well located, and the dishes had absolutely no flavor, or even tasteless. The korma and chicken tikka masala were very bland, lacking any spices.

09/08/2026: An incredible disappointment... A 30-minute drive to try this supposedly well-rated Indian restaurant... The tikka masala rice boxes you find in the refrigerated section of Intermarché are 100 times better than this, that's how disastrous it is... Totally tasteless, no flavor whatsoever, everything is bland, the chicken is greasy and has no taste, you wonder where the spices are... I was worried it would be too spicy, but I can't believe it... Avoid at all costs!!

02/06/2026: Very disappointing. The pizzas were sparsely topped and burnt. It's not good value for money. I do not recommend this pizzeria.

29/05/2026: As a regular customer of this place, I was (for the second time) very disappointed by the delivered pizzas. The dough was rubbery, and the toppings were sparse. This is no longer the Bella Pizza I know. Is it a drop in quality coupled with increased sales? I won't be ordering again. What a shame.

13/09/2026: Very disappointing experience We waited around 40 minutes before asking another server about our order. Only then were we told that the beer we ordered was unavailable. We were also told that our food had been delayed because of the beer, which didn’t make much sense. When the food finally arrived, the mussels were poorly cleaned and still had a lot of beard attached. The bread was also burnt. Overall, the service was disorganized and the food quality was disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place based on our experience.

13/09/2026: Tonight I had a seafood dinner, and there was even someone singing in the restaurant 🎤. As soon as I sat down, someone actually sang "The Moon Represents My Heart" to me — it was quite a novel experience 🤣! But honestly, all the restaurants in the tourist area sell pretty much the same stuff, and this one was just so-so ~ the seafood wasn't particularly impressive. Now the main point! When it was time to pay, the waiter insisted that we pay a service charge, Euro 5 was added 💸. On top of that, he said the card wouldn't go through, and while reentering the amount, he sneakily added another 5 Euro. The whole thing was just so frustrating! Back at the hotel, I found out that many other people had the exact same experience. The restaurant does respond to guests' other complaints — but when it comes to this issue, they avoid it completely and say nothing. Everyone traveling to Nice, remember to watch out for restaurant "traps"! 😱 When eating, always check the bill carefully, and don't just let people add charges randomly! The restaurant is located in the tourist area of Nice, with many similar restaurants nearby. When visiting Nice, remember to stay alert — enjoy the food while making sure you don't get ripped off! 👀

01/03/2026: A very unpleasant experience last night. I was waiting in line normally when two customers who arrived after me were served before me. When I politely pointed this out, the waitress responded curtly, claiming they were ahead of me, which is untrue. What's even more disturbing is that these customers thanked the waitress, saying "Thank you, Auntie," which clearly suggests they were acquaintances. If that's the case, it would be more honest to admit the favoritism rather than accuse the customers of lying. Instead of a simple exchange to clarify the situation, the tone escalated unnecessarily. A man in the queue became aggressive, even threatening to have me removed. Then a security guard intervened, speaking to me inappropriately. As a result, I was publicly insulted simply for pointing out an injustice in the order of service. Mistakes happen, but the lack of respect and aggressive handling of the situation are unacceptable. I am very disappointed by the staff's professionalism.

01/07/2026: HOTEL TO AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! When I arrived at the hotel to check in at 7 PM, I tried desperately to contact the number on the front door. Someone finally answered on my fourth call. The "receptionist" gave me the code, and I retrieved my room key. Upon arriving in my room, I discovered the state of the sheets and the room itself. I asked for just the sheets to be changed, and after my seventh call, I was moved to a different room (see photos). Once that was done, I went to my second room, and the sheets were "a little" cleaner, but the shower curtain (mold) and my bath towel were in a deplorable state. I resigned myself to accepting the room since no other hotel was available that evening and decided to take a shower. I was shocked to discover there was no hot water, even though I had reported the problem when I changed rooms. In short, a superb night's sleep... even if this hotel is only 2 stars, I think it should be at least minimally clean. I should add that I'm not particularly fussy about comfort and cleanliness.

25/04/2026: We stayed at the Hotel La Victoire, located on Place du Grand Jardin, right at the entrance to Vence's historic center. It's a small, two-star hotel. It doesn't have private parking, but we were able to use the public underground parking garage opposite the entrance, which made arrival much easier. Inside, the layout is simple. We stayed in a double room. The room was clean, with a wardrobe and a handy storage shelf. The room was equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a functional bathroom. However, the shower could use some improvement: the curtain, although visibly cleaned, could do with being replaced. There's a small elevator for luggage. The soundproofing is effective: although the hotel directly overlooks a lively square with many restaurants, we weren't bothered by the noise once the windows were closed. Check-in and reception are handled by phone and text message, with the entry code sent to you so you can retrieve your room key. A simple continental breakfast is served on the ground floor each morning. This is a good value hotel that we appreciated for its convenience, as it allows you to explore the entire city on foot.

27/04/2026: Contrary to what some reviews may mention, the staff is very helpful and available. The hotel is very well located and the rooms are excellent; I highly recommend it for a stay in Eze!

04/09/2026: Exceptional cuttlefish pizza! There are a few tables available and the staff were super friendly! A really great time… I recommend it

28/06/2026: The staff were unwelcoming, we were really bothering them... And it was 7:30 pm. As for the very expensive pizzas (€15) for just dough and grated cheese, we had to look for the other ingredients. A real tourist trap.

29/07/2026: The restaurant is closed. Probably for renovation.

29/08/2026: I'm diabetic and can't hold my bladder. I asked to go to the restroom for a second; it was late, the bar was empty. He told me no, there are public restrooms over there. I told him I was coming from there and that I couldn't hold it because I'm sick. He still told me no, you're not going, go find it there. I don't recommend it.

10/07/2026: I give this bar a very bad rating; the managers are extremely unpleasant. We arrived, a group of 10, to watch a France football match. We all ordered drinks; some had food, others refilled their beers. That's more than one drink per person on average. It was July, during a heatwave. We asked for a carafe of water and two glasses of water, and the man refused. He refused to give us a carafe of water and glasses of water because we were staying for the whole match and needed to order more?? Even though several of us still had full glasses. I would like to remind everyone that it is illegal to refuse water to people, especially during a heatwave, in temperatures of 31°C, and even more so when they are customers who have already ordered and paid for several items. Even after we tried to negotiate, the man refused and made a scene. If you want to support ungrateful people who refuse to give away (free???) water, go ahead. Otherwise, we all agree they deserve to be sued.

24/10/2025: €5 or €7 pizza, take your pick!! I simply urge you to avoid this place. Pizza undercooked in the center and burnt on the outside. You'll end up with a bad case of diarrhea. I wonder how this joint is still standing.

04/10/2025: I was traveling to Nice from China and this was the best Neapolitan pizza I've ever had, well worth the money!
