28/09/2024: We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful - five stars to them! The location is convenient for exploring Nice, Monaco, Cap Ferret and Eze. It also offers spectacular views! Unfortunately, the facilities themselves - the rooms, the non-heated pool with ice cold water (we visited in mid-September), the rooms' terraces - are aged and overall sub-par. They need care and renovations. This, coupled with very expensive price (in mid-September we paid around 350 euro per night, for two people with breakfast and a dog), means to me that the hotel falls short of the expectations.

26/09/2024: Excellent hotel with beautiful comfort type rooms overlooking the sea. The view is magnificent and the rooms are larger than in the photos. The staff takes great care. We stayed there for our 30th wedding anniversary and had a congratulations card and chocolates in our room. In the evening, the restaurant manager had the delicate attention of putting a candle on our deserts while remaining very discreet towards the other customers. Excellent stay

27/05/2025: PMU tobacco bar. Everyone meets up in a good atmosphere. Fast and friendly. I recommend this place.

23/11/2024: To flee I honestly don't understand the ratings for this establishment. Or we unknowingly participated in a hidden camera. The server was very friendly then it was a disaster. An endless wait of three hours to eat a starter or a main course. But still pass If it had been edible. The children's menu with nuggets so cooked that you could have mistaken them for a piece of charcoal. Even tasteless starters don't make up for it with revisited spring rolls cooked in the same way as nuggets. Burnt duck fillets for accompaniments, let’s not talk about it. To conclude, I don't remember eating this badly in many years. We think that the waiter acted as chef and dishwasher last night.

30/08/2024: Excellente daurade bien cuisinée et préparée, au bord de la plage avec une vue magnifique. Le service est cordial et sympathique.

27/08/2024: Purtroppo il piatto forte della casa le linguine ai frutti di mare che vengono servite in una crosta di pane sono state un grande flop: piene d'aglio, qualche pezzettino di pesce completamente insapore (surgelato sicuramente)... lo abbiamo lasciato quasi tutto era immangiabile. Personale però simpatico e gentile e location da sogno a 5 metri dalla battigia.

24/08/2024: Lorsque vous vous interessez a l’histoire de l’établissement et à la passion du patron, il s’ouvrira et vous donnera inévitablement envie de tester la carte et de suivre ses judicieux conseils vin ! La cuisine Sarde proposée était absolument parfaite ! Un délice ! L’Ulivo est sans aucun doute un établissement à ne pas manquer si vous goûtez à Menton !

15/08/2024: Not necessarily located on a busy street, this little restaurant was one of our great discoveries. The food is very good and the service from the employee, a little awkward, but very attentive! Our 2nd attempt to pass was less encouraging. The owner refused to receive us (even on the terrace) because of our dogs... even though at 8:30 p.m. not a single table was occupied and he had welcomed us 2 days earlier, with our dogs, on the terrace, in the same conditions (i.e. empty restaurant and terrace) He has every right to refuse dogs, that I understand and accept perfectly 👍🏻 But one day accept them and 2 days later refuse them… 🫡??? (even though they didn’t move during our first visit and not a single table was occupied) Ultimately, for us, it was a blessing in disguise, because we ended up a few streets further in a Thai restaurant, DELICIOUS, full atmosphere and with a warm welcome for our 2 dogs 🐕🐾 Conclusion, if you don't have dogs and are just looking for a (very) quiet place where you eat well, go there with your eyes closed. Otherwise, move on... Here I add a clarification to the response received by the owner: As mentioned above, we were on the TERRACE and they 🐾🐾 didn't move, so apart from maybe a few drops of water after drinking... So if indeed the owner found the place “dirty”, it is because it was so before our visit…

29/07/2024: While passing through Juan les pins, we stopped at this small restaurant serving Syrian and Lebanese specialties. Two formulas (fallafel and shawarma) later and we are won over. We were even offered a dessert (which we completed with other pastries), excellent too!

16/01/2025: Very cute French restaurant. Server appeared to also be the one cooking the meals and was very sweet and attentive. We had the mussels to start which were very very good and presented in a way making them easy to eat and share We then each had a burger which came with fried potatoes. The one with truffle was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend trying it! All around a lovely evening and would recommend this restaurant

01/06/2024: C’est notre cinquième fois que nous allons au cap Estel. C’est un grand plaisir que nous retrouvons ce bel endroit très calme loin de l’agitation de la côte où nous nous ressourçons !!! Avec une vue à couper le souffle sur la belle bleue. Le personnel est très à l’écoute et disponible !!! Nous avons passé comme d’habitude un excellent séjour et nous retournerons l’an prochain !
