05/12/2025: New review November 2025. When the new owners took over the business in 2024, we rushed to order. However, we were very disappointed; the portion of fries was small (the packaging was completely flat). The burger was just like the previous ones. So, a disappointing experience. Months passed, and we decided to give them another chance. The burgers were good (although the green peppercorn sauce wasn't quite there in the Beatles burger), and this time the portion of fries was decent. The garlic sauce that comes with the fries doesn't have a very strong garlic flavor and is more like mayonnaise, so I recommend the tartar sauce instead. Review May 2024. The very first time, we were won over by the excellence of the burgers and fries: perfectly soft brioche bun, excellent beef, delicate sauce… The burgers were indulgent but well-balanced, and the homemade fries were to die for (we even dreamed of a bottomless cone!). Unfortunately, the initial success didn't pay off. On two other occasions, we ordered burgers and fries, and it's clear that the taste was no longer there: bland burgers, meat cooked to perfection (well-done instead of rare), fries too dark, and, most importantly, quickly reheated in a bath of oil. This lack of consistency is a major disappointment (hence the 3/5 rating).

10/08/2026: We came for dinner, and the glasses on the table were very dirty; at our request, they were replaced. When we saw the state of the restrooms, we had to wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen… especially since we were there at the beginning of service.

09/08/2026: A very good little restaurant! The service was pleasant and efficient, the place was quiet, and the menu was equally so. Not huge, but with a varied selection and the dishes were excellent.

30/07/2026: While out in Chartres on Tuesday the 28th, we had the full menu: "Salade Folle," salmon stew, and chocolate éclair. The whole meal was truly delicious, and the service was impeccable. Keep up the good work, gentlemen! I know where to eat next time in Chartres.

20/07/2026: This was our first time here with my daughter, and we'll definitely be back! The Burrata tartine was exquisite, and the Smashed burger was also a big hit. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and the service was quick. The only slight downside was the somewhat hesitant welcome; we waited a good five minutes before being seen, but otherwise, it was perfect!

15/08/2026: Excellent pizza! I'm often in Tignes for business trips and the service is always very welcoming, the ingredients are fresh, and it's truly delicious. Since the change of ownership, it's been perfect.

10/07/2026: A very good bistro offering a great €30 set menu including a starter, main course, dessert, and a hot drink (coffee or tea). I highly recommend the fish soup, which is divine! The mussels are also very good. The staff are friendly and attentive. The shaded terrace is a bonus.

09/07/2026: The mussels were cooked perfectly, their garlic sauce was delicious, and the fries were nicely grilled. The staff were efficient and friendly. The service was exactly as we wanted. We come to this restaurant every time we visit the Opal Coast!

19/07/2026: I absolutely loved this restaurant! Open all day Sunday (that's wonderful!!), the service was top-notch and incredibly kind. If you were working there on July 19, 2026, thank you so much, you were so lovely! Delicious dishes, including vegetarian options. The homemade iced tea was amazing too. I'll definitely be back!

17/07/2026: Amazing experience tonight for my son's birthday!! I'd seen several videos of the restaurant on YouTube, and my son and I are big fans of chili peppers. We received a wonderfully warm welcome and were attentive throughout the meal; it's rare these days to have such dedicated servers (especially at the end of this heatwave when temperatures are still high). And what can I say about the most important thing, the food! We ordered the Mala Xiangguo, a level 3 out of 5 on the chili scale, and I was incredibly surprised by the flavor of the dish, which I've never tasted before in Asian cuisine, even though I'm a big fan. Yes, it's spicy, but it was just right for us, and the dish was easy to eat (though we did break out in a sweat 🤣). The sides (cucumber, pickles) and the chicken hide-and-seek were just as delicious, with flavors we'd never encountered before. A huge congratulations to the two chefs, who also put on a show (the hot dishes too 🤣, hats off to them!) with their flaming woks! We will be back and will definitely recommend you! Thanks again for this wonderful evening, which will remain etched in my son's memory!

19/08/2026: A very bad experience. I was particularly shocked by the lack of hygiene in the kitchen. I saw a cook smoking, then resume preparing orders without washing his hands. The cooks don't wear gloves and handle raw vegetables directly with their bare hands to prepare sandwiches, when a utensil or tongs should be used. For a restaurant, this level of hygiene is truly concerning. I hope management will take the necessary steps to improve kitchen practices.

17/08/2026: A small restaurant with a vintage, flea-market feel, decorated with found objects, very charming. The music is a mix of country and French classics. The American owner is also very friendly. The cuisine is typically American, homemade, but with French ingredients, which will transport you to the USA. I recommend the cheesecake and the brownie for dessert. Excellent coffee to finish off the meal.
