05/05/2026: First time here, and overall the burgers were really good, no complaints there 👍 However, we had a very unpleasant surprise when it came time to pay… They were €1.30 short of change and couldn't give me any. So I had to leave it with them. Frankly, I think it's outrageous and quite shameful for a business not to be able to give proper change. It's a shame, because the experience could have been much better without this problem.

14/07/2026: The restaurant is consistently excellent, offering great value for money, and is very pleasant and spacious. Perhaps they could offer a wider variety of hot dishes and allow for smaller portions with two side dishes of your choice at no extra charge.

19/05/2026: I don't know what to tell you, seriously, my wife and I really appreciate good food, and to be honest, this time we went to Hippopotamus in Aéroville (I have to specify that). The starter was absolutely insane! The ravioli and chicken bites were an incredible explosion of flavor, and the burgers were perfectly cooked and excellent. The sides were great, with a delicious homemade sauce. Honestly, I'd give it a 9/10 (you can't give 10, you know, lol). I highly recommend it, and enjoy your meal!

13/07/2026: It's a great find. The welcome is very pleasant and in this area where you mostly find restaurants for tourists, the mill offers sincere and well-prepared cuisine with fresh products (in what we ordered at least).

We felt like we were spending time with family, and the menus are always carefully prepared. We're from the Basque Country and we particularly enjoyed this Norman restaurant, which is well worth the trip.

08/07/2026: This is my second time here and the food is good and inexpensive. Aperitif, coffee, and set menu for €26 and €22 for two people. Perfect... We're on vacation, so even if dessert and coffee took a while, it didn't matter. The service was especially friendly.

If you're looking for a more varied menu with excellent cuts of meat, this is the place. ⭐ A warm welcome from the start, followed by attentive service, always with a smile and genuine kindness. The dining room has a charming "mountain chalet" feel. ⭐ We enjoyed a delicious cocktail and mocktail! For my part, with the Vendangeur, I found there either wasn't enough, or the container was too big, but I still wanted more! 😂 ⭐ We started our meal with a generous charcuterie board, a special mention for the very good black pudding and the absolutely incredible Charentais cheesecake! 👌🏾 ⭐ For our main courses, we were well served with two rib-eye steaks and homemade fries, cheese sauce, peppercorn sauce, and Béarnaise sauce. Everything was perfect, from the cooking of the meat and fries to the seasoning of the sauces. 😊 Thank you again for this lovely surprise and the warm welcome; we highly recommend this place! 😁
