26/01/2026: Great Place to watch Premier League I was looking for a place that would show Liverpool Burnley this month (to watch with about 6 other people). We searched a lot of places and ended up here. No regrets! It was great they showed the game and had decent Guinness. Super frienldy staff too.

30/01/2026: The grilled food cooked in the fireplace is delicious, and I always receive a warm welcome. A reliable choice for lunch or dinner. Easy to get to, excellent in its simplicity. We'll gladly return. The live music evenings are also very enjoyable.

20/03/2026: A very disappointing experience and a blatant lack of humanity. Initially, we made a reservation over the phone, and the woman was very polite and cheerful. Once we arrived, we received a rather cold welcome. Our orders were taken very quickly because, and I quote, "We have to be quick, there are other customers." Excuse me, madam, for having customers with disabilities, and for simply asking if there was mashed potatoes to replace the rice?! Not to mention that there were only about ten of us in the entire restaurant at that time. We were rushed for our main courses, then completely forgotten about dessert, which we waited for and was then forgotten. A total lack of consideration. Disability should never be an excuse for sloppy service or treating customers coldly. The "thank you, have a nice day, goodbye" was very timid. This employee deserves training on posture, managing the queue, and welcoming people with disabilities. The only star is for the quality of the food and the service provided by the young man who, unlike the woman, was kind, polite, and smiling. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this is a first.

19/03/2026: The waitress should find another job! Condescending, unpleasant, and haughty. Who does she think she is? We ate better in La Flotte, and for less money too.

27/03/2026: This place is a MUST. Meat lovers, vous allez trouver votre bonheur. Don’t miss out on l’onglet de boeuf, it was the best thing we ordered. Tomahawk is great, crispy on the outside and juicy from the inside. The filet mignon is really good but nothing compares to the other 2. Even the entrées were perfect, tarte aux onions and the ceviche, absolutely PERFECTO👌🏻 the ceviche has so many flavors it actually explodes in your mouth. And for all the sweet tooth out there, pleaaaase don’t forget the soufflé au chocolat, wow. I 100% recommend, and I’d go back ANYTIME.

21/03/2026: A classic! The 1950s American atmosphere is wonderfully captured! You really feel like you're in the United States! Excellent value for money, I highly recommend it! PS: Special mention to Shanna who knows her stuff perfectly (from the welcome to the service) with natural ease and a smile that draws everyone's attention.

03/03/2026: A last-minute, impromptu dinner. We received a very poor welcome. We asked to be seated somewhere other than by an "emergency" door, but were refused because they didn't have time to set a table, even though the restaurant was practically empty and we were cold. Our drinks were undrinkable, probably because the syrup bottle had spilled in. Some of the food was cold, while others were barely lukewarm. They offered some compensation, but it was a waste of money considering we had all ordered full meals (extra portions). To top it all off, the dining room was dark, with only three spotlights on; all the others were off. When it came to payment, they gave us individual receipts but refused to provide a single, complete receipt. We shared our concerns with the waiter (Maxime), who remained with us throughout, but he didn't respond at all. Visited on the evening of March 3rd

16/03/2026: My boyfriend and I came on Saturday and it was very nice. The music was pleasant and not too loud, which was appreciated. We hadn't made a reservation for the restaurant but were still able to get a table after quite a wait (which is something we did on this occasion). The meal was disappointing because the meat was much overcooked, but the waiter's reaction was exceptional and very much appreciated! This kind of customer service, which is rare these days, was offered naturally, and I wanted to mention it. That's why I plan to come back and try your meat dishes, which look incredible, to form a better opinion. So, I'm giving it 4 stars to reflect the atmosphere and the quality of the staff, despite a few issues that day (which I think were due to it being very busy).

16/03/2026: The atmosphere was nice, but the staff was not too happy to be working that night it seemed. We asked for a song and they said they would play but it never got played and then they were closing so we had to get out. We still had a great time!

13/12/2025: We received a very warm welcome! Good service, very reasonable wait time, nothing to complain about despite the crowd that evening. We can see the difference since the change of ownership and staff!

12/03/2026: A very good experience at La Mache'cool'ette. The food was excellent, with particular attention to presentation (often overlooked in brasseries). We received a warm welcome from a young, smiling, efficient, and attentive team in a pleasantly understated setting. We arrived a little late in the meal service, but we were still welcomed and served at our own pace, without any rush. Thank you very much, we will definitely be back.
