07/12/2024: Nothing to say about the meals... we ate well... the wait to be served was really too long, 1 hour... not to mention the things we forgot... salads, sauces... And then pom-pom, the kindness of the waitress who was apparently put in an "international shit" (those are her own words) because she had to calculate with her calculator to divide the bill... It was very pleasant...!!!

26/09/2024: What a great discovery! Frankly the best (and biggest) rib of beef and Basque ciders that we have had the chance to discover and all that at a very fair price. A big thank you to Joël our server who accompanied us very well during our meal.

You should know that the menu available on the internet is no longer up to date... today it is offered a single dish (rib of beef) in two different menus to choose from (with different starters and desserts), and unlimited cider for 35€, or 39€ depending on the formula chosen But we really enjoyed it, it was excellent from start to finish, and very generous in portions! And helping yourself to the barrels of different ciders adds a fun side and the waiter who advises us is very nice, thank you we had a good time!

01/09/2024: A beautiful address in a small Catalan village. Eating in the shade of the plane tree with Latin music playing in the evening is very pleasant in the summer. Smiling, attentive and efficient staff. Generous plates. Calamari cooked perfectly à la planxa 🥰 with homemade fries. Small parking spaces around or in the courtyard behind. We will come back.

04/09/2024: Un repas d’anniversaire mitigé. On arrive un peu en avance, on nous remet gentiment à la porte nous disant que les cuisine commence dans 10 min; enceinte de 8 mois passé, j’ai trouvé ça très très limite de me faire attendre à la porte dehors. Je connais ce restaurant depuis des années puisque j’étais une des premières clientes de l’ancien patron.. Avec mon mari nous avons été déçus en y allant pour mon anniversaire. On demande une planche de tapas qu’on nous vends avec du fromage, des crudités et de la charcuterie.. étant végétarienne et intolérante au lactose , j’attendais le fromage de brebis/chevre et les crudités avec impatience. Au final pas un crudité, une rondelle de chèvre et un minuscule bout de fromage qu’on ne nous présente pas; Les crudités sans nous demander ont étés remplacés par des billes de mozzarella alors que j’y suis intolérante.. bref. Le plat, border végétal bon, mais rien de transcendant. Des falafels très durs et bourratives. Les frites tellement salées qu’on en a peu manges. On nous a vendu le dessert comme un mets de compétition, finalement un moelleux au chocolat bon mais comme celui de la maison. On nous compte un menu enfant mais aucun dessert n’a été présenté. Même si les produits sont bons et frais, Je trouve les prix quand même élevés et la qualité a légèrement diminuée. Le service rien à dire, personne souriante.

23/09/2024: The setting is very nice with a view of the pool, however the prices charged do not match the dishes served. The roast fish dish did not include samphire which had been replaced without informing us by tomatoes and the pea risotto was made with preserves. The server responded to our questions nonchalantly and no action was taken as no other customers complained about the change.

21/09/2024: A lunch at the Platane alone justifies the trip... From Bordeaux or elsewhere... A moving thought for all those who are at work while you feast your taste buds and your eyes on the terrace well hidden at the back a dead end. I'm there on a weekday and it's packed! The customers all have a smile... Of course it's not cheap... But when you know what's happening in the Basin... It's amply justified!
