07/04/2026: I 100% approve of this kebab! 🔥 As a Turk myself, I can definitely recommend this place. The meat is homemade and the spit-roasted meat is prepared with care; you can taste the difference. 🥙🇹🇷 The kebab is generous, well-seasoned, and the ingredients are fresh—nothing like those mass-produced kebabs. The service is friendly, and the quality is excellent. For me, it's clearly one of the best kebabs in Lyon; I highly recommend it!

24/03/2026: To begin with, when they advertise a veal kebab but it's actually frozen chicken, it's a bad start. The meat has no taste at €9.50 for a kebab, that's a real rip-off. Then, it's true that for that price, I expected it to be more substantial; it was really skimpy on meat, leaving you wanting more. As for the service, it's alright considering the rip-off; at least there was a smile.

05/05/2026: The food was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our waiter was very friendly and the chef was very accommodating. Well done! The only negative point is not your fault: the entrance to your establishment is very poorly signposted in this commercial area.

07/05/2026: A wonderful place, full of history and memories. As a regular visitor, I often go there; the team is fantastic and professional. My only slight disappointment was the absence of Othmann, which was noticeable during my last visit. He usually takes care of us with professionalism and kindness, and I hope to see him again very soon.

07/05/2026: My wife and I visited last night, hoping to enjoy a nice dinner after the ballet was canceled. We were greeted quickly and sat outside. The gentleman that greeted us did not tell anyone else in the restaurant that we were outside, likely due to his flirting with another guest leaving the restaurant. This was disappointing, but I was hopeful that once another staff member came outside and saw us, we would begin to be served. Unfortunately, this was not the case. All in all, we waited about 20 minutes from when we were originally sat, to when we received menus. Another 20 minutes later, nobody had come back to us, so I went inside and asked if we could be sat inside. We were quickly seated, but had the same waitress assigned to us, unfortunately. She did finally come to take our order, but after placing it, we waited 15 minutes for her to bring our wine over. She did apologize for leaving us outside, and the slow service, but it did not improve. Once we received our wine, we watched as the tables on either side of us placed their orders, received their food, and finished their entire meal prior to the waitress realizing we had not received our food. Eventually, I made direct eye contact with our waitress and her jaw dropped as she seemed to realize while looking at me that we didn't have our food. She quickly looked away and ran to the kitchen. About 5 minutes later she brought our steaks out. All of this could have been forgivable, but our steaks were raw. There was some language barrier, and she did ask multiple times how we wanted our steaks cooked because as she said, "it will ruin your steak if we cook wrong". We both ordered medium rare, and corrected her twice when she said we wanted them rare. I understand there are different expectations on the cook of steaks, but it is all about temperature. Our steaks came blue, almost no pink, red only. A nice sear, but barely cooked inside. At this point we were extremely disappointed, and hungry. I think if we hadn't seen our waitress look over at us with the shocked expression and then run to the kitchen, we could have chalked it up to misunderstanding, but having seen that, combined with the poor service throughout, it seems much more likely that she forgot to put our order in, ran to kitchen, fired our steaks, and served them raw. She tried to insist that the steaks were cooked medium rare, until another waiter came over to ask what was wrong. He quickly agreed the steaks were not medium rare. We asked to pay for our wine and promptly left. Would have loved to rate the food, but considering we had none, I can only rate the service, which is the worst we've had in France.

Fast service, excellent advice, and a great atmosphere thanks to him. You can tell he loves what he does, and it makes all the difference! 12/04/2026: I went for lunch with a friend yesterday, Saturday, April 11, 2024, at the HAPPY GRILL in Drancy. It was my first time there, and I wasn't disappointed. We received a warm welcome from the owner. The atmosphere was calm at lunchtime, and the decor was a mix of countless eclectic souvenirs. We started with an aperitif, then shared a main course of two topped with hot and cold mezze (crispy doughnuts, dips (hummus and others), fresh salads, etc.), followed by two main courses of grilled minced meat. We enjoyed everything with an excellent Turkish beer and finished with coffee. It was all very good, enjoyable, and generous. Everything is homemade, of course. I highly recommend it! Thank you to the owner and his team, see you soon.

05/05/2026: First time here, and overall the burgers were really good, no complaints there 👍 However, we had a very unpleasant surprise when it came time to pay… They were €1.30 short of change and couldn't give me any. So I had to leave it with them. Frankly, I think it's outrageous and quite shameful for a business not to be able to give proper change. It's a shame, because the experience could have been much better without this problem.

25/04/2026: Things got off to a bad start with a cocktail completely spilled all over my jeans! The food needs improvement. Too many (young) waitresses, not enough (male) waiters. The food was good, but not worth such an exorbitant price.

14/11/2025: Avoid at all costs! A tourist trap just for the view. Very disappointed with the quality and choice of food. Without warning, there was no lamb and no local fish! A prime example of a restaurant that only capitalizes on its location. I live year-round in Balagne, and I'm disappointed to see this kind of tourist trap just for a sunset view.

25/03/2026: Whether you ordered à la carte or the €16.50 set menu, everything was perfect. The asparagus tart was succulent, the butcher's cut was tender and generous, cooked exactly as requested...everything was top-notch. It's a shame the Tropézienne tart was sold out (even though we arrived very early!). The small steak tartare, however, is very generous, whether served prepared or not, a sure sign of freshness. Drink prices were more than reasonable and the service was excellent. It's a pity they serve the anise-flavored aperitifs pre-mixed...far too much water, right to the top of the glass. Not great for those who like it strong! Be sure to book ahead as this place is very popular...even if it is a bit out of the way!

01/03/2026: I've been eating at this restaurant for about fifteen years, the food is always excellent, their wood-fired meats are superb, their gratin is legendary, and the owner, Jean-Marie, is super friendly! I highly recommend it! 👍👍👍👍
