19/05/2026: I don't know what to tell you, seriously, my wife and I really appreciate good food, and to be honest, this time we went to Hippopotamus in Aéroville (I have to specify that). The starter was absolutely insane! The ravioli and chicken bites were an incredible explosion of flavor, and the burgers were perfectly cooked and excellent. The sides were great, with a delicious homemade sauce. Honestly, I'd give it a 9/10 (you can't give 10, you know, lol). I highly recommend it, and enjoy your meal!

07/05/2026: My wife and I visited last night, hoping to enjoy a nice dinner after the ballet was canceled. We were greeted quickly and sat outside. The gentleman that greeted us did not tell anyone else in the restaurant that we were outside, likely due to his flirting with another guest leaving the restaurant. This was disappointing, but I was hopeful that once another staff member came outside and saw us, we would begin to be served. Unfortunately, this was not the case. All in all, we waited about 20 minutes from when we were originally sat, to when we received menus. Another 20 minutes later, nobody had come back to us, so I went inside and asked if we could be sat inside. We were quickly seated, but had the same waitress assigned to us, unfortunately. She did finally come to take our order, but after placing it, we waited 15 minutes for her to bring our wine over. She did apologize for leaving us outside, and the slow service, but it did not improve. Once we received our wine, we watched as the tables on either side of us placed their orders, received their food, and finished their entire meal prior to the waitress realizing we had not received our food. Eventually, I made direct eye contact with our waitress and her jaw dropped as she seemed to realize while looking at me that we didn't have our food. She quickly looked away and ran to the kitchen. About 5 minutes later she brought our steaks out. All of this could have been forgivable, but our steaks were raw. There was some language barrier, and she did ask multiple times how we wanted our steaks cooked because as she said, "it will ruin your steak if we cook wrong". We both ordered medium rare, and corrected her twice when she said we wanted them rare. I understand there are different expectations on the cook of steaks, but it is all about temperature. Our steaks came blue, almost no pink, red only. A nice sear, but barely cooked inside. At this point we were extremely disappointed, and hungry. I think if we hadn't seen our waitress look over at us with the shocked expression and then run to the kitchen, we could have chalked it up to misunderstanding, but having seen that, combined with the poor service throughout, it seems much more likely that she forgot to put our order in, ran to kitchen, fired our steaks, and served them raw. She tried to insist that the steaks were cooked medium rare, until another waiter came over to ask what was wrong. He quickly agreed the steaks were not medium rare. We asked to pay for our wine and promptly left. Would have loved to rate the food, but considering we had none, I can only rate the service, which is the worst we've had in France.

07/05/2026: A wonderful place, full of history and memories. As a regular visitor, I often go there; the team is fantastic and professional. My only slight disappointment was the absence of Othmann, which was noticeable during my last visit. He usually takes care of us with professionalism and kindness, and I hope to see him again very soon.

18/05/2026: A true explosion of flavors and colors on the plate 😍 Succulent, generous, and perfectly balanced dishes. A feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds! ✨🍽️, not to mention the excellent service. An address we recommend without hesitation 👌

08/05/2026: The restaurant disappointed us from the moment we made the reservation, as we were asked to arrive at 12:45 PM to facilitate organization. Upon arrival, we were seated on the terrace in chilly weather, while the dining rooms were empty. The food was served lukewarm, which did not improve the experience. The only positive point was the friendliness of the staff.

08/06/2026: I came specifically for a steak tartare at LITTLE ITALY at 1:30 PM (I should mention it was a Monday at 1:30 PM). Once we'd finished our salad, we were told they were out. I find this appalling for a chain worthy of the name. I understand better now why some restaurants in this group are closing.

09/05/2026: We were there two years ago, and there were a few minor things that could be improved. We went back this year and had a great time. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. There was a wide variety of choices at the buffet (various salads, seafood, excellent fish loaf with a curry-like sauce, etc.). We had the burger with homemade fries—it was amazing! 😁 This restaurant is so popular that it's best to make a reservation. We will definitely go back! 🥰

30/04/2026: A superb discovery in the company of a friend/local craftsman (from the painting workshop) at this restaurant with its generous portions and perfectly paced dishes. I drove past it for years on my way to or from my office in La Flotte without ever having eaten there, and I simply regret not having gone sooner! Easy parking, two areas: on the terrace or inside. All-you-can-eat buffet for starters. The buffet is fresh and varied, with seafood, charcuterie, and crudités. Everything is fresh and delicious. As soon as we finished, the kitchen sent out the main course: well-cooked, high-quality meat, generous portions—very much appreciated. We moved on to the panna cotta (see photo) for dessert, which was a real treat. Smiles and friendliness during service, with thoughtful touches like refilling the water and bread without us having to ask. In short, a thousand thanks, and for everyone else: I highly recommend it!

18/05/2026: If I could give zero stars, I would have preferred to give one star. Arrived at 9:30 PM and left at 10:30 PM without having received anything from our order!! And no apology when we left. Very unhappy with the wait… They served customers who arrived a few minutes after us, and we got NOTHING! If you knew you weren't going to serve us, just say so directly, instead of letting customers starve. Frankly disappointed! It just goes to show the rumors are true. AVOID AT ALL COSTS…

18/05/2026: They food wasn't well cooked. They don't even deserve for a star. Also when I asked them to scan my QR code to receive points they said that the internet is not working. They can't scan. They are just scamming people. Don't go to this brunch.

25/04/2026: Things got off to a bad start with a cocktail completely spilled all over my jeans! The food needs improvement. Too many (young) waitresses, not enough (male) waiters. The food was good, but not worth such an exorbitant price.

14/06/2026: The chef is very generous! Very hearty and delicious! The best trout in the region and delicious fried carp. Don't hesitate to ask for a doggy bag on your way out. It would be a shame to leave without!
