06/09/2024: We used this caterer for our wedding meal. The buffet was very well served from the aperitif to the cheese.
However, communication was non-existent, no meeting was organized and difficulty reaching him by telephone. He contacted us 5 days before our wedding to find out our choices (salad, appetizer, etc.).
Unfortunately, a great stress for us because he failed to reassure us and live up to our expectations for this big day.
04/09/2024: Top notch caterer.
He delighted young and old from the beginning to the end of the meal.
Only positive feedback. We made a roast pig, the best we had ever eaten.
He doesn't do tastings so we had some slight concerns but in the end everything was delicious.
A big thank you to Jérôme and his team.

04/09/2024: I simply asked that my coffee be made in the filter-port espresso machine (mc coffee side) and not in the automatic machine (as a coffee lover I can feel the difference) and I had deliberately done so. order from the mc café tab at the terminal.
Although it was early in the morning and there weren't too many people, the employee was really not happy and made it clear to me, he didn't respond to my thanks at the end.
01/09/2024: The service was very very long. The food was not really good, we took a cbo to taste, the result was that the chicken was harder than a stone and the same for the mc smart wrap.. the fries were cold.

The food was very good, the views were beautiful and the atmosphere was very friendly.

19/09/2024: L'établissement est bien situé a un croisement central du bourg, facile à trouver et facile a indiquer pour un rendez-vous. Relooké brasserie "jeune" avec une carte variée dont tous les plats dont celui du jour n'étaient pas disponibles lors de notre déjeuner vers midi en semaine. Ambiance bistro avec service en salle où en terrasse. Pas recommandé pmr en salle car 2 marches à gravir. Prix modéré.
01/09/2024: Onglet calciné, sauce industrielle, haricot surpuissant, galettes de pomme de terre limite daubes, panure au camembert et non camembert frit. A éviter. Mais service sympa.

The service (owner?) was very grumpy and unfriendly. The tarte flambée was served on cardboard with a board underneath. It was paper thin and not worth the price. The salad was appealing, but too expensive for the small quantity.

The portions do not represent Alsatian generosity.

18/12/2024: Received with a smile. The waitress honestly let us choose our place. We enjoyed the dish of the day. Fresh and in quantity. Without much culinary pretension but frankly good! Nice place in summer but nice in winter. When visiting “little France”, honestly think about it.
16/12/2024: Very good, cozy little restaurant with good food. Very warm welcome from the waitress with good advice on places to visit. I highly recommend it 👍

We wait 30' before the waitress shows up who offers us a long, double espresso coffee.
Coffee lover, I take a double.
30' later a lounging dish is served...
Drinking a long drink is just not coffee and my palate knows the difference.
It's good for the owner's business.

17/08/2024: It’s a shame that the cuisine is not up to par with the place and the service! We waited more than 45 minutes to be served, and our dish was no longer available so we had to fall back on the 5-meat sauerkraut, which was clearly not at the level expected in the heart of Strasbourg. The flam was OK, the rest very very average. 5 stars to the waitress, very friendly and welcoming.

02/09/2024: Chic Asian fusion restaurant with lovely outdoor seating. Limited but delicious veggie options. Wonderful staff - Emily made us very welcome and was great fun.
13/08/2024: We booked well in advance and rang to change the time to an hour later. This was accepted. There was some mix up but the manager was rude and aggressive . Not apologetic nor accommodating at all.
Given the attitude maybe it was as well that we had to go elsewhere

24/08/2024: We have been coming to L'indou for a long time (easily 15 years) it has always been good and welcoming, but this evening very disappointed with the welcome, the meal and the service. It's time to make changes and refreshes.
The waitress brought me back my Ricard already diluted with water, the fries white and soft, we had the impression that they were in a hurry to close because it was so quick, not even time to finish the aperitif that we were already on. served, not asked if they wanted to drink something with the meal, more raw vegetables than meat in the doner....
It's a shame because this place really WAS a Rendezvous.

Meat is not edible , kebab meat was the worse . fries are soft and sauce all over fries.
