18/03/2026: Disgusting, avoid at all costs. My plate smelled rotten. I asked for it to be replaced, and they tried to charge me for two plates. Terrible atmosphere, fish not fresh, avoid at all costs. Not to mention the manager yelling at her employees. It was shameful.

28/01/2026: Starter: Fish soup – not great. Main course: Cod steak – tasteless, dry, rubbery – very mediocre. Dessert: Chocolate fondant – good taste but not homemade.

21/05/2026: I really like this place. The terrace is very pleasant, especially on sunny days. The food is good. The pastries and cookies are delicious! I especially loved the Tropezienne tart! I highly recommend it! 😊👍

17/05/2026: I bought a Caesar salad and a slice of galette des rois there in January. The salad was really meager for €8, and the galette was quite dry. The only thing worth buying might be the Tropezienne tart, but the rest is clearly overpriced and mediocre.

10/04/2026: Stopped in for a quick lunch. The daily special, ravioli, arrived cold after 40 minutes. Luckily, the youngest and very friendly waiter somewhat redeemed the situation.

16/03/2026: The dishes are well presented and of fairly good quality. However, the behavior of some servers could be improved: politeness and respect should always be the norm.

28/03/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They're trying to pass themselves off as good as they used to be, but it's not what it used to be. The salesperson was arrogant and dismissive. The glasses were barely half full. He offered to charge me an extra euro for a slightly fuller container, claiming that the takeaway container was bigger than the one I was eating in. Unbelievable! I went a few streets away and got the same full container, plus a lid for hygiene and safety, for the same price. Also, be wary of where the pastries come from and how they're stored. They're not always fresh.

16/01/2026: Stopped off here in Martigues for a couple of hours on a road trip between Marseille and Arles. Peaceful and relaxing to go for a paddle in the water.

24/09/2025: Summer bar on the beach. Loungers and tapas are available. Relax and unwind with your feet (almost) in the water.

19/12/2025: Excellent service! The attendant was very welcoming and attentive. We ordered mussels and chicken escalope with a delicious pepper sauce. Our food arrived very quickly, and the service was very friendly 😊 We will definitely be back!

15/05/2026: Dear Marrou Prado customers, have you changed the brand of coffee? It's bitter and undrinkable. The pastries displayed at the register are stale and tasteless. Things are disappointing at the moment. This is the second time we've been let down. What a shame!

30/03/2026: Terrible experience. We booked a triple room for two nights. At arrival, the electronic key didn't work. We got a new one at the desk, and after some tries, it opened the door. We went out and came back at 11 PM. It was very cold outside. The key didn't work again. We went to the reception. The receptionist gave us another key and told us not to put it near the phone (we already knew this). We tried again, but it still didn't work. We called the receptionist to our door. He saw the problem while we were freezing outside. He opened the door with a physical key, took our cards, and told us "we will see tomorrow morning". So, we were in a room without keys, unable to go out, in a half-empty hotel. Inside the room, the third bed was missing sheets and a duvet. Worse, the pillowcase had blood on it. We went to the reception again. They just gave us the linens to make the bed ourselves. The next morning, we went to breakfast. The buffet breakfast was actually quite rich and good. We hoped they had a solution for the room, but nothing. The night employee even took the only physical master key with him. We had to wait. Their new solution was: "come to the reception every time you need to open your door". We had to stay for two nights, so this idea was total madness. We complained again. Finally, the only good employee came to check the door. He understood the door battery was dead and changed it. After that, it finally worked.

08/03/2026: The hotel was quiet and very clean. The welcome was friendly. The restaurant had a limited selection but was perfectly adequate. One small drawback: only one chair in the room and only two towels in the bathroom, no hand towels... and no coat hook, just one. Overall, we were still very happy. Thank you!

28/04/2026: We ordered biryani and they just stir-fried rice with a spoonful of sauce, completely tasteless and unappetizing. A real waste!

22/05/2026: A huge thank you to the staff for everything you could expect from a restaurant. The storefront is unassuming. You have to go inside to understand. They were truly very friendly. They even took my serious health conditions into account and offered me a special meal. The prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was really welcoming. Thank you again for this relaxing moment away from the noise of the boulevard and for all the smiles and kindness. I highly recommend it.
