29/08/2026: They're lucky to be in a good location and to exist thanks to their history. There's no one to serve you, and when you complain after 20 minutes, they tell you to go next door. Which we did. I've had good times here before, but it's become an incredibly unpleasant place. The trendy, hipster waitresses seem tired and jaded, and are rude and impolite. I will never come back here.

28/08/2026: This restaurant offers good, modern take on local cuisine, such as aioli with grilled sea bream. The desserts are homemade and very well done. The decor is average (a sort of casual chic with peeling paint and exposed plaster), and the service was a bit forgetful when it came time to order dessert.

14/08/2026: I had dinner at this pizzeria during a trip to Marseille and found the atmosphere casual yet pleasant, the staff extremely friendly, and the pizzas delicious and huge. We were even offered limoncello and asked if we wanted to wrap the leftover pizza. The price was fair.

11/08/2026: I ordered two pizzas at 7:45 PM and waited 30 minutes for delivery. At 8:45 PM, still no pizza. I called again, and they told me they'd deliver in two minutes. At 9:15 PM, still no pizza, and finally, the delivery driver told me he was outside my building! False, I was already there, so I told him I was going to eat somewhere else! So I called the owner to tell him he'd lost me as a customer! This is the second time we've encountered this same problem in our building. So I don't recommend them.

24/08/2026: A truly wonderful time at the Set Club. We had a delicious meal and the garden setting is absolutely lovely. It felt like a little taste of vacation that lingered on, which was very pleasant. The staff were very helpful and attentive. It had been three or four years since my last visit, and I'm so glad I booked a table to end August on a high note.

21/08/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A hidden gem you absolutely must discover I've been to the Sept Club restaurant several times, and there's one dish that alone is worth the trip: the salmon tartare with crispy rice. A true discovery! I was so captivated by the combination of textures and flavors that I even asked the chef for the recipe. It's become a must-try on the menu for me. And everything else is just as good: quality ingredients, generous portions, and exquisite presentation. Here, the pleasure begins with the eyes and continues on the plate. It's as visually stunning as it is delicious. Add to that the pool right next door, excellent cocktails, and a pleasant atmosphere: everything is in place for a wonderful experience. An address I gladly return to, and above all, a salmon tartare with crispy rice that you absolutely must try!

21/08/2026: What a nasty surprise this morning: the price of cucumbers was €1.40 on August 17th and 19th, and today, August 21st, it's €2.18 each!!! That's a 55% increase in just four days!! Even with the "club" card offering a 10% discount, customers are being ripped off. And this isn't the first time prices have gone off the rails: the DCCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control) is an organization to contact for any observed price gouging... customers must remain vigilant...

21/08/2026: The cashier at register 38 upstairs is extremely unpleasant. She tells customers not to come and to go to other registers, even though it's open. Then she makes inappropriate comments when customers use meal vouchers or the Carrefour loyalty program. Customers are free to make their own choices, and employees shouldn't be giving advice or lecturing others in the course of their work. This happened at register 38 on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 8:50 PM at the Carrefour Grand Littoral in Marseille. Sincerely.

31/08/2026: Everything was perfect, although perhaps 50 minutes of waiting is too long.

12/08/2026: We arrived to order at 10:30 PM. If they had simply told us they were closed, we would have understood and moved on. However, upon arrival, we were greeted with: "Hurry up, we're closing. If you want a pizza, it has to be now." The person preparing the pizzas explained that they were supposed to have closed at 9:30 PM. This was followed by a condescending, "We want to go home" and "It would be convenient if you came back tomorrow." I completely understand that after a long day, one can be tired, and perhaps simply telling us, "We're closed, we're no longer serving," or "We have to close, would it be possible to order soon?" would have been more appropriate. I myself run a business and I know what this entails. I don't believe the customer is always right, but respect should be mutual. When my friend simply asked if it was possible to replace the tomato base on a pizza with a cream base, the person sighed before replying, "If it says tomato, it's tomato base, but I can make it with cream." I can't judge the pizzas themselves, as we left. They looked very good, seemed homemade, and smelled very appetizing. My opinion concerns only the service we received. I didn't hear a single "please" during the entire conversation. Perhaps it was just an off day. But as a customer, that's unfortunately the impression I'll be left with. You still have my utmost respect for your work and the business you're trying to run.

02/07/2026: A very bad experience at Luminyen. I waited for about an hour in the sun in a long queue, only to find out once I got to the register that there was practically nothing left to eat, just mozzarella sticks and nuggets. The biggest problem isn't just the lack of choice, but especially the complete absence of any warning. The information is given very discreetly at the checkout, when the entire queue could have been informed well in advance. This would have prevented many people from wasting their lunch break unnecessarily. The pace is also very slow, which makes the wait even more unpleasant, especially in the heat. I went back to work without having eaten. In comparison, other options in the area like Chez Martine, the Crous, or L'Hexagone are much more efficient; they serve faster and warn customers when there's very little left. It's a shame, but in my opinion, the organization clearly needs to be improved.
