08/06/2026: A complete rip-off!!! The only good thing here is the location. But having to wait over half an hour for a beer, and then having to pay €12 for a 0.5L beer and €6 for a 0.25L beer, is outrageous, even for Cassis. And on top of that, you have to sit on bar stools that are too low. Never again!!!!!

06/06/2026: We came for a snack, but the staff insisted we come inside the restaurant. The staff and owner were haughty and rude to us, completely ignoring us. When we ordered, the person we spoke to didn't even respond, then kissed one of her colleagues on the cheek before coming back to us after five minutes. While we were waiting for our fries, the manager/owner chatted with her colleagues, making fun of us even though we were right next to them. We heard her say, "We don't care, we only give them fries, and they go in a bag for the bread anyway." This was a very unprofessional attitude and a clear lack of consideration for customers. It's unacceptable to be ignored just because we're only going to the snack bar and don't seem important enough to be taken seriously. I highly recommend going to the snack bar just downstairs on the beach; the staff is great, and the fries are delicious!

18/11/2025: A dream location for this private beach situated at the beginning of the Kennedy Corniche. However, the place needs some maintenance, especially the very rusty metalwork. Sun lounger prices are quite high outside of peak season, and the owner isn't very friendly... But hey, the view quickly makes you forget all that!

14/10/2025: Avoid!!! Terrible service and very, very mediocre pizzas. What a shame for such a beautiful place.

19/05/2026: Large room with enough space to move around. The food is good for an all-you-can-eat buffet; there's a good selection. Weekday prices are the same as weekend prices. One drink is included. However, the service is poor; no smiles, unpleasant, and you feel like you're bothering them when you ask for something. Only the young man at the bar was friendly.

12/05/2026: A disaster! We went on a Sunday evening (2 adults and 4 children). €93 (€23 per adult and €12 per child). The food was awful, the staff were either unpleasant or nonexistent, the clientele was disrespectful, and the toilets were like something you'd find in a train station or motorway service area.

25/05/2026: €25 for a sun lounger for service like that is frankly outrageous. It took 30 minutes just to get the menus, then almost an hour's wait for the food. The food was good, but served cold… especially the gratinated mussels, which arrived practically frozen. Then, it was impossible to get a simple Coke and ice cubes without waiting another 40 minutes. And when we politely asked about our order, the servers responded, almost annoyed, explaining that they were serving other customers… except we were customers too. However, when it came to taking payment, there was a huge crowd: I barely had time to finish a fry before the card machine was already on the table. The most shocking thing was the towel situation: I was told it would cost €10 to rent a bath towel. I went to get the money and immediately heard another customer pay €5 for the same rental. When I asked why, I was told, "She's a regular." The season has barely begun, so it's hard to believe… It really gives the impression that the prices change depending on who you are. Special mention, however, goes to the receptionist, who was the only one to truly handle the situation with professionalism and kindness. She took the time to listen to our complaints and even offered us a fruit platter, two bottles of water, and an ice cream as an apology. Thankfully, there was at least this gesture to somewhat redeem the experience. It's a real shame, because the setting is nice, but the service and lack of consideration completely ruin the experience.

17/04/2026: Marius is fantastic! The view is superb! This is our third time here, and it's always great! We're at a beach restaurant because it's simple, but at least the ingredients are fresh.

01/06/2026: Very good cakes, I had a fruit tart and it was delicious. I don't think they were frozen. The price isn't cheap, but the taste is there.

18/10/2025: Good food, very decent dishes but we really pissed off the waitress manager, no friendliness, definitely don't go there if you have young children because she clearly doesn't like them. So good but if you're looking for friendliness and a decent welcome in a restaurant to avoid

25/05/2026: Having a drink here at sunset with music and attentive staff... We love it!

25/05/2026: Terrible service, interminable wait. To be served salmon tartare (the daily special) that was still frozen on the plate. No apologies, and we were charged for the aperitif and wine. Avoid at all costs.

08/06/2026: The wait was absolutely awful, 25 minutes for two burgers when there were no orders in the queue.

04/05/2026: At first glance, the menu displayed at the entrance offered numerous sandwiches, which prompted us to sit down. Once we went to order, the server offered us only four sandwiches, forcing us to go outside and show him the menu we'd seen at the entrance to demonstrate THEIR selection. After placing our order, we received two warm Cokes. The sandwiches themselves were a joke: one piece of bread and two tomatoes… The most shocking thing was that as soon as the sandwiches arrived at our table, we were expected to pay the bill. Unheard of! Are we in a restaurant or McDonald's? Avoid at all costs!!

03/06/2026: I have rarely seen such a lack of business acumen. The welcome was cold, there was no listening, no desire to help or advise. It felt more like dealing with someone trying to close a sale at all costs than someone trying to satisfy a customer. Kindness and professionalism seemed to have been completely forgotten. A particularly unpleasant experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

30/05/2026: My favorite bakery in La Ciotat!!! The bread is excellent quality; I freeze some for lazy days :)) (I try to keep my budget to a minimum, but their traditional baguettes are my absolute favorite). And I always get incredibly friendly sales assistants; it's a pleasure to come and get my bread!!!

25/05/2026: I used to go there regularly, but the taste is bland, even with extras. Last time, the cordon bleu in my dad's taco was black, and yesterday it was bad too; the fries were soaked in oil, and I had unbearable stomach aches. One star because Google makes it so.

03/05/2026: The tacos were very dry. There was no sauce; I asked for white sauce and didn't even get any. And everything else was dry.

12/01/2026: Tacos made by people who have probably never eaten tacos. It's not cheese sauce, it's Kiri cheese and milk...🤮🤢🤮 Unqualified staff. And just because you put tons of spices on the fries doesn't mean it's going to be good.

24/05/2026: Surprised by how clean the place was despite the crowds. Impeccable service, hot food. And that's coming from a former McDonald's manager.

10/05/2026: McDonald's La Valentine no longer offers the MacVeggie burger but instead offers the 280 Veggie. This consists of a potato patty between two slices of bread. At the end of the meal, you've only eaten potato and bread 👍 It's pathetic. McDonald's is backtracking, and that's a real shame for vegetarians.
