27/08/2026: A very warm and authentic place. A very wide selection of gourmet groceries, and the prices are very reasonable, as are the prices of the food and drinks served, which are of very good quality. Definitely worth a try!

10/07/2026: Didn't eat, just drank beers in front of the large screen during the France/Morocco quarter-final. The owner refused to serve me water in my bottle, a disgrace! From January 1, 2022, certain establishments open to the public (ERP) are required to provide at least one drinking fountain accessible to the public. Clearly, a place to avoid!

14/07/2026: A beautiful, peaceful place. The owners are very kind. The room was clean and tastefully decorated; the only minor drawback was the lack of a second electrical outlet. The sound of cicadas in this idyllic setting was wonderful. The complimentary fresh lemonade upon arrival was much appreciated during the heatwave. In short, don't hesitate, I highly recommend it! And we will certainly return every year!

The owner has strong values, is very professional, and listens to his customers. Furthermore, the customers who are complaining are customers who have never set foot in this restaurant and who, elsewhere, are more racist than anything else...

06/08/2026: A very convenient spot on Avenue de la Touloubre for lunch. As for the food: classic, everyday fare, nothing special. It's simple, decent, but quite ordinary. The service, however, is efficient and well-suited for a break. In short, a place where you come for the friendly atmosphere and simplicity more than the food itself! 29/07/2026: Hello, I've been coming here once a week since 2022, and I've also been with several new people. And this is the first time I've been disappointed. The waitress was unpleasant and kept making snide remarks. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back to this restaurant, despite the two lovely cooks. She also made the same remarks to other customers. In short, disappointed.

22/07/2026: Very dirty. Risk of food poisoning (it requires an inspection by health services). Doesn't display prices (he looks you in the face and quotes a price of his choosing).

18/07/2026: So I advise you to eat there during the day, but in the evening around 10 or 11 pm, don't go. Drug dealing outside, right in front of the door, cigarette vendors, rude and unpleasant, they stare at you! Employees in shorts and flip-flops who look bored... and have absolutely no desire to work... assaults outside, people spitting, undocumented people who bother you. Don't go there in the evening, the hygiene is horrible... in short, be careful, you risk your life in this kind of place, there's a lot of cleaning up to do. ...especially in front of the door, the tables full of people watching everything that moves to the right and left of the snack bar. Why don't you barricade it in, make a terrace where people feel safe and comfortable?

19/01/2026: I booked a table for eight at La Velada two weeks in advance for a birthday celebration. We ordered food and cocktails for almost €400, and at 11:30 PM, just as the party was starting to get going, they kicked us out of the table to make room for another group! This is unacceptable! The least they could do is warn us in advance that the table could be given away at any moment, because we were left out in the cold before the party had even started! Avoid this place, especially for a birthday! What's more, they didn't hesitate to film us during the evening and put it on their social media, even though we were kicked out afterward!

08/01/2026: First time at La Velada for my friends and me. A very pleasant surprise, especially the wood-fired pizza which was excellent. A superb atmosphere in this lively restaurant – we'll be back very soon!
