07/06/2026: I stayed for two nights and the room was tiny, dark, and very damp. Not to mention the broken toilet door, which was completely useless, offering no privacy and being dangerous due to exposed nails. I don't recommend it if you're looking for comfort, even for just one night. I was disappointed; the photos on the website are misleading. However, the staff is very pleasant, attentive, and responsive (5/5). The hotel is well-located but lacks secure parking. It's a shame the staff is perfect, no complaints there, but the room needs a complete overhaul; it's not worth the price.

01/06/2026: I want to inform you of two things: Don't lose anything in this hotel; the thieving staff will never return it, especially if it's a bearded man with glasses who didn't give me my bag that I left downstairs at reception for 5 minutes on my way back to my room. When I asked about the security cameras, they strangely didn't work. A complaint has been filed against this establishment and the manager, who seems to be trying to cover up this theft. Then there's the infernal night with the constant, loud motorcycles and other cars speeding by. The windows aren't soundproofed at all. A cleaning lady enters your room without knocking. This hotel is a great place to have a complete meltdown. Well done, anyway! 👋

22/06/2026: A family-run restaurant where the welcome is very warm and the food is excellent. A loyal customer for almost 30 years, I've had the pleasure of introducing it to many people, and they've all become regulars. A must-try.

13/03/2026: Calm atmosphere. Quick and very pleasant service. Delicious food from appetizer to dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Very reasonable prices. A major plus: the fried food barely smelled afterward. We'll definitely be back.

26/06/2026: It's unacceptable to keep a Savannah cat in a tiny enclosure, with a filthy or empty water bowl, and feeding it on restaurant scraps. This is absolutely unacceptable; this animal needs a suitable living environment and proper care. Please do the right thing and transfer it to a rescue organization. Thank you.

15/06/2026: Meal on the terrace of Villa Madrigal The sunset over the port of Carry is very romantic. The menu is very original and extensive, especially if you're looking to try a lobster pasta dish. Or perhaps a Hawaiian tartare? And finish with a strawberry carpaccio with a scoop of lemon ice cream. All accompanied by a sublime Patrimonio wine. I highly recommend this establishment overlooking the port of Carry. Reservations are recommended.

26/06/2026: The food was decent, but the service was disorganized. The dishes arrived haphazardly, one starter was forgotten, and the dessert from the daily menu was no longer available. Disappointed, especially since it had been so well-regarded. What a shame.

20/06/2026: A wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and attentive. As for the food, it's a delight—a small menu, fresh, high-quality ingredients, which is rare these days! There was a change of ownership in December 2025. You can go without hesitation; you won't be disappointed 😉

19/09/2025: Laurent passed away this summer. It is with great sadness that we lost this unique man with a big heart. He will forever remain our beloved host in our pallet village of Le Tholonet. 29/08/2026: The ingredients are fine. However, the state of the toilets is appalling. They're old, dirty, and the toilet brush is at least 10 years old. Seeing the state of cleanliness in the toilets makes you wonder about the kitchens. The benches are torn. Clearly, this establishment doesn't prioritize care or hygiene.

14/09/2026: Personally, I was very disappointed with the experience. There were six of us today, and it was difficult to even get someone to take our order. Then the dishes arrived haphazardly, with the appetizers arriving after the main courses, for example. The cooking times were completely inconsistent, and I was disappointed with how my dish was prepared. I ordered a rare beef tagliata, which arrived very rare and was cut very roughly, so I couldn't appreciate the meat. A colleague ordered a rare steak, which arrived well-done. We asked for bread and received three stale pieces, even though there were six of us. We were also a bit disappointed with the portion sizes. We could have taken advantage of the unlimited fries, but with the delay in taking our order and the time it took to be served, we had to leave. On the plus side, the place isn't too bad. In short, we tried it for a change, but I don't think they'll be seeing us again.

12/09/2026: Upon arrival, the restaurant looked promising with its lovely outdoor terrace, etc. However, after sitting down with my husband and two children at 8 pm, we weren't served until 9:40 pm for the children and 10 pm for us. It's a disgrace. The wine we ordered had already been quickly drunk before the meat arrived, and naturally, the children were overcooked, even though we kept asking, "Will the little one's pizza and the little one's pasta nuggets be arriving soon?" to which the unfriendly waiter replied, "I'll go and find out." (lol) It's a shame because the food was good nonetheless, but almost two hours to be served is ridiculous, especially since the restaurant wasn't full when we arrived! My friends and I had thought, "This restaurant is great, ideally located, 10-15 minutes from each of us," but in the end, I don't think we'll be going back.

03/08/2026: My husband, son, and I stopped by yesterday on a whim. A vintage place, but absolutely fantastic. A family-run business, friendly welcome, excellent food. A nice bonus is that you can buy regional products (honey, beer, etc.). We'll gladly return next time, and maybe even stay overnight.

09/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome from the owner and the waitress; they were both incredibly attentive. The meal was delicious, and for dessert we were treated to a flambéed Baked Alaska cooked right at our table. Don't let the slightly dated appearance of the place put you off; the most important thing is what's on your plate: generous portions and quality ingredients!

22/08/2026: Looking for a baker in Aix-en-Provence? Look no further than Marie Blachère, they have a variety of excellent quality breads, I highly recommend them.

29/07/2026: I showed up one July morning around 10:00 hoping to enjoy a croissant, but there weren't any croissants for sale. I thought it was a joke, but no, there were no croissants, the pride of France! So I had to go to the competitor who had them to spare. Thanks to them! As for Marie Blachère, that's it for me.

25/08/2026: Highly recommended restaurant! No waiting, fantastic servers with smiles and a great sense of humor. The dishes were excellent and generous, a truly convivial experience. I highly recommend it and will gladly return.
