30/03/2026: A FLAWLESS experience from start to finish! 👏🏻 A magnificent, classy, ​​bucolic, and refined place, but not pretentious. The welcome was perfect, the CUISINE incredible, with fresh, high-quality ingredients, perfectly executed cooking and recipes (from French/Provençal classics to must-try grilled dishes), and the prices are more than justified by the quality! Starters €16, main courses between €20 and €26, and a single Dish of the Day for €16! Drinks are also reasonably priced (a large bottle of Coke by the glass for €3.50! And a half-liter of very good white wine for €10 🍷). Unfortunately, we didn't have time for dessert, but we'll be back as soon as possible to enjoy it more 😄. The service was impeccable and professional, without a single hitch, the atmosphere cozy and relaxed, the terrace splendid and must be lovely in good weather, and the interior is all stone with a large fireplace used for both charcoal grilling and cooking on a griddle! The only downside is that the interior is a bit noisy because the sounds echo, but you quickly forget about it because it's so comfortable! Perhaps some light background music would be nice? In short, a real treat that I urge you to try as soon as possible 😉 Thank you for this excellent experience 🙏🏻

14/04/2026: Disappointment... The waitresses were efficient, but the food took a very long time to arrive and was very bland. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly good either; it was rather uninteresting. We ate because we were hungry, but we certainly won't be back. The prices are far too high for what you get. The other places nearby (next door or across the street) are much better. What a shame...

09/03/2026: L'Olivier offers a variety of generous daily specials. Classic French dishes are served in portions that allow you to try them again and again. Those with smaller appetites can take the leftovers home, but it seems many plates return to the kitchen quite empty! The pizzas are also definitely worth trying if you haven't found what you're looking for among the daily specials or the regular menu, or you can order one to take home. Generosity is in L'Olivier's DNA. The quality of the welcome, the service, and the food will keep you coming back. It's not a pretentious restaurant, but a high-quality one. In the warmer months, you can enjoy dining on the terrace. You can go there with complete confidence; you won't be disappointed.

Ein echtes Highlight sind also die Cocktails: richtig gut gemixt und für die Lage unschlagbar günstig. We are going to be Essen and doing Price ohne viel Schnickschnack sucht, ist hier genau richtig. It's great, how big it is! Great find in Marseille! “Le Joseph” is wonderfully simple and down-to-earth. The beef tartare was top-notch—fresh and perfectly seasoned. Another huge plus: the cocktails are great and very affordably priced for the area. Everything was spot on. If you're looking for a relaxed vibe with quality food and drinks without the fuss, this is the place! A great address in Marseille! "Le Joseph" is a simple and authentic place, just the way we like them. The beef tartare was excellent, very fresh and well-seasoned. Special mention goes to the cocktails: really good and very reasonably priced for the neighborhood. Everything was perfect, without any fuss. A sure bet for a pleasant evening with good food!

We celebrated my partner's 34th birthday, and it was one of the only restaurants that accepted our reservation with six children. (Apologies to other customers if we inconvenienced anyone…) In any case, a huge thank you, we had a fantastic evening! In addition to the excellent service, the food was delicious. I highly recommend it!

24/04/2026: This must be the only Chinese restaurant in Marseille where you actually get Chinese food and not a mix of everything from Asia. They also have the best eggplant in Marseille. Always make a reservation because otherwise you'll never get a table. Be aware of the loud customers, but at least you feel comfortable doing the same. The young waitress was so nice.

16/03/2026: I ate an Indian taco. It was really bad! It had absolutely no flavor; I couldn't even identify the ingredients. There was as much sauce as there were ingredients, so I think they had a problem with the proportions. I don't think reheating a taco in the microwave is the best way to cook it for customer satisfaction. The price on the menu wasn't the price I paid... In short, I definitely don't recommend it. The staff, however, were friendly.
