06/07/2026: We had been coming to this restaurant for years, several times each summer, and we always recommended it to everyone we knew. It's precisely because we were such loyal customers that what followed was all the more disappointing. The meal went very well until dessert. We ordered two chocolate fondant cakes: one was perfectly gooey, the other completely overcooked, dry, and dense. We simply and politely pointed this out to the waiter, without being aggressive, thinking it was an isolated incident. After a quick trip to the kitchen, he returned with this response: “Your daughter was lucky.” In other words, the botched dessert in front of me was considered normal. No self-reflection, no apology, no spontaneous offer of a replacement. It wasn't the cake itself that was the problem. Nor was it the €9 dessert, especially when you're paying a bill of €132 for three people. What's unacceptable is the blatant disregard shown to a customer who simply reports a clearly defective product. When I expressed my disappointment, the owner finally offered a refund… but only after the situation had escalated. A gesture of goodwill is only valuable when it's sincere and spontaneous, not when it's offered reluctantly. The final straw was the owner's intervention. She came out of the restaurant to tell me, "You're the ones who are pathetic, making a fuss over a chocolate cake when people are starving." A completely irrelevant, inappropriate, and deeply disrespectful argument. We were simply in a restaurant, as a family, paying for a service. As with any service, it's normal to expect a product that meets our standards and a minimum of consideration when a problem is reported. What's making us leave today isn't a chocolate cake. It's the arrogance, the complete lack of self-reflection, and the customer service that, in our opinion, are unworthy of an establishment claiming to be a restaurant. Losing loyal customers over a €9 dessert is already regrettable. Losing them through a lack of professionalism and humility is even more so. We won't be back. And that's a real shame, because we genuinely liked this place.

The entire team was remarkably kind and attentive, paying special attention to my children, which touched me deeply. The dishes were excellent, generous, and perfectly cooked. Everything was delicious! The service was impeccable from beginning to end: smiling, warm, quick, and always attentive. I had a wonderful time with my family and I want to thank the entire team for their professionalism and exceptional hospitality. This is the kind of place that makes you want to return without hesitation. If you're ever in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. 15/08/2026: A pizza machine outside to make pizzas in 3 minutes, but unplugged when the restaurant is closed... What a joke. Make way for someone else, you're tired.

04/08/2026: Pizzas are overpriced for the quality, and they used coarse semolina instead of semolina flour in the dough: so it's basically a couscous pizza (hard on the outside and soggy inside). Is this a mistake or a new experimental recipe?

09/08/2026: We had lunch as a family and thoroughly enjoyed our meal (dish of the day - roast veal, new potatoes and grilled peppers - & lemon meringue tarts) and the quick and very friendly service. The portions were generous. Truly, everything was perfect. The setting is very pleasant.

09/08/2026: It's always a pleasure to come to Chez Mamine's terrace. We're served with a smile, in a very reasonable time considering the number of tables to serve, and the portions are delicious! Don't change a thing.

14/07/2026: Small hotel on the road to Napoleon Beach. A simple hotel, but it really does the job! It has everything you'd expect from a larger one. The staff is very friendly. The hotel restaurant is very nice, and the food is excellent. We'll be back! ☺️
