26/04/2026: We were in Trouville, unsure where to eat, and as we passed by Marinette Sylvain's restaurant, the waiter told us a joke, which made us want to go in. Everything was perfect: perfect service, perfect meal. Perfect, we'll be back.

19/06/2026: What a fantastic discovery! For just €29, we had a three-course menu with several choices for each course, and every single dish was outstanding. The flavors were incredibly refined and creative, with combinations that kept surprising us in the best possible way. Everything was beautifully prepared and simply melted in the mouth. We also tried some local drinks and interesting fusions, which made the experience even more memorable. The value for money is exceptional. Just 10 minutes from the city center, this place was one of the highlights of our trip. Judging by the number of locals, it’s clearly well loved, and I believe it’s an absolute must for visitors who want to experience the elegance and subtlety of French cuisine. 10/10. We would come back without hesitation.

06/06/2026: It's a local vibe. Near the front bar, an 8 top of French debate something important. I have a Boucher selection of entrecote com Camembert sauce and frites. Fantástic. Staff were very pleasant with attentive service. The house rouge by the glass was a Corbier!! I enjoyed it very much.

12/06/2026: A wonderful discovery in Caen, our first ever! A truly authentic Thai/Khmer restaurant. The menu is simple, but everything is cooked on-site, spiced to the customer's liking. My Thai wife and I rediscovered the aromas and true flavors of Thailand. The welcome was warm and efficient, with a smile. The wine list is good, though a bit short; it could benefit from at least one additional Côtes du Rhône red to complement the spicy dishes we ordered. We're eager to return soon to try other dishes. 19/06/2026: We had no complaints about our dinner at La Popote: tasty dishes (the fish was cooked to perfection and the veal sauce was to die for) served by a lady who was alone in the dining room but managed to ensure the service of the plates without ever making you feel neglected.

10/06/2026: For my first meal at La Verrière, everything was delicious and plentiful, from the appetizer to the dessert (at a reasonable price for lunch: €25 including set menu)!! My friend agreed. As an added bonus, the staff were friendly and the dining room was small but charming. I will definitely be back to introduce this restaurant to other friends 😌

06/06/2026: The managers are friendly, and the open kitchen is a promising sign of quality. This was certainly confirmed by our meals; we were won over from the very first bite, and the main courses were equally delicious. As a bonus, we had a view of the castle. I can't wait to go back; this restaurant definitely deserves its current rating.

30/06/2026: A wonderful discovery! The place is charming and peaceful, and the food is excellent with discreet, pleasant, and efficient service. The Norman cheese platter is also worth trying, as are the desserts. In short, it was a great pleasure shared with friends; there were four of us.
