17/05/2026: A very warm welcome and impeccable service. We had a wonderful meal, including oysters from the nearby bay and homemade terrine. The dishes were excellent, and for dessert, one of the best chocolate fondants we've ever had. All this was served with the good humor, smiles, and generosity of the owners. We recommend it 200%. We will definitely return on our next trip to the area.

I came with my family from the US for a visit...the waiter was very friendly and helped my family choose dishes that accommodated their food allergies and other needs...the food was incredibly generous, flavorful, and delicious!!! A great selection of dishes. We had a wonderful meal!

My parents took me there as soon as my taste buds could handle the spices, and I loved it every time ☺️ The service is very pleasant, the food is high quality and very tasty, and the unique decor really immerses you in the atmosphere! At lunchtime, I highly recommend the thali, which is delicious 🙃

05/05/2026: A delightful little gem. The owner is exceptionally kind! The meals are hot and comforting. The Peking duck broth was excellent, and the duck was perfectly crispy. Highly recommended!

17/05/2026: Our reservation for two people was accepted without any problem. However, as soon as we mentioned that we were accompanied by a one-year-old baby, the tone changed: we were told that "it would be complicated with the stroller." We had clearly stated that we didn't have a stroller. The restaurant owner then made it very clear that the problem was the presence of the child himself and that our visit was ultimately not welcome. This type of practice is legally questionable. In France, refusing a reservation because of the presence of a child constitutes discrimination. A report will therefore be filed with the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control) so that your practices can be investigated.

23/04/2026: Passing through Pont l'Evêque, we had a lovely family meal on April 14, 2026, at L'Atelier Gourmand. Arriving a little early for our reservation, we received a warm welcome from the owner. The crêpes were excellent, very generously filled. The cider was equally delicious; a real treat for the palate, it awakened the taste buds, and it was truly indulgent, whether savory or sweet. The portions were also quite generous. My son only ordered vanilla ice cream, otherwise he'd end up washing up if the Banana Split he so desperately wanted wasn't finished. The owner has a great sense of humor, and that's also important for interacting with customers. Finally, the price-quality ratio is very reasonable. A must-try!

22/04/2026: Chosen somewhat by chance on our way home from a weekend trip, this restaurant offers delicious and generous galettes and desserts that live up to the galettes. If we ever find ourselves passing through Pont-l'Évêque again, we won't hesitate to stop by "L'Atelier Gourmand" once more; it truly lives up to its name. The service is also very friendly.

02/12/2025: For me, this is the best pizzeria in Caen! I'm not usually a big pizza fan, but this... The wood-fired oven makes all the difference. The crust is delicious, and the choice of base (tomato, cream, pesto) is fantastic. I especially loved the four-cheese and the Andria. Finish with the tiramisu; it's amazing. The staff is lovely, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend it 100%!
