17/12/2024: Accueil à revoir impérativement! Malgré notre réservation notre box n aurait pas été éligible. C est l intervention d une seconde personne qui a infirmé ces dires! Mais le ton négatif était déjà donné. On peut se tromper, et s en excuser. Cela n a pas été le cas. Les box permettent de découvrir de nouveaux lieux et de partager nos expériences. La salle est froide, autant que le personnel. Service pro sans émotion. Dommage, le repas est bon, avec de belles saveurs à découvrir. Merci aux chefs et cuisiniers/ères🤩 Tout se passe dans votre assiette, mais finalement cela ne suffit pas, un repas dans un restaurant bien coté comme celui ci, mérite mieux. Un peu de chaleur humaine serait un véritable plus.

09/11/2024: bon accueil, belle vue sur la mer. Mais très cher pour la qualité. Notre facture s'est élevée à 174 euros pour un déjeuner à 2 un samedi , sans excès (2 repas, pichet de vin rouge d'Alsace et café) . Et surtout rien d'extraordinaire (le filet de merlu ou le "carré" de porc bien gras et frites au four/touche de légume terre ressemblant à de la mayo...

Every year we visit them from Italy for the food (of the highest level, fish but also meat of excellent quality) and for the courtesy, kindness of the staff. Chaque année, nous allons les trouver en venant d’Italie à la fois pour la nourriture (de très haut niveau, le poisson mais aussi la viande d’excellente qualité) et pour la courtoisie, la gentillesse du personnel. 03/09/2024: Dîner réservé à l’occasion d’un anniversaire. Plats oubliés. Une belle contrefaçon de l’ambiance, des décors et des plats marocains ! Bougie d’anniversaire oubliée. Toilettes immondes. Trop déçus… Heureusement le personnel est gentil.

11/01/2025: A wide choice of ice cream flavors. All the products, whether confectionery, ice cream or creperie, the food is excellent! The quality/quantity/price ratio is also satisfactory 👍 I'm updating my comment, I still really like this shop, however, I'm sad to see that there is less ice cream in Royan since their move.

18/09/2024: Café Snack “Le Chougare” (= Sugar!) just opposite the La Rochelle SNCF train station. Very warm welcome by the owners (Jean-Noël and his wife). Very reasonable prices (much more than others in the same sector…). Family type bar (not “Tourist trap”). Ideal for people or students passing through the area, especially between the train station and the different schools. Very clean. In addition, a big advantage for internet users: as much as you want on the terrace or 20 minutes indoors (editor's note: yes, indoors, you have to leave room for others...). Good and economical breakfast (coffee + pastries). All I have to do is try the sandwiches, the homemade dishes and the wraps which all look very good. I recommend this small business, especially for young and old looking for peace and quiet, both to study and to chat in peace. Provisional score: 19/20.

09/09/2024: Delicious quiche and excellent homemade flan in an establishment that exudes good humor. Very practical for a quick bite to eat between two trains, or when connecting a train and regional coaches at the bus station.

10/09/2024: Pas de moule mais toujours à la carte, planche la mer poisson pas très frais, planche la rethaise cochon Ultra dur impossible de le couper avec un couteau. Service très très long.
