23/08/2026: A lovely spot on Rochefort's marina. Equally pleasant on the terrace and inside, it's cozy and bright. Generous portions and delicious cuisine. Friendly and attentive staff. Good value for money.

23/08/2026: We ate as a family (8 people) on a superb terrace despite the unpredictable weather. All the staff were excellent. The owner was very kind and approachable, and really took the time to chat with her customers (which is very rare these days). As for the food, from the appetizers to the desserts, everything was a delight for the taste buds. And the children's menus, with fish and meat options, were incredible.

01/04/2026: What can I say, everything is incredible!! The pastries are exquisite in both taste and presentation. The bakery's "sports bread" is a real treat (even for those who aren't athletes). The snacks, from sandwiches to muffins, are all delicious. For those with a little more time, don't hesitate to enjoy the quiet and pleasant tea room. The welcome, the products—everything makes this bakery worth stopping by, and definitely worth returning to. Special mention for the peanut trompe l'oeil—Cedric Grollet had better watch out!! Bravo to Charline, Germain, and the whole team.

16/05/2026: I came with my Japanese friend. We had a lovely time. Attentive staff, impeccable service, and the crepes were delicious. Good value for money. If you're in the area, go in with confidence; you won't be disappointed.

08/05/2026: We had a fantastic long weekend at Camping des Grenettes! The pitch, mobile home, nearby parking, mini-market, children's play area, and proximity to the beach were all perfect 👌 Just a minor drawback: the departure time and the slightly chilly heated outdoor pool!

03/05/2026: Great campsite! Very comfortable and clean mobile home. Quiet location, close to the beach with direct access to the campsite. Dogs welcome. Pitch with no overlooking neighbors and right next to our friends' place.

19/08/2026: Philippe Gault Restaurant & Catering catered our wedding. Their service was delivered with meticulous attention to detail, care, and a proactive approach. The menus were creative, seasonal, and exceptionally well-executed. We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding and benefited from the expertise of an incredible head waiter. We highly recommend this establishment for your events :)

10/09/2026: Dinner on the terrace, enjoying the lovely weather and the port's vibrant nightlife. Attentive, friendly, and professional staff. The menu offers a balanced selection of fish and meat, and it's quite good; there's plenty to choose from. The preparation could be improved, but the presentation is good and acceptable. Ideal for a dinner with friends. I recommend it.

08/09/2026: A warm welcome and excellent food! As someone with a gluten intolerance, I asked for the allergen menu to choose my dishes. Once I'd placed my order, I spoke with Céline to discuss my dietary restrictions. She was a fantastic waitress who was very attentive and did everything she could to meet my needs. A big thank you to her and the chef for adapting the dishes so well. I will definitely be back.

13/09/2026: The hotel and restaurant were very clean and the staff very pleasant. Upon entering, there was a lovely dining room, and at the back, a large, very pleasant and spacious room. I celebrated my birthday there with a little over 40 people, and everything went very well. They gave excellent advice on drinks. Good value for money. Well-organized, on time, and the meal was very good and plentiful. The guests appreciated the rooms, the welcome, and the generous breakfast. Highly recommended.

For my husband and me, €36 in total, for: 1 Leffe beer 1 Monaco (a type of sparkling wine) 1 Sirloin steak with braised endives 1 Ham and cheese omelet with braised endives 1 Cheese 1 dessert: choux pastry with homemade pastry cream and caramel sauce 1 Coffee 1 pitcher of rosé wine And on top of that, with big, beautiful smiles. 22/07/2026: Everything is located on the outskirts of a large farm, a delightful spot with a large, sculptural car serving as its entrance. A very warm welcome and impeccable cleanliness immediately set the stage for an excellent dining experience.

10/07/2026: A very comprehensive selection of magazines and newspapers, undoubtedly the most comprehensive in La Rochelle. The staff are lovely.

20/08/2026: Excellent A perfect combination of view and perfect meal The ingredients are fresh, the menu is enticing The service is superb, and the welcome is warm too We highly recommend this place! Far from the image of the rather overrated port restaurants, we weren't disappointed to have stopped here. A mix of refined dishes and very reasonable prices: €28 for the set lunch menu (starter + main course)

18/08/2026: A mixed experience, but still positive. The pros: the sea view and the friendly service. The cons: the portion sizes (small portions) and the taste of the food, which wasn't amazing (but not bad). However, the price of the set menu is unbeatable.

29/08/2026: The best steakhouse in La Rochelle! Connoisseurs will appreciate the aged ribeye, the Black Angus hanger steak, and the steak tartare, available in portions from 250g to 450g depending on your appetite! The wine list is excellent, with a wide selection to complement the meat. Some weeks, sweetbreads are featured as the daily special with homemade mashed potatoes: a delight! And on some Friday evenings, there's grilled lobster: a must-try! Regulars always return and quickly become loyal customers.

05/08/2026: A very bad experience. We arrived in the afternoon, when there were few diners and the place was nearly empty. Despite this, the person in charge was hostile. It took a long time for them to take our order and even longer to serve us; we waited about 35 minutes for our food, whereas other customers—who were French—were served in about 15 minutes, even those who had arrived after us. There are busier places nearby where we received faster service and better treatment.
