08/01/2025: So I found this restaurant quite pleasant, expensive for the products on the plate and we had a not very smiling waitress who did not appreciate a little joke from my brother-in-law after the very personal atmosphere a little undisciplined at the entrance I had heard that it was a very good restaurant with good products I will not return there
06/01/2025: Magnificent setting especially in the evening. The cuisine on the other hand apart from the seafood because it remains seafood but for the other dishes we were a table and clearly especially considering the price it is not very good. The establishment is riding on a past reputation.

01/12/2023: This is my canteen. Good, simple and inexpensive cuisine. Daily menus very good for 13/16 euros. I go there regularly. Very friendly and competent boss.

16/09/2024: Nice place for a dinner with a view of the port. The service is impeccable, the staff are smiling (even in the middle of August with a crowded restaurant) and we had a great time. The dishes are prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. Don't forget the aperitif cocktail which adds something positive to the experience.

Only one small problem: no Saumur on the menu 😉

23/11/2024: No more pancakes at 4 p.m. on a Saturday, it's a shame but it happens, I order a chocolate cake which will certainly not arrive with the drinks, after a questionable wait. When we leave we are criticized for wanting to pay the bill in several installments, a general feeling that the boss has no consideration for the customers...
Not in the habit of leaving bad reviews, yet here, it seems fair to me

07/11/2024: Always very nice to eat here, economical and friendly omelette for a quick meal.
When eating on the terrace, you will have a very elegant and unobstructed view of the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville, and the owner will, as always, welcome you with rare kindness.
Concerning the quality of the air, people were smoking next to me, and luckily the winds were favorable to me, so I was able to breathe 95% pleasant air.

16/09/2024: from the outside it doesn't look like a restaurant but when you go inside you are surprised 😲 it's magnificent and very large, whether it's the welcome, the service and the cooking, preparation of the entry to the dessert everything is homemade and it's very good.
It is a good address to recommend.

11/09/2024: Exceptionnel a royan pour qui aime lambiance marché et sud ouest.
Nous y mangeons toutes les semaines, le menu est très raisonnable en prix, et chaque jour différent, cuisine du marché... juste à côté, donc facile pour se garer. Il y a beaucoup d habitués, preuve que la cuisine est bonne !
Ce dimanche piquilos en entrée, filet de bœuf exceptionnel avec sauce morilles et gâteau aux pommes excellent pour 24 euros. En semaine c'est un peu moins cher mais tout aussi bon.
Personnel efficace et souriant. Les responsables jeunes et très aimables assurent dans la continuité tout en ayant adapté. Bref une pépite.

I highly recommend this restaurant, it’s flawless! An experience not to be missed.
