01/11/2025: Since the change of ownership, we've been wanting to see if there's been any improvement! Because as much as we loved going out to lunch during Bruno's time, once was enough for us to run away. Finally, plucking up our courage (lol), we're giving it a try with the new arrivals. It's better, but far from perfect. A 3/4 hour wait for our little aperitif, while other customers who arrived after us were served well before us? Organization needs to be reviewed... Prices practically worthy of the Côte d'Azur: €23 for 3 bites of fish on 2 spoonfuls of mashed potatoes?? Miniature rib-eye steak with a few fries €18?? Okay, the flank steak was tender. The girls are nice, OK, but that's not everything.

23/12/2025: What a wonderful surprise! We stumbled upon Baron Moleskine by chance; the atmosphere looked so lively from the outside. And inside, it was even better! A cozy place with a quirky vibe. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. The waitress and waiter were incredibly attentive and welcoming. It's become a must-visit. Thank you so much, and see you soon!

09/12/2024: A restaurant like I have rarely seen. A more than impressive menu and wine list. We had a blast and were amazed! Attentive, super professional servers👌 We were even able to debrief the meal with the boss. Everything is perfect!

07/12/2024: meal for a birthday, dishes served lukewarm asks for a chilled Loire wine, which poses a big problem problem, the manager made me understand that hadn't bought an expensive enough wine. cold atmosphere lack of customer listening and warmth. mediocre and lukewarm ravioli very expensive for so much mediocrity to avoid absolutely

05/01/2026: Excellent hot plant-based drinks. Very creamy and delicious! However, the service was far from welcoming, which left us with a slightly bitter taste.

04/01/2026: Everything is perfect at Mika's: the welcome, the quality of the drinks, cakes, and meals, and the bright and pleasant atmosphere. We never fail to stop by whenever we're back in the area. Special mention goes to the Christmas meal and the Chai Latte (the best we've ever had!).

11/02/2026: Excellent salads, great concept. Everything is homemade, right on the banks of the Charente River with parking opposite. I recommend it (remember to book).

28/12/2025: Until now, we'd been snacking on a bowl of smelt with a beer on our way back from the market. Today, we had lunch at La Camaraderie. I opted for the fish and chips. Everything is homemade and of exceptional quality and freshness. The fish was fresh and breaded just before cooking. Delicious homemade fries. I also had a gourmet coffee. I thought it was expensive (€8.60), but when I saw the variety of desserts and the quality of everything being homemade, I thought it was worth trying. The waiter explained how everything is homemade, and it was nice to know how he makes his little chocolate fondant 😋. A hidden gem to discover. My partner had the seafood sauerkraut (the dish of the day). He wasn't disappointed either. I highly recommend this restaurant!

09/12/2025: We celebrated my wife's birthday this past Saturday, December 6th. There were 16 of us. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the initial contact to the event itself. The food was unanimously appreciated, and the quality of the service, both discreet and efficient, sealed the deal for us. As an added bonus, since we wanted to organize a karaoke session, the establishment kindly provided us with a video projector and screen free of charge. Thank you for this wonderful service.

31/01/2026: For everyone else: run away. The ribeye steak was inedible, as tough as a shoe sole. You'd wonder if the meat had ever even seen a pan. The side dish was pathetic: five scrawny potatoes, three rotten lettuce leaves, and croutons that were utterly pointless, probably just there to make it look good. After pointing out the problem, the waitress brushed us off and disappeared. No apology, no attempt to reflect on her actions. Her only suggestion: order another dish, which, of course, would be charged. This place combines contempt for the customer, substandard food, and a complete lack of professionalism. A perfect spot for those who enjoy paying a fortune, eating poorly, and being treated with disdain.

31/01/2026: As the son of a restaurant owner, I know one thing: mistakes happen, but incompetence in management doesn't. The ribeye steak was tough, dry, simply inedible, unworthy of being served. The side dish was a caricature: a few potatoes lost on the plate, a visibly wilted salad, and pointless croutons attempting to mask the emptiness. When we pointed out the problem, the waitress dismissed us without apology, without listening, without the slightest consideration. The only solution offered was another dish… which, of course, would be charged. What's most shocking isn't the bad food—that happens—but the utter contempt for the customer and the complete lack of professionalism. This isn't a restaurant, it's a place where the service is poor, the responses are poor, and the poor service is blatantly accepted.

30/11/2025: The service was appalling, the worst I've ever seen. The waiters were rude to all the customers. I initially thought it was a hidden camera prank, but no, not even that. After waiting 45 minutes for three mussels and fries, we left without any apology from the staff. The setting overlooking the sea is rather pleasant, which is about the only redeeming feature.
