10/04/2026: The welcome was appalling, which ruined the atmosphere at the table! We simply asked for an extra place setting at our table for four, politely (with "please" and a smile), only to be snapped at with "I know, 2 seconds, I just got here!"...charming! And the service was so rushed, with plates being cleared almost as soon as one of us finished, resulting in constant and untimely turnover. As for the food, the mussels and fries were good, as were the pizza and desserts.

31/12/2025: The welcome, food, and atmosphere were all very average. The waiter was almost rude and started badmouthing other customers as soon as they left.

22/03/2026: Le Pass'port is clearly a brasserie in the port of La Rochelle, a very touristy area designed to attract crowds. It's neither a gourmet bistro nor a hidden gem, so don't expect a sophisticated atmosphere. That said, I find some of the reviews a bit harsh. The establishment doesn't pretend to be anything more than a good portside brasserie—simple, a little rustic, but rather authentic in its own way (and that's a good thing!). People come here for classic dishes: burgers, mussels and fries, crêpes, and especially for the location. Personally, I found the food simple and good, with excellent sweet crêpes. The service was friendly, with a fairly young and energetic team. It might not be the ideal place for those seeking a fine dining experience, but for a restaurant located on the port of La Rochelle, I think it holds its own quite well.

31/10/2025: The owner is unpleasant to customers. He treats them like idiots. Avoid at all costs. The ice cream is bad and expensive for what it is. I have to give it one star; it deserves zero. They claim we're mistaken about the establishment when we give them a bad rating. Not very professional.

24/10/2025: We ordered two cappuccinos at this restaurant. The waitress was friendly; we had no complaints. However, we received two Viennese coffees, with industrial whipped cream and sock juice, for the hefty sum of €5.50 (so if it's good, we think it's okay, but when it's undrinkable, it still hurts a little). So, before leaving, we politely explained to the manager that the drink we ordered wasn't the one we received. To which he replied, "Oh yes, they're cappuccinos. Here we make them like that, and if you're not happy, you should have asked how we make them." We had absolutely no intention of causing a fuss, but hey... the recipe for a cappuccino is the same everywhere, you shouldn't take people for idiots, so we told him. He told us to get rid of it, along with a slurred tone.

09/01/2026: We called this evening at 7:30 PM to order pizzas. We were told to pick them up at 8:30 PM, but we didn't leave until 9:00 PM because we were completely rushed. When we got home, we were shocked to discover that our pizzas were completely raw. We called them back immediately to let them know. They suggested we come back to the pizzeria (a 15-minute drive) to have them recooked. Since they had already been "cooked" once, the pizza crusts were completely burnt, and the bottoms were still undercooked. As regular customers, we were very disappointed with this service and the lack of any real compensation, not even for the trip. As a result, it's 10:30 PM, and we've barely finished our pizzas, which we couldn't even eat completely because they were too rich.

06/04/2026: Despite the air conditioning working even in winter, I find the McDonald's quite well located. Dine-in, takeout, drive-thru, and even click and collect offer various ways to get a very diverse meal. I admit that three click and collect slots are insufficient, but the staff really go the extra mile to satisfy customers. I also recommend it.

02/04/2026: Friendly and courteous staff. Clean dining area, plastic cups and fry containers in good condition. Good burgers and fries. Easy access. All the self-service kiosks work. The only slightly odd thing is the parking lot markings, as cars are parked diagonally facing the wrong way in front of the establishment. The current rating of 3.3 doesn't reflect reality. It should be 4.7.

30/06/2025: Comfortable room, but lacking in charm, extremely noisy because of the avenues that pass on either side of the hotel. Bathroom smells very damp, curtains that are absolutely not blackout are annoying when it gets dark only from 10/10:30 p.m. This hotel lacks refreshment, it is far too old considering the price of the room

19/04/2026: We had lunch on the terrace, which is truly lovely and a definite plus for the restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by several factors. Firstly, we were significantly bothered by cigarette smoke from neighboring tables, which made the experience rather unpleasant. Secondly, the service was quite slow, and the quality of the food didn't impress us: it was adequate, but nothing special, and below our expectations. In short, a nice setting but an overall disappointing experience considering the service and the food.

18/04/2026: First and last time. A set menu with salted pork and a chicken dish. I was sick as soon as I left the restaurant. The salted pork wasn't fresh and hadn't come straight from the fridge. I had to go home and cut my visit to Rochefort short. AVOID. UNRELIABLE.

04/03/2026: Excellent establishment - superb welcome. Perfect for a relaxing time. Top-notch and fast service, and delicious food. The waitress is wonderful and friendly. Thank you to the owner for his kindness.

02/03/2026: Fantastic end-of-year party with a group. We booked the entire floor for 28 people. A very warm welcome, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. The staff was very helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant; we had a wonderful time.

13/04/2026: Great place for a slightly later lunch. The view across to the beach was lovely on a sunny March day. I'd recommend the poke bowl and the burger.

07/04/2026: We arrived at 1 p.m. and had ordered a "surf and turf platter" along with our drinks. Much later, another waitress arrived to take our order. A few minutes later, our main courses arrived, served by yet another waitress, without the platter having been sent out. We waited over 20 minutes for our platter, which was missing some ingredients (despite this oversight, a kind gesture of goodwill was made when the bill arrived, and we thank the staff). Once the platter was finished, we had to wait another 20 minutes for our main courses. Therefore, our experience was rather disappointing, particularly regarding the service itself. The food was decent.
