31/12/2025: Discovering a place expertly run by a delightful young woman and her family, all of whom are incredibly dedicated. Everything is perfect: a welcoming atmosphere, a warm reception, cleanliness, and delicious, generous home-style cooking at a very reasonable price. A great place, just the way we like them, to enjoy a pleasant time over a drink or a good meal in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

27/03/2026: The food was good but nothing exceptional. It's a shame the pork and sweetbreads came from Germany and the Netherlands... 102 euros for 2 (including 3 glasses of wine).

22/03/2026: I had dinner at Le Saintonge last night with my partner. The atmosphere was hushed and very calm; it was very soothing. The waiter was discreet, very friendly, and attentive. We each had an aperitif with amuse-bouches, which was perfect. We each chose the same Saintonge menu: foie gras tiramisu as a starter, beef fillet with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and a trompe-l'oeil dessert. Everything was perfect: refined dishes with beautiful presentation; we feasted our eyes beforehand! 😊 The meat was cooked to perfection for both of us. Kudos to the chef and the cooks for all their hard work. We had a very pleasant time, feeling privileged by the impeccable service, the presentation, and of course, the delicious taste of our meals. I highly recommend this restaurant, which deserves a Michelin star.

28/02/2026: February 28, 2026. My girlfriend and I had barely arrived when the older woman didn't even bother to take our order. She preferred to joke around with a customer at the bar. We waited in the dining room, but the woman didn't come and didn't exactly inspire us to stay any longer. So we quickly got up and left. No regrets!

06/03/2026: Over the weekend, we came as a group of six adults for lunch on a Saturday. We hadn't been to this restaurant before… what a great choice!!! A friendly and welcoming team, quick service! And the food… Whether it was the starter, the main course, or the dessert: all EXCELLENT!!! We ate incredibly well, and you can be sure that not one of us left the restaurant hungry! The value for money is unbeatable! Quality ingredients. Outside of peak season, they offer a set menu with a few choices, including meat and fish! There's something for everyone. We were delighted! And we'll definitely be back if we have the chance!

01/09/2025: A Very Positive Review of Le Repère in Dax A place I 100% recommend! From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with incredible warmth and friendliness. The owner is great, always smiling and attentive, and the customers who frequent the place create a truly friendly atmosphere. The menus are excellent (indeed, very, very, very excellent 😍) with excellent value for money. You feel good there, you eat very well, and above all, you have a wonderful time. Whether it's for a meal, a drink, or an evening with friends, the atmosphere is fantastic, relaxed, and friendly. A real place to discover and share! 👌 I highly recommend Le Repère in Dax to anyone looking for a good time around good food and a warm atmosphere.

Perfectly flavored and spiced, a real treat 🥳🥳🥳 Although a bit pricey, €60 for two beers, two starters, and two main courses, it was perfect and well worth it 🥰🥰🥰 We'll gladly return sometime 😍😍😍
