10/02/2026: Friendly welcome, quick but stress-free service, good quality brasserie-style food. One small drawback: the desserts are a bit pricey. Thanks to the servers who were professional and smiling 👍

01/02/2026: The menu is varied, but the service needs improvement! At what point do we see customers entering but not greet them? And when we wanted to go upstairs, we were met with, and I quote, "You're not allowed upstairs. If you want a table, go sit down and come see me when you've chosen."

16/01/2026: We had a wonderful time. It's the first time we've had such a delicious seafood platter. A real treat with incredibly fresh products. A nice bonus: the restrooms were spotless. We'd like to thank our waitress Eva, who was very pleasant, smiling, and had a great sense of humor. Keep up the good work, your restaurant is fantastic!

27/09/2025: Carafe of water not good, wine between two seas without taste, bib after 5 or 6 knife cuts with good teeth edible, and in addition beam in the middle of the veranda which is disintegrating

27/10/2025: I've known this crêperie for over 30 years, and the quality is always top-notch! The best place in the region to enjoy succulent savory and sweet crêpes with an excellent special cuvée Kerisac cider. Bravo to the owner, who provides the service, enhanced with a touch of humor, and to his wife, who cooks the delicious crêpes you order. A word of advice to those who love crêpes: you won't be disappointed.

26/01/2025: Go elsewhere, there are many other bars in Saintes. The waiters are rude, don't want to serve you and let you know it. The cuisine, once again better elsewhere for less money and a warmer atmosphere. Go on your way.

22/12/2025: Pizza ordered. Delivery time 1 hour 15 minutes. I called to check and was told it was 5 minutes late. An hour and 45 minutes later, I called again and was told it was in the oven... 2 hours for a pizza. Too long. I'm really disappointed and I'll try the competition.

10/12/2025: Delicious pizza, very kind owner, nothing to complain about. I will continue to order my pizzas and I would recommend it a thousand times over!!!

10/01/2026: Very disappointed. We had booked half-board, but the restaurant was closed. There's nothing to eat nearby. Making coffee in the room is no longer possible; the tablet is tiny, and there's only one chair. There was noise at night from people running around the building. The hotel was practically deserted, but we had to go to reception ourselves to ask for toilet paper. The only positive point was the friendly staff.

27/11/2025: It's so nice to relax at Cargo, the owners are lovely, and the service is very professional. We love it! We keep going back and are never disappointed.

03/01/2026: Unwelcoming restaurant, bad food, spoiled chocolate mousse covered on the floor, truly disgusting, don't go there (it's packed and there's no room, a real bar atmosphere).

06/12/2025: A well-located brasserie-style restaurant opposite La Rochelle's town hall. The service is very friendly and welcoming. The sausage with aligoté sauce and the filet mignon with mustard sauce are good and well-prepared. The tables upstairs are pleasant. The prices are extremely reasonable. No surprises, but a very enjoyable experience.

11/11/2025: I really enjoyed my lunch here. My friends and I stopped here for lunch while we were in La Rochelle. Our server was very friendly and efficient. I ordered a pizza and it was delicious, my friends ordered fish and chips and burgers and they love them. Great wine list. I recommend stopping here for lunch, coffee or just a beer and watch people going about thier lives. Next time I'm in La Rochelle I'm stopping in for lunch again.

24/09/2025: We stopped here for an excellent grand cafe plus a glass of Pinot de Charente on the side. Both were served swiftly and pleasantly.

06/02/2026: In short, a disappointment like no other. We called to ask if we could bring our baby. The person on the phone told us it wasn't convenient for them to set up a table with a high chair if the baby wasn't ordering anything. You told us, word for word: "It's not convenient for us, but come anyway." This, combined with the fact that no drinks are included with the adult menu and the price is exorbitant (I've been to many Asian buffets, and this was €8 more expensive than most similar establishments with the same quality of food).

01/01/2026: Very disappointed with our New Year's Eve dinner on December 31st, 2025. There was very little food, the dishes were cold, and the desserts were a complete mess—everything was in a pile. We will not be returning. Avoid this place.
