26/07/2026: This is my first time in Royan, and we stopped for a meal, which was excellent. A cozy spot by the sea, pleasant atmosphere, quick service, and a cheerful waiter. They even provide blankets if it's chilly, which is really nice.

07/06/2026: Just passing through while visiting the city. Friendly and courteous waiter. Very tasty IPA 🍺. Plus, it's the only place on the street open on Sundays, which is a nice touch.

01/07/2026: It's a shame to be so well located and yet forget that customer service is what makes a business so reputable. Apparently, simply ordering a coffee isn't considered good enough, and charging €2 for a tiny cup is a bit much; once again, basic customer service has been neglected. 18/07/2026: Craving a pizza? Unfriendly welcome, low-quality pizza just to quench your thirst. We felt like we were bothering them. I had to get the pizza remade because it was overcooked. Luckily the owner arrived to set things straight because his staff is awful and very rude.

15/07/2026: Thanks to the waiter in the dark glasses in the back area, near Pizza Rocket, for this wonderful customer experience. After looking at me several times without saying a word, he finally explained, without a greeting or any polite greeting, that you only order at your table. One small detail: all the tables were taken. When I pointed out that I was standing because there was no room, his solution was simply to ask me to leave the bar. As a result, I couldn't order a single drink all evening. Luckily, the rest of the staff was much more pleasant and professional.

12/07/2026: A roadside or working-class type of restaurant with a large free parking lot and air conditioning. We arrived as a group of nine friends shortly before closing time (9 pm), but received a very warm welcome and excellent service. Homemade cuisine with a few original touches. Excellent value for money.

29/07/2026: First time in my life I've seen a €20 menu... everything is more expensive, we compared it to the prices at our local restaurant, even though we're from the Paris region... I don't know if these are the prices charged in July/August in a tourist area, but it's absurd. If we had known, we would have gone to a proper restaurant.

23/07/2026: The hamburger was extremely dry and inedible, as were the fries served. When you pay between €13 and €18 for a meal, you expect to be satisfied!

11/03/2026: The semi-cooked foie gras was absolutely delicious, served with a big smile. The rest of the meal—a braised lamb shoulder—was very good, as was the caramelized apple pavlova with vanilla ice cream! We'll be back to enjoy the terrace this summer!

01/03/2026: A wonderful discovery at Les Alizés restaurant, with a warm and attentive welcome. The dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious 😋: everything is homemade, with great finesse and flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant for a high-quality meal.

12/05/2026: This bar is a fantastic find. We had an amazing time there for my bachelorette party. Everyone was so friendly, professional, and approachable. The music was great, and the cocktails were excellent. If you want to have a good time, you absolutely have to stop by! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

02/05/2026: A pint of Guinness was a staggering 9€, more than París or London. Probably the most expensive Guinness in Europe, I dont know how they can possibly justify that. A pity, because apart from the extortionate prices, it is a lovely bar

19/06/2026: Very welcoming place and delicious crepes. The butter and sugar crepe is "to die for".

16/06/2026: We've known this restaurant for a long time. We've always eaten very well there, even if the welcome was sometimes rather cold. We went back recently, and while the galettes and other crêpes are still delicious, the service has improved considerably.

08/07/2026: Discovered this restaurant on its terrace during a holiday visit to the beautiful town of Mornac… We were greeted with a smile in an ideal setting overlooking the oyster huts… Okay, let's start with the slightly mixed points: the service was indeed a bit slow… it didn't feel like the restaurant was understaffed, but they seemed a little lost and inefficient at times. However, it wasn't due to ill will, but perhaps the stress of the start of the season, and in the end, it wasn't a problem and even became almost pleasant because everything was done with a smile… and what was initially a negative point almost turned into a positive one. As for the quality of the food… honestly, nothing to complain about… it was simply delicious. I wasn't expecting to be blown away by the eggs mayonnaise, but I almost wanted to order more. The beef was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection. The chicken skewer was an explosion of flavors… in short, we just wanted more… The prices are quite reasonable for the quality… So in the end, yes, I can't give it 5 stars because the service was a bit disorganized, and while we found it almost "touching," I understand that it might not be as well received by some people… But if you're patient, the food is worth it!

06/07/2026: We were there for lunch today. The staff were welcoming, the vintage decor was very nice, the food was good, and it was excellent value for money. We all had the set menu. I recommend it.
