14/04/2026: It was my first time and I wasn't disappointed. While the buffet was small, there was still a good selection. The sake at the end of the meal was perfect. The atmosphere was warm and friendly.

06/02/2026: In short, a disappointment like no other. We called to ask if we could bring our baby. The person on the phone told us it wasn't convenient for them to set up a table with a high chair if the baby wasn't ordering anything. You told us, word for word: "It's not convenient for us, but come anyway." This, combined with the fact that no drinks are included with the adult menu and the price is exorbitant (I've been to many Asian buffets, and this was €8 more expensive than most similar establishments with the same quality of food).

23/04/2026: A perfect choice for food lovers! Between the ultra-soft French toast with vanilla ice cream and the generous Dame Blanche with its melting chocolate, our taste buds were in heaven. All served on the terrace in a magnificent setting. An address to remember for a perfect end to your meal! ✨

23/04/2026: A must-visit when I'm in La Rochelle. A lively, warm, and cheerful atmosphere, perfect for a meal with family or friends on one of the city's most beautiful terraces. Generous and authentic brasserie cuisine, served with a smile. I'll definitely be back.

05/04/2026: I came yesterday at lunchtime with my daughter. Very nice. Good food and very pleasant staff. The setting and decor are also lovely. It was my second time and there will definitely be a third!

18/07/2025: 16-euro starter: 6 fritters, 2 small Caribbean black puddings, inedible cod flakes, tasteless slices of cold cuts that I didn't eat either, and salad. Main course: pork colombo with sweet potato and carrot puree The pieces of pork were either too fatty or too dry, but I was able to enjoy the sauce with bread and the homemade mashed potatoes, which were decent.

08/04/2026: Average... nothing special 😮‍💨. The cuttlefish wasn't cooked properly, very rubbery. The meat wasn't rare as requested. The service wasn't very pleasant. They brought us the bill at the same time as dessert, as if they were in a hurry for us to leave. We definitely won't be back.

07/04/2026: We stopped for a drink in the afternoon and ordered three Vittel mint waters served in glass glasses (very nice), a Monaco (served in a reusable cup), and four scoops of ice cream, also served in reusable cups! For a bar/restaurant, serving drinks in these types of containers is really disappointing and unprofessional. The person with curly hair was smiling and clearly enjoyed their job, unlike the others!

05/04/2026: A small, local bistro that, unfortunately, is nothing special. I ordered their burger, advertised at €18, a price I find clearly outrageous considering the quality. The meat was really poor, and to my great disappointment, the burger was served without cheese... And to accompany it all, you get simple frozen fries. Paying €18 for frozen food and a bland dish is truly excessive. I strongly advise against this place; it's a pure tourist trap. Keep walking.

15/02/2026: We had a wonderful Valentine's Day evening! Kudos to the chef, the meal was superb! The atmosphere was very friendly. The waitresses were always smiling and attentive to the customers. Excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant. We received a very warm welcome. See you soon, we'll be back!

16/10/2025: The gentleman who looked after us from start to finish was at the bare minimum of the most basic courtesy. He never asked if we were okay, including at the end of the meal. Supreme of guinea pig stuffed with mushrooms where the mushroom flavor is completely absent. Pseudo pineapple tarte tatin served with a scoop of alcoholic ice cream without warning the customer. We noticed a drop in quality and will not return.

23/04/2026: Thank you for this menu advertised as "homemade"... when, on the plate, everything seems to come from industrial products. It's frankly disappointing and misleading. Even the fries are frozen—it's hard to call it homemade under these conditions. A little more transparency and honesty towards customers would be truly appreciated. An experience to avoid in its current state.

27/11/2025: It's so nice to relax at Cargo, the owners are lovely, and the service is very professional. We love it! We keep going back and are never disappointed.

07/04/2026: The wait was long for one Mojito and two beers! 45 minutes! They need to anticipate events that bring in a lot of customers! (Lots of young people are looking for extra work.) But the wait was worth it! Sunshine and warmth were perfect!

23/03/2026: Unwelcoming and very cold. I felt like I was in the way. I came with a small dog in the heat and they didn't offer him any water. I won't be back and I don't recommend it.
