14/08/2025: Uh, how can I put this... €10 for a 50cl beer, a Diabolo for the same price as a soft drink... Server (probably the owner) not very clean, elbow and t-shirt covered in blood. Very dirty place, completely out of place next to a 5-star hotel. I don't recommend it.

30/11/2024: My dear friends, We stopped by last night to watch the match where we unfortunately lost 😢, missing out on the final, and we weren't disappointed by this bar/restaurant. The young man and the lovely lady who served us made us feel completely at ease, allowing us to fully enjoy the match and the food we were served! We ordered the "terre" platter, which featured exquisite products, though perhaps a slightly smaller portion for the price. A nice bonus: a direct view into the restaurant next door, where the waiter was quite a sight to behold 😳. We highly recommend it!

10/11/2025: A pleasant Asian restaurant. We ate as a couple with our dog, who was welcomed without any problem, even though we arrived at 1:50 pm. The staff is welcoming, the service is quick, and the portions are generous and delicious. They accept holiday vouchers. We recommend it.

27/10/2025: Takeaway. Only sauce and onions paid by weight, little pork 6 euros. Only sauce, little pasta. With a strange meat spring roll. 15 euros takeaway. Nothing to eat. EXPENSIVE. Not good. Royal mockery.

26/10/2025: Places supposedly open until 2 a.m., no indication of hours on the front and visibly closed

02/10/2025: I don't know why it's labeled "artisan ice cream maker," but it's the worst ice cream I've ever eaten in my life. 100% low-end industrial. Nothing but sugar. The music is super loud and unpleasant, just like the waitress. Stay away.

22/12/2025: A nice little coffee early in the morning served by Benoît. Pleasant. Friendly customer. Warmly received on our way to Marennes-Oléron.

11/11/2025: The cleanliness around the appetizer buffet was lacking (cobwebs). There was little change in the appetizers and desserts; it was always the same. The lasagna was overcooked. The lady was friendly.

18/10/2025: Excellent pizzas, come back for the treats

15/10/2025: Very bad and greasy kebab, served late. Very questionable hygiene, kitchen hidden by a curtain. The only member of staff is rude and does not exude cleanliness, touches the money then serves the food. In short, I strongly advise against it if you do not want to get sick because the meat in the kebabs is most likely frozen.

11/11/2025: A great meal with family and friends, but the service was incredibly slow, with very limited choices. Two seconds of enjoyment followed by a three-hour wait. The mashed potatoes and risotto were also very small portions. The staff were pleasant, it's true, but they didn't bother to have a drink or chat. One item they offered was out of stock, and there was mold in the grated cheese. Otherwise, the beach is right next door.

11/11/2025: So, there's quite a bit to say about this restaurant. First of all, when we were served, the dishes had bits of mold on them. The waiter was very slow, and the two women serving us weren't welcoming at all; they were just chatting instead of doing their jobs. Otherwise, the owner was pleasant but smelled of alcohol.

26/10/2025: We were looking for a place to have lunch as a family with a 9-month-old baby. It was still early, 11:00 a.m., and after many rejections, this charming couple welcomed us. Delicious, generous homemade food; we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for your warm welcome. We will definitely come back. Les Bretons

25/10/2025: A pleasant experience at this restaurant near the port Very good pizza and dessert from the top chef (crêpe cake with crème brûlée!!)

01/12/2025: We rented three rooms to participate in the marathon this weekend. The rooms are very poorly insulated; you can hear everything in the other rooms. And the showers? Don't even get me started! The swing doors don't close properly—a disaster! The shower stalls are propped up with pieces of wood on the sides. It's unacceptable to charge €120 per room in such conditions.

01/12/2025: We booked three rooms for the marathon weekend. Given the price we paid for just one night, €122 per room, we expected a minimum level of comfort. What a bitter surprise it was! For €122, there was no shower or toilet in the room... showers that didn't even close properly, rooms that weren't soundproofed, a sink that wasn't fixed in place... I understand that the marathon inflates prices, but clearly, this type of accommodation shouldn't cost more than €30-40 per night. A huge disappointment, to say the least.

11/11/2025: Appalling service. If you don't pay at the till yourself, nothing will happen. Credit cards and contactless payments are nonexistent for amounts under €10 because they don't want to enrich the banks! And the pretentious waiters are always lecturing you... A sugar cube served with a black coffee... Run away as fast as you can... seriously!

08/02/2026: I'm disappointed. We arrived, sat down, and there wasn't even a greeting; the welcome was cold. We sat and waited 30 minutes, and no one came. We decided to get up, thinking we were supposed to order at the counter, but no: we were told, "Thank you for waiting, you're not the only ones," with a nasty look. After ordering, we waited an hour. Disappointed: it wasn't good. I won't be coming back here; the service was disrespectful. They don't know how to serve. They prefer talking and laughing to serving. Bravo! We clearly weren't the only ones: some people even left because of the wait. In short, very, very bad.

05/12/2025: Wonderful we had a small lunch it was as much as we could eat 1 beer 2 glasses of wine definitely 4 star's from us, and all under 40 Euro's will be there again soon, we were back in June 2025 it has changed a lot you have an ice cream counter and the restaurant has lost space and seating not as enjoyable as our first visit

11/11/2025: Very disappointing review A truly regrettable experience. I ordered rare beef, but it arrived completely white—unacceptable for beef. I sent it back, and they brought me another, admittedly rare this time… but still frozen inside. Some of the sauces on the table had expired in September—even though it's November! As for the service, the waitress who looked after us from beginning to end was impeccable: smiling, pleasant, and very professional. However, the waiter who came only to bring the drinks didn't even bother to say hello—a blatant lack of respect. Frankly, it's absolutely not worth the price. Only the waitress's kindness slightly redeems an otherwise disastrous meal, both in terms of the food and the service.

16/11/2024: Quelle déception, plats froids, feuilles de salade cuites ou pourries dans l'assiette et lorsqu on en a fait part au gérant, réponse de ce dernier, elle est dans l'assiette pour décorer et pas pour manger !!! Oeufs mollets sauce forestiere servis froids, apparemment ce serait normal aussi, viande quelconque.Un accident peut arriver mais le gérant avec ces réponses n'est vraiment pas a sa place.
