04/09/2024: Ridiculous burger at €16.90 for a 100g steak, the rubbery bread is a total aberration, the waiters were polite no problem but in terms of food it's a shame at that price. At least we will have had a good laugh but I won't go back and watch this sketch

28/11/2025: The reception's opening hours were ludicrous, and the staircase was incredibly steep and narrow, leading to an intermediate door where you had to call to get to the reception desk further up. The receptionist was incredibly over-the-top; it was ridiculous to try and make you believe you were in a five-star hotel. Finally, after a narrow flight of stairs or two, you reached your room, which was fairly clean and nicely decorated. Out of habit, we glanced at the sheets, which looked a bit worn with a few stains, so we wondered about the mattress. And there it was... indescribably filthy, covered in numerous and varied stains whose nature I dare not even imagine. We were told that this was normal wear and tear on hotel mattresses. After heated discussions, we were offered another room, with the mattress in the same condition. Naturally, we didn't sleep on those piles of filth and cut our stay short. Of course, we couldn't get a refund because we had booked directly. A tip: ask for a photo of the mattresses before booking. LOL.

30/11/2024: My dear friends, We stopped by last night to watch the match where we unfortunately lost 😢, missing out on the final, and we weren't disappointed by this bar/restaurant. The young man and the lovely lady who served us made us feel completely at ease, allowing us to fully enjoy the match and the food we were served! We ordered the "terre" platter, which featured exquisite products, though perhaps a slightly smaller portion for the price. A nice bonus: a direct view into the restaurant next door, where the waiter was quite a sight to behold 😳. We highly recommend it!

19/09/2024: Response to Léa gvg You are surely the 3 people who came to take only 2 KF for 3 people and with 3 glasses of water served After 1h30 you came to ask for a large jug of water because you were very thirsty, hence the refusal. On the 2 consumption port for 3 you won't even be able to sit down and after 1/2 hour you would have had to renew your drinks To post a comment like this you would first have to give details of your refusal of glasses of water When you go to the cinema with 3, are there only 2 who pay for the screening???? 31/12/2024: We reserved the boss who clearly forgot. He pretended we were 25 minutes late (15 minutes really) to ask us to wait outside in the cold. Nice when we booked 30 bike terminals and planned the weekend on the line. Very unpleasant. Anyway, to escape quickly!!!! I am from Saint Trojan. And I'm going to give you a great advert!!! Ps thank you to La Bella, pizzeria 100m away for welcoming us without reservation and with a smile!

21/09/2024: Très bon est sans doute excessif, mais les prix correspondent au repas. Les plats sont copieux, servis dans un bon timing, c'était plutôt un moment agréable.

09/09/2024: Belle expérience dans cet établissement ouvert malgré ce que disait le site ! Accueil chaleureux, sympathique et convivial. Service suivi, sans être pressant et conseils avisés. Huîtres fraîches, moules également… un régal. Nous recommandons !

13/11/2024: Tout est fait pour passer une soirée agréable ! Un bon repas, du vin et des serveurs souriants et accueillants. Si vous souhaitez un bon rapport qualité/prix faîtes y un arrêt ! Je vous conseille les huîtres et les moules. Les produits sont frais et les assiettes généreuses.

Very good cocktail and we each had 2 glasses of ice cream, my husband and I, it was so good 😍 excellent!!! the one with the grapefruit ball, blood orange, lemon , arrange in order, washed down with Schweppes. excellent!!! Not to mention the setting inside the magnificent bar. We will come back soon 👍.

08/09/2024: Just unpleasant welcome, no way of being served, waiters not wanting to serve, customers considered ghosts at the end of the season, just unacceptable! To flee!

02/12/2024: Came with friends, very warm welcome and kindness from all the staff and the boss, Nice restaurant which is a change from the big brands, all-you-can-eat buffet, fresh, enough choice for this treat, value for money. We will come back

17/11/2024: We got there after consulting the menu online, when I asked to be served a la carte and not at the buffet, I was told that it was clearly specified that it was to be taken away even though it was not. I show the site to the manager where it is obviously not specified and there he is on the verge of calling me a liar, despite supporting evidence.

19/09/2024: We are still waiting for someone to deign to take care of us to have an aperitif! Staff arguing in front of customers! We left after 15 minutes because the waiter walked past us several times without calculating! Deplorable!

04/09/2024: Well located restaurant. The “vegebowl” dish was good, with lots of flavors. The service is a little quick, we received the aperitif at the same time as the dishes... Servers not really smiling... too bad.

04/09/2024: Evening meal taken in this restaurant at the beginning of September, I had the mussels marinière, they were very good, perhaps a little lack of seasoning but don't worry, you will still enjoy it! Nothing to say about the quantity. As for the atmosphere, it's certainly not the most beautiful restaurant in Royan but it's passable. For the service we were greeted by a smiling waitress, a smile that is missing on the faces of her colleagues.. I deplore the fact that the dish arrives barely 3 minutes after the drinks :/ In short, we ate well there all the same.
