30/08/2026: We came for a business trip. Before our arrival, we noticed that the campsite was quite isolated and had very limited phone and internet coverage. Upon arrival, the manager, who was very kind and welcoming, offered us Wi-Fi for €10 for the week. We accepted, but what a disappointment: we couldn't get a decent signal in the mobile home, even with this connection. We went to the swimming pool, but there was another disappointment: the pool wasn't heated. On Saturday morning, when we went to return the keys, we ran into the owner. Unfortunately, we found him very unfriendly. He simply had someone working there tell us to leave the keys inside the mobile home. So we left without even being able to speak to anyone at reception. In short, we do not plan to return and we do not particularly recommend this campsite, which is a shame because the owner is really lovely, welcoming, very kind, but unfortunately this is not enough to compensate for the various disappointments encountered during our stay.

24/08/2026: Very nice campsite, good experience. Very friendly staff. Plenty of fun things to do nearby (donkey farm, Île de la Grenouillette...). No mobile network coverage, good for disconnecting. But once you leave the forest, you get a signal for important calls.

21/08/2026: The kebabs were really good, one of the best I've ever eaten. I recommend this place if you're passing through, you won't be disappointed!

06/04/2026: As a couple from Châtelaillon, we've tried quite a few restaurants, but this one stands out: our absolute favorite, our two favorites... 👌 A little gem and a very pleasant surprise. The setting and interior decor are magnificent, the owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the quality of service, with its very friendly and pleasant waiters, contributes greatly to the overall experience, ensuring we always have a great time. As for the food, it's flawless. The cocktails are superb (I recommend the Barbie Spitz and the Porn Star: absolute gems!), and the cuisine is simply divine... A delight! For the menu, I recommend the small salmon and shrimp casserole as a starter—a real treat. The food is as beautiful as it is delicious, both the à la carte menu and the daily specials... Special mention goes to the vegetables of the day, always original and delicious... Bravo and compliments to the chef and his sous-chef... The value for money is truly excellent as well, allowing you to enjoy delicious homemade dishes and a wonderful experience. In short, everything is perfect... Thank you again for everything 🤗

13/08/2026: For our stay in La Rochelle, I went to Paradis d'Asie. The meal was excellent, well-served, and the owner was very welcoming and kind.

04/08/2026: Only one checkout was open at 2 PM today, and 20 shopping carts were waiting.

04/08/2026: Appalling long wait for cashier. Only 2 tills open at 13.50hrs on a Tuesday. There were at least 5 or 6 people waiting at each till, most with trolleys full. No attempt made by staff to open any additional tills. They can spend money on increasing the size of the car park but not staff to provide to work on the cash desks. Supervisor walked around no apology. Just seen the prompt reply from Leclerc. I can assure you there were only ever two cash till open plus the self service. Our cashier swapped over whilst we were waiting in the queue, so could their data be misinterpreted and showed that two cash desks were open when there was in reality only one.

04/09/2026: The greatest place I have ever been, my family whose been incredibly critical in the past, has been delighted to discover this wonderful place in Saintes. The service is great, and they speak English as well as french which is great for tourists who have been visiting. The atmosphere was inviting and warm (even though it was hot anyway ha ha) and it wasn't too crowded. Once in a while a train (100% electric) would pass through, I thought that was very nice. As well as burgers and chips, they also served coffee and ice cream, there was a lot of flavours and you could get three whole scoops, the whole menu was great, the burgers were big and fluffy, the chips were served in large portions or small, the coffee smelled great! And the ice-cream was dancing upon my tounge after it landed in the critical lands of my taste buds. Considering McDonalds has such a low bar to pass these days it's easy to say; "it's way better than McDonalds" but this restaurant is spectacular, amazing and exceptional. Thank you

17/07/2026: A superb experience at La Florentine! We ate very well: the pizza was excellent and the burger equally delicious. The service was top-notch, and to finish, the tiramisu was a real treat. I highly recommend this place; it's flawless, and I will definitely be back!

29/08/2026: We received a warm welcome at this beachside crêperie. What could have been a tourist trap turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The galettes and crêpes were delicious, the view lovely, and the service attentive. Only the owner at the till seemed unhappy with his life… a shame.

16/06/2026: After a bike ride 🚲 We stopped to buy some long oysters, €5 a dozen Very friendly welcome 👍 Excellent price 🔝 We didn't know about it... Yet, we've passed by it several times 😏 Highly recommended 😉

13/08/2026: Closes at 9:00 PM... but stops taking orders at 7:35 PM!!! 😴 Visited on August 13th, peak season, for 4 takeout pizzas. So, no other choice but to go elsewhere to see if we can order 4 basic pizzas!!! It's 8:00 PM, fingers crossed, hope! 😅

18/08/2026: At Subway Rochefort, we received excellent service this evening from two very friendly and pleasant young men, unlike the two young women who were there previously and hadn't filled the sandwiches properly.

07/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful discovery! We had a very enjoyable meal with excellent and attentive service. The restaurant's setting is truly superb, as is its location, which made the experience even more delightful. Special mention for the dessert: the fromage blanc mousse was superb and a truly lovely surprise to end the meal. A great place that we were delighted to discover. We will gladly return! 😊

02/08/2026: No indication of the pizzeria closing... neither on the storefront nor on their website nor on Google...

20/08/2026: The wait was very long for ordering, service, and even payment. I understand that deliveries arrived shortly before the evening service, but still, I would have appreciated being informed beforehand that I would be spending over an hour there, especially since I was eating alone and had other customers expected that evening. Also, I had asked for no onions in the salad, but there were loads. It's a shame, because otherwise, the value for money is good.

18/08/2026: Back for the second year, still as good and generous as ever, and the owner's approval is a real pleasure. I recommend it even more. Don't hesitate.
