09/09/2024: Mixed opinion on the hotel. Good room but view of the work which did not stop for the holidays. Scaffolding right next to us all over the house, very ugly net all over the front preventing us from getting through to go to the bedroom. So detour. Pipes, pieces of wood, scrap metal, empty water bottles before our eyes on the roof in front of the room. Nobody takes away. It doesn't bother anyone. Dirty parking lot. No footbridge to reach the reception, the breakfasts, the Spa. Not planned. So outside even if it rains. And then they allow themselves to give us additional thoughts. People at reception not very friendly except one. Not very nice housekeepers. Room and terrace not very clean. Do not vacuum often. And terrace do nothing. Dirty table etc... Not bad restaurant but there are better. We always tell us it's full and then suddenly there's room left. So not complete. Spa good.

17/08/2024: Top cuisine, a spacious terrace and quality service with a wait that is not long at all. In a word, it’s perfect for having a good time! I highly recommend!

12/08/2024: Had a burger in the evening which was delicious. Service was very nice, ambience was ok.

01/10/2024: In the summer months it is even more beautiful in the garden. Due to high demand, access to the café has been controlled separately via the garden entrance for several years. At lunchtime on weekends it can take a while to get a table. The tartlets, sweet or salty, are great. The coffee is also good for Germans and there is a small pot of hot milk with Mllchkaffee. The staff is competent, mostly bilingual and very friendly.

29/09/2024: Cold welcome, decent service but the consumption is not up to par, as for homemade chocolate I am still looking for chocolate, bland, tasteless...many pastries on the menu were actually missing.

08/07/2024: Beautiful hotel at interesting prices. Very tasty food and a great welcome from the owners. The motorcycles were safe and the area is a motorcycle paradise. We would love to come back.

25/06/2024: We were there on Sunday...already at the reservation...unpleasant welcome...(only because we asked for "the Stub" for a table of 10. On arrival also a cold welcome (always by the same person!!!..short hair waitress...corpulent)..and of course we were seated in the restaurant where it is very very very noisy😭.... as if it was on purpose..!!! There were a lot of people (too many!!) and therefore not manageable..😫..endless waiting result..... When paying...(always the same person) I asked "tip"...not even THANK YOU...😫😫😡incredible..I should have given it to the waitress at the table (she was so nice) We are customers from time to time....won't be back anytime soon...or not at all! Disappointing

14/07/2024: Originally from Alsace but expatriated in Switzerland for several years, I needed to recharge my batteries in Alsace. Well, no problem, stop at this magnificent inn which welcomes you as if you were at home, without pressure, well at least in the glass. Thomas and Hélène are magnificent hosts who welcome you warmly and offer you a traditional restaurant where you can taste excellent traditional dishes like their tartes flambées which are naturally a must. But that's not all, I and my little family slept there in their gîte which offers all the comfort and cleanliness and above all unparalleled calm. Also take the opportunity to buy them the honey that Thomas produces with his own hands which is excellent. We really had a nice time with them. An address that I highly recommend, you can go there whether to eat or sleep or both, with your eyes closed.

13/09/2024: There were four of us. Two took the menu at 18.5, one took the shank, one the “new” sauerkraut. Excellent, warm welcome and good atmosphere. Luckily we had reservations. We also liked the muscat as an aperitif.

25/08/2024: Exceptional tartes flambées, if you are passing through the area not to be missed. Super nice waitress and boss.

21/08/2024: We ate tarte flambée and it was extremely good!!!! There were different variants, we only had normal, cheese and plums, I didn't find the plums that exciting... Unfortunately I forgot to take photos...

08/09/2024: As part of a group of around thirty people, we were gathered in a small room, which made it very noisy. As for the meal, the dish of the day, a very small plate composed of a little cold meats and small cubes of tomatoes. The dish, a good-sized breaded escalope, accompanied by a gratin dauphinois and some green beans, not well cooked, but edible by cutting them. Dessert, a failed damson tart, was replaced by slices of Vacherin cheese. Congratulations to the lady who served us in a good mood despite everything.

08/09/2024: Lots of choice on the menu. The half/half option for tarte flambées is very interesting, it allows you to taste several compositions. At 3, we were able to taste the traditional, the traditional gratinated, the munster, the mushroom gratinated and the garlic one. We enjoyed ourselves. Without having booked, we only had a short wait. The service is good and the staff very friendly. We will come back soon because I loved what I ate. 🤩

23/09/2024: Used to Michelin-starred restaurants, this time it was good but nothing unforgettable. And so for a Michelin star I found it a little small: arrived at the end of the meal no sweets. The owner's reason: "it's only served if you have coffee". So in this case you would have to follow through with your ridiculous approach because the table next to us only had coffee for 2 guests, but sweets arrived for both of them. In your logic you should not have bring only for the person who ordered the coffee. In any case, having come several times in the past, it is with great pleasure that we will never set foot there again.

16/08/2024: We have been to Thierry Schwartz many times and they never disappoint. The food is always amazing and the wine selection is truly expansive, special and unique. I always end up leaving with a new favorite wine and some interesting information from the sommelier. Highly recommend. We will be back soon!

19/09/2024: Clean and quiet hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Quality breakfast, although a little expensive. The spa is perfect! Perfect geographical location, with transport right next door, and easy access to the motorway. Nothing to complain about, we'll come back!

18/09/2024: Good hotel, we had chosen it exclusively for access to the SPA, but it was emptied following a technical problem that occurred the day before so the water was 20°, even the less cautious among us did not stay there any longer of 5 min.. the saunas were also far from the indicated temperatures. Given the situation (for which no one is responsible), a commercial gesture would have been the least we could do because we paid for this access to the spa. This was not done despite us reporting our dissatisfaction to reception. So, without a SPA, you might as well take another 4 star which will be much cheaper.
