02/08/2026: Friendly. The receptionist was very professional.

01/08/2026: Very disappointed today. The kidneys were swimming in mustard seed sauce, and the spaetzle side dish was very meager. When I added the spaetzle to the plate, they were swimming in sauce; you could barely see them. I politely asked if I could have a few more, but they were €2.50 each! So I didn't order anything else and will go somewhere else tomorrow. I should also mention that the two beers I ordered were served with a thin line and topped off with a nice head of foam. It has nothing to do with authentic Alsatian cuisine. But the staff were friendly!

12/07/2026: A friendly and welcoming place with a large terrace and the option to open the roof inside the restaurant. It has a lot of character, with exposed beams (a real gem!), and is a former winemaker's house. The staff is very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The tarte flambée and pizzas are delicious. There are other menu options as well. The desserts were a real treat. Highly recommended.

17/08/2026: Very nice restaurant in an old basement with high ceilings. We had the lunch menu and it was a good price and large portions. The server was very friendly as well. Highly recommendable

25/08/2026: Last Sunday, I went to eat at this restaurant for the first time with a football team. The welcome was friendly, the service pleasant, the atmosphere warm, and above all, the food was homemade with fresh ingredients. For starters, I had a gourmet salad (with homemade foie gras) followed by a truly delicious vol-au-vent with homemade spaetzle, generously served. Thank you for this pleasant moment spent at your establishment; everything is done to satisfy the customer. Another important point: the restrooms are very clean. Best of luck. See you soon.

28/08/2026: A great restaurant that makes its own bacon for its tarte flambée. Excellent service with a courteous owner, a smiling waitress, and reasonable prices! Besides their tarte flambée, their other dishes are also very good! In Wissembourg, it's my favorite restaurant! I go there regularly.

10/08/2026: Highly recommended are: Duck with orange sauce and vegetables Entrecote with homemade herb butter, fries, and a selection of vegetables. Both are cooked to perfection—a true delight! And all at a great price.

14/07/2026: We ate at L'Arbre Vert yesterday during our visit to Lembach. Excellent value for money. I chose the duck à l'orange with homemade croquettes. Delicious! Very good "homemade" cuisine. Friendly service.

At Le Pastoral in Huttenheim, everything just clicks: The ambiance is pleasant and inviting, the service is friendly and attentive, and the food is prepared with great care. Everything tastes fresh, is harmoniously flavored, and beautifully presented. The relaxed atmosphere is particularly appealing, making you feel instantly at ease. The team is warm and welcoming, ensuring that your visit is a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The value for money is also excellent. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend Le Pastoral in Huttenheim – whether for a cozy evening for two or for a visit with family or friends.

20/08/2026: The bar closes at 1:30 a.m. It's 3:50 a.m., and for the last two hours I've been unable to sleep because of what I presume to be the staff who stayed in the bar after closing time. They are making a mess like a bunch of screeching animals, playing loud music, singing and drunkenly yelling. Absolutely unbothered by the fact that the bar is situated in a densely inhabited area, during hot weather when everyone has to sleep with their windows open. I understand that I live in the centre of Strasbourg and above a bar, but this is simply unacceptable. The police are apparently unbothered, and I don't feel particularly positive about going downstairs to talk to a bunch of drunk guys in the middle of the night.

15/08/2026: Arrived very late on August 15th, received a warm welcome, delicious and generous meal, super friendly and attentive staff, a lovely, tree-lined terrace, and a peaceful atmosphere – in short, a must-visit! Thank you for this wonderful time 🥰

31/08/2026: Excellent food, unfortunately, much less warm service. We had lunch at Windhof this Friday, a party of five, and as far as the food was concerned, there was very little to criticize: the dishes were delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. We genuinely enjoyed the cuisine, and it deserves to be highlighted. However, the welcome and service left us with a much more mixed impression. Few smiles, little interaction, no real effort to make the guests feel comfortable, and a very professional but rather rushed service. Nothing inherently wrong, but a coldness quite unusual in a restaurant of this caliber, which unfortunately contrasts sharply with the quality of the food. Towards the end of the meal, the atmosphere thankfully relaxed, and the service became a little more pleasant. Perhaps the waitress simply became more at ease as the meal progressed. Another point to note: if the entire table doesn't choose the set menu, everyone must then order à la carte. This rule is clearly stated on the restaurant's website and upon entering, so there were no unpleasant surprises in this regard, but it remains rather unusual and, for me, difficult to understand. Two of us ordered a main course and dessert, one ordered just a main course. The remaining two recreated the entire menu from the à la carte menu, which cost them about twelve euros more than the set menu, around €62 instead of €49. What justifies this €23 or €24 surcharge? Was it the portion sizes, the efficiency of the service...? In the end, a very enjoyable dining experience, but the welcome could have been warmer. It's a shame, because with more friendly and attentive service, our opinion would have been quite different. I don't wish to recommend this restaurant at the moment; perhaps I'll try another place.
