06/09/2026: Discovered by chance at a classic car meet a few kilometers from the restaurant. Without a reservation, we received a very warm welcome on a shaded terrace. The meat is truly excellent, with homemade sauces. We will gladly return 😊. See you soon

13/07/2026: What a great find . We had traveled for 9 hours on our motorbikes , dealing rather tired ! I asked a local lady where a hotel was . She sent us here! The lady on reception was really kind and accomodating . The hotel was perfect , nice rooms and beautifully kept . The restaurant was closed but it was ok , we were guided to a fantastic local restaurant 3 mins away . Breakfast was perfect . We left refreshed thank you so much

17/05/2026: A very pleasant 4-night stay. The (premium) room was spacious and welcoming, with a very comfortable bathroom and thoughtful overall decor. Excellent bedding. Breakfasts were perfect, with a wide selection of products (several different kinds of bread, for example), and a well-stocked buffet. You feel at ease and comfortable in this place where everything is done to ensure a pleasant stay. The owner and staff are welcoming and friendly. Very well located, especially for visiting Strasbourg.

12/08/2026: I've never seen so many flies on pastries, and nobody seems to mind. I understand the difficulty in this heat, but this is really excessive. I turned around immediately.

28/08/2026: Excellent place! Many tables were occupied, which is a good sign. The Camembert and Munster cheese with fries as a main course was very generous. The foie gras and scallop salad as a main course was excellent, but perhaps a little small for a big appetite. Very friendly welcome and fast, top-notch service. Highly recommended!

17/10/2026: We go there from time to time; we're from the big city of Strasbourg, We're city dwellers. The young staff is always very welcoming. The cuisine introduces us to ephemeral tarte flambée (with oyster mushrooms), excellent game dishes (venison shank, venison stew), and of course, their generous desserts. Yes, because in the family there's a good hunter, a good butcher, and of course, a very good cook. Thank you all! Of course, given this great place... Sometimes the service is a little slow... But we don't just go there to eat, but for the lovely atmosphere... for example, right now they have Halloween decorations 🎃. And lastly, you can leave with local apples or their homemade sausage... Me, I'm having the venison... See you soon... Perfect

16/10/2026: Excellent evening! It had been years since my last visit. The venison medallion and venison stew (suggestions) were a pure delight and very generous portions, although more expensive than other dishes due to the quality and rarity of the meat. Absolutely no regrets! Exquisitely flavorful! Magnificent service from "Cass," who was incredibly kind 🙏 Top-notch team and setting! We will definitely be back very soon! Thank you!

31/08/2026: We went here for dinner yesterday based on several recommendations (from other guests at our accommodation and especially from Google Maps) and were absolutely delighted. The food was incredibly delicious, and the value for money was the best we've found in the area so far. We had mussels in white wine broth and tarte flambée, as well as a superb dessert. The service was incredibly friendly and fast. We were lucky to get a table, as we arrived on the off-chance as soon as the restaurant opened in the evening (7 pm). So, a reservation is highly recommended. Good places attract good people, and apart from us, everyone else there was a local, which speaks for itself.

18/08/2026: Never disappointed. We've been coming here forever, and I never thought to leave a review. We love it! For family celebrations, a romantic dinner, or a meal with friends, we know we'll always eat very, very well. When we come with 25 people, everyone is delighted. And it's always beautifully presented. And, yes, victims of their own success, you sometimes have to wait when it's busy. It's the price of fame, and patience isn't everyone's strong suit. An extra star for the revisited Dame Blanche with its chocolate sauce that you can add as much as you like (but it's so good that you'll end up with it all 😉).

27/09/2026: The wait for our main course (ribeye steak and tuna tataki) was extremely long: we waited over 50 minutes... What a shame. Otherwise, the price of the ribeye steak was a bit steep (€32, if I remember correctly) considering the thickness of the cut of meat.

25/04/2026: Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful lunch with a large group. The welcome was exceptionally friendly and professional, the interior modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. The food was a true highlight. We were particularly impressed by the restaurant's child-friendliness – both the selection on the menu and the warm, playful manner of the staff. A big thank you to the entire team. We would love to come back again.

04/04/2026: A ☆TOP☆ recommendation from a very good friend 🙏 This was our first time at the mill, and we received outstanding service. The food and wine service are of an exceptionally high standard and truly deserve a Michelin star. The very friendly welcome and the consistently attentive, but never intrusive, service made the entire evening feel effortless. We also experienced truly authentic, first-class Alsatian cuisine, which was absolutely perfect. The portions and the impeccable presentation of the dishes were perfectly balanced. Ms. Benedict's wine recommendations were also excellent; she was always attentive, allowing us to fully enjoy the entire evening. It was our wedding anniversary, which also included our birthday, and we will definitely be returning in the future, even without any special occasions. 13/09/2026: Very disappointed… we had booked for 6 people and called back to add 2 more, no problem! Except that when we arrived, the table had 6 people instead of 8. The staff reacted immediately and added 2 more places, which was a positive step, except that the owner questioned our word by shouting from the restaurant door! This is no way to welcome customers! Even if I had made a mistake with the reservation, he had no right to greet us like that! We were ready to turn around and leave, but our guests arrived…. The first tarte flambée we ordered was served cold, the second was very good. We ordered the third, but the order wasn't registered; we had to call again…. The service was very slow, and after more than 2 hours for 4 tarte flambées, we left. A bad experience for us!

11/09/2026: We had a great time! We were on holiday in the village and today we ate at this restaurant. I'm in the restaurant business myself, and I can say it's a friendly place with good food and very nice waitresses. We'll definitely be back in Normandy. It's a shame we didn't stop by sooner! 🏆 See you soon!

23/08/2026: Nice place, pleasant setting. We had tarte flambée. It was excellent. The quality and quantity of the ingredients were spot on. The service was top-notch, the staff very friendly. A year later we went back, the atmosphere was still fantastic and the staff just as friendly. I ate one of the best meat dishes I've ever had in a restaurant.
