12/08/2026: What an incredible experience on Rue Klein! We had an absolutely delightful time in this refined setting. The attention to detail is remarkable. I particularly enjoyed the amuse-bouche served in a small bowl filled with flax seeds, accompanied by crispy crackers. Each dish was presented with an artistic precision that delighted both the eyes and the palate. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. We will definitely be back.

19/08/2026: Don’t go if you wish only a cold beer after a cycle or run. We are staying local and cycled past the restaurant. It was on a short list to book for a meal one eve. However we were told no for drinks only as it’s a restaurant. Mid afternoon with few tables taken. I would try somewhere else more welcoming. Especially if you are active in the area

18/08/2026: Delicious food. The fries were perfect, and the chicken nuggets were homemade—always a good sign. The chicken livers were excellent, as was the dressing. All in all, a wonderful birthday for my mother. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was superb. The restaurant is located at a roundabout, which didn't bother us at all. The terrace is still highly recommended. We spent €160 for three adults and two children, and we didn't skimp on either the food or the drinks. The price-performance ratio was therefore excellent for us. Thank you for the lovely lunch.

26/07/2026: We felt comfortable from the very first moment. The food was delicious and flavorful, and the portions were just right. We especially enjoyed the exquisite desserts. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and cheerful. When I asked, they recommended a wine to complement my meal—a recommendation that was spot on. The service was attentive, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The cozy atmosphere also made our visit a truly enjoyable experience. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back. Thank you for your warm hospitality!

28/07/2026: We had our meal on the roadside terrace. The traditional cuisine was excellent, and the service was pleasant and friendly. And don't forget to try a Mutzig beer! I highly recommend it.

28/07/2026: Just one small negative point about the terrace: it's very noisy during the week because of the traffic, but I imagine it must be much quieter on Sundays. Otherwise, the food is very good; it reminds me of my grandmother's cooking.

13/06/2026: This restaurant is a bit hidden in the market area and takes some finding, but the interior is beautiful and the service is friendly. The food is high quality, the menu is small and seasonal. The homemade fries are amazing! The daily special is excellent value for money! The only downside is that the dining room is very noisy and the service is often quite slow.

The welcome was exceptionally friendly and professional, the interior modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. The food was a true highlight. We were particularly impressed by the restaurant's child-friendliness – both the selection on the menu and the warm, playful manner of the staff. A big thank you to the entire team. We would love to come back again.

04/04/2026: A ☆TOP☆ recommendation from a very good friend 🙏 This was our first time at the mill, and we received outstanding service. The food and wine service are of an exceptionally high standard and truly deserve a Michelin star. The very friendly welcome and the consistently attentive, but never intrusive, service made the entire evening feel effortless. We also experienced truly authentic, first-class Alsatian cuisine, which was absolutely perfect. The portions and the impeccable presentation of the dishes were perfectly balanced. Ms. Benedict's wine recommendations were also excellent; she was always attentive, allowing us to fully enjoy the entire evening. It was our wedding anniversary, which also included our birthday, and we will definitely be returning in the future, even without any special occasions. 24/07/2026: Excellent place! The traditional Alsatian dishes are delicious and of high quality. The staff is extremely friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations, which made the meal even more pleasant. Note that the terrace is accessible to people with reduced mobility, unlike the interior. We highly recommend it!

21/07/2026: A restaurant I stumbled upon, a little gem that deserves to be shared, 100% authentic Alsatian cuisine at a reasonable price.

03/06/2026: First experience at this Hohwald restaurant for a family lunch. We were warmly welcomed by smiling and attentive staff. The overall atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. The dishes were beautifully presented, tasty, and clearly prepared with care. Unfortunately, one detail significantly marred this otherwise positive impression. The small salad accompanying the fried food was particularly meager, and any additional portion was charged at €2.50. For a bill of €180 for four people, charging this extra for a few leaves of salad feels stingy and difficult to understand. It's a shame, because up until that point, everything was going very well. This small, inconsistent gesture ultimately overshadowed the rest of the experience. For this reason, despite the aforementioned positive aspects, I don't plan to return.

25/05/2026: The location is lovely. We went to the restaurant and were very disappointed by the small portions (vegetarian spritzes) and the small size of the Aperol spritz (18cl) for 7/8 euros. Walk 100 meters further up the road and you'll find another inn where 30cl of spritz costs 6.50 euros.
