09/11/2025: This morning I thought, for a change, I'll go to their place. I see fruit bread for almost €20 a kilo. Strangely, I don't see any fruit on top of the bread. I ask him, "Are you sure it's fruit bread?" "Yes, yes." I think the picture speaks for itself. ... I assume, of course, that it's not the same price as the seeded bread, not to mention the anorexic-looking Menele.

18/09/2024: we had a great dinner here on our last night in strausborg. this is a small and intimate restaurant with a limited menu, just how my dad and I like it. we especially appreciated the owner, who was willing to speak french with my dad. he was raised by quebec french speakers and the french in france are not always enthused when foreigners try to speak their language. ultimately, we were the quietest americans in the restaurant (low bar). on to food. started with the beef carpaccio, which could have been a bit thinner but the nice pesto spread over the top of it made up for it. I had perfectly cooked steak frites in pepper sauce and my dad got the duck. we both throughly enjoyed our meal and had to finish with creme brulee. i would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend. the owner made us feel like family and that is the key to good dining. cheers and hope to return sgain.

Following our visit to Alsace Epfig, magnificent little village near Obernai Vineyards and vines as far as the eye can see, a city crossroads and a restaurant, the KIRMANN restaurant, a killer from tarte flambée to Munster burger and ham, you will find Alsasace in its full taste, not to mention the natural and organic wines offered on their card Go for it

10/12/2025: I ordered Braised Ham Hock with Pinot Noir and Homemade Spaetzle. When it was served in a small casserole dish, it was still frozen inside. I asked for it to be reheated, and when it came back to the table, it wasn't cooked... Homemade product straight from the freezer!

12/09/2024: I go there to get my old-fashioned bread and my croissants every morning. And the boss and his staff form a very friendly team.

18/12/2024: Place in the center in front of the cathedral, therefore a very tourist location. Despite everything, clean, correct and efficient service. I ate a very good Tarte flambee and from my point of view at a fair price. The elevated part of the restaurant with windows/overlooking the street is also beautiful.

31/05/2025: We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The restaurant food is excellent. The service provided by the entire staff is high-quality yet friendly. The setting is charming. The proximity to Strasbourg is a plus. We recommend this establishment.
